How does anyone really know what the perfect woman is?  I mean there are many fantastically beautiful woman everywhere all over the World.  So how is it that you can pick one out of them all and call her the most beautiful woman in the World? This story begins when such a woman was a very little girl.  She was already walking and beginning to learn how to talk. First she chattered tons only not in any language that anyone else could ever understand.  Both her parents were extremely busy people.  Before they even met they both ran their own successful businesses.  Her Mother was a tall woman where women are considered tall and her father was even tall for a man.  He mother had long blond hair and big blue eyes.  Her skin was pretty fair in complexion and she had distinguishing high cheek bones with a tiny nose and what most would say is a perfect chin.  Her father was brown haired with big green eyes.  His eyes were not Hazel, but a light green and they also had some brown and yellow surrounding his pupils.  His smile was his best feature on his face and his dimples matched the one on his chin.   To look at the two of them anyone who didn’t know them would just assume they were models or actors of some kind.  He was a stock broker before the stock markets crashed and he took his money and got out of that business and opened up his own Casino in Las Vegas. Her Mother was a successful caterer and chef who opened up a chain of restaurants all over the country.  The house they lived in was all made of cedar and sat on a hillside off Spruce Road.  They had about 25 acres, that went from the hillside to the valley where they build horse barns, stables and arenas. Inside the house the floors were all dark hard wood and every room had a minimal amount of furniture.  The grand dining room had a full length table with ten chairs on each side and one at the ends. It was always set for 22 people. Off the kitchen was a little nook with a small round table and four chairs.  This was where the family always ate when it was a time to be formal.  The house had six bedrooms and six bathrooms.  Every bathroom was grand in its own and three of them had fireplaces in them.  There were two more fireplaces, one in the Master Suite and the other off the main reception or great room.  In the great room there was a full wall length wet bar, that was completely stocked with a freezer and refrigerator.  Beneath one of the stairs was a small door and when you went into that it lead you into a room that was half wood and half real mountain.  This room was the full length of the entire house.  It housed the wine cellar, and also a dance studio where there were mirrored walls on the wood side of the room.   There was also a few pool tables, a ice hockey table as well as two shuffle board tables.  As time went by the family trained and rode horses as one of the many hobbies. That little girl was growing up and she had taken dancing, singing, and acting classes in between her regular education Her Father and her would go hiking, biking, hunting, kayaking, and skiing. Her Mother and her would bake and cook together.  She was a perfectly well rounded and smart young lady.  At the top of her class and excelling in everything she ever did.  She didn’t turn out being as tall as either of her parents when she grew up. Instead she was only 5 foot tall. Her frame was petite but that never stopped her from doing anything that she ever wanted to do.  In school if boys tried to bully her or have their way with her she was smart enough and strong enough to fight her way out of it.  Her hair was long and brown.  Her eyes, bluish green.  She only weighed 110 pounds, and was always picked for the dances where there was lots of aerials.  If she walked anywhere in public both men and women would stop what they were doing and just find themselves starring at her.  She was that beautiful.  She never really noticed, but she did smile at them if she saw them looking at her as she passed. This story really begins for her in her Junior year in High school, when she’s just finishing out the year and her family is planning on taking some well deserved time off work and going on a three month vacation together.  Her name is Jennifer Sparrow. 04052011

“Good Morning Mommy and Daddy” she said as she walked down the stairs into the kitchen.  “Hi Baby” Daddy replied from behind the morning paper. “Scrambled eggs and bacon for breakfast this morning honey?”  Her Mommy asked.  “Yes please.”  She sat down beside her Father at the table while her Mother set down her hot plate of food and then poured her a nice tall glass of freshly squeezed orange juice.  “Cormac are you finished?” “Yes Darcy thank you.” She kissed him as she cleared his plate and silverware.  “Mommy sit down with us, have some coffee” I said. She refilled Daddy’s cup and then sat down beside me with her own.  “Are you excited about this trip?”  “Yes, I’m all packed and ready to go.”  04062011

Just then our housekeeper Gertrude walked in.  “Hi Gertie!”  I hugged and kissed her and then we all ran upstairs to get ourselves ready for the trip.  Just about 45 minutes passed and we came down with out luggage and things and set them down in the foyer. “Now Gertrude, you have all our cell numbers if anything out of the ordinary happens while we’re away.  Make yourself at home but try to keep the parties to a minimum.” Mom said as she kissed and hugged her.  “Well Gertie, you’re the Queen of the house so have fun, but not too much fun.” Daddy said with a smile and he winked.  “Okay you guys have fun but be safe.  I love you.”  “We love you too Gertie, I will text you as often as possible” I said and then the taxi honked so we grabbed our bags and loaded them up into the trunk of the car and then got in.  “Airport please.”  “You got it Sir.” We had taken lots of family trips together all over the United States and Europe but this trip was so much more exciting for me because I was older and it was somewhere that I had always dreamed of visiting. “Honey are we forgetting anything?” “No Dear, you always ask me that and I already triple checked the list.”  We pulled up to the airport and got our luggage and then found our Gate.  It was Gate 16 to New York.  Once we would land in NY then we would catch  another plane to Monte Carlo and then headed to Monaco. 04062011

It was a six hour flight from Las Vegas to New York.  I was already exhausted.  I was glad that I thought to bring my mini DVD player and headphones and my Ipod.  It helped make the flight a little easier.  We grabbed a quick bite to eat in the Airport and then we hopped on another plane and few 23 hours to France.  I somehow managed to sleep 10 of those 23 hours, but don’t ask me how. The seats were so uncomfortable. The meal on the flight was delicious.  I ordered the steak, baked potato and steamed vegetables.  I could eat that every day if I didn’t know how unhealthy it is to eat like that on a daily basis. “Finally we’re here in Monte Carlo. I think we should stay one night here to get in some sight seeing before we go on to Monaco.” Daddy said and Mommy agreed.  Daddy made a phone call from the airport and secured a room for us at the local hotel.  04062011

Once we got in our cab I was so relieved to be on land.  Flying is fun don’t get me wrong but it’s not that much fun when you have to endure flights like that clear across the World.  Our cab pulled up to the front of the hotel and the bell boy grabbed out luggage and loaded them up on a large luggage cart.  He escorted us to our room after Daddy signed in and got the room keys.  All I wanted to do when I got into the room was nap for an hour or two.  He laid down while Mommy unpacked as little as possible and then she joined him.  What would have been noon for us in Las Vegas was evening  in Monte Carlo.  After a little nap Daddy said “Well we could go out to dinner on the town if you like.” ’Yeah that sounds great.”  I said and Mommy agreed. Daddy called the front desk and asked what restaurants they could recommend to us.  They said that they had a list with maps and he could get it on the way out.  He hung up the phone and said  “Okay let’s go then.”  We went to Le Louis XVI and went inside.  It was very elegant inside.  Lots of wood molding and granite counter tops. Daddy came in last after Mommy and I.  He was stopped out front by a poor old man who seemed to be down on his luck, and was asking everyone for some money to buy himself something to eat.  Just as fast as we were seated and then the server was taking our order, Daddy was ordering up a full dinner to go.  I knew what he was doing and so did Mommy, but the waiter seemed to have a blank and curious look on his face.  All Daddy said was “We have a hungry dog waiting for us back at the hotel.”  The waiter smiled and said “As you wish Sir.”  I made my order quickly because I knew what I wanted before I even got to the place.  Mommy said she needed more time. The to go dinner arrived to the table first then the drinks.  Daddy grabbed the order and walked outside.  I could see him looking for someone and I had a feeling he was buying that poor beggar something nice to eat. He walked back inside with out the dinner box and I knew right away what he had done.  Although my parent worked very hard for everything they have they also knew that sometimes the smallest and kindest gesture might help jump start a person into a positive tailspin and they could pull themselves up out of the rubble.  This was a lesson they both learned early on in life from both sets of my Grandparents.  They were known to everyone, everywhere as “The Beautiful” not only because of their looks but also because of their inner beauty.  I tried desperately to follow in their foot steps and live up to their expectations. The three of us were very happy striving for it. 04072011

“Thanks for dinner Mommy and Daddy it was delicious.”  “You’re welcome honey” They replied.  We got up and began to walk out.  The waiter said “Thank you for coming, please come back again sometime.”  Daddy turned and smiled as we walked out.  He removed his jacked and carried it under his arm.  We continued walking up the street and he walked into that man who was sitting on the ground eating his dinner that my Daddy had given to him.  Daddy leaned down and gentle wrapped his coat around him and then he whispered something into his ear. He began to get back up and I could see the man begin to cry and then he whispered back “Thank you.”  We continued to walk to the corner where we waited for the light.  “Dear, what’s going on?”  “Oh Mother, I gave him my coat and enough money for a months rent somewhere to get him off the streets. What’s the big deal?”  Mommy didn’t say anything.  She just pulled Daddy in with her arm wrapped inside of his and rested her head on his shoulder.  I was so proud of him and it was nothing for him to be so generous, kind and caring. “Where do you want to go now?  Shall we walk around and check the city out?”   “Yes” I said.  Daddy bought me a hooded sweatshirt and Mommy and I a matching set of necklace and bracelet strings of real Pearls.  As we were walking back to the block where we could catch a cab and go back to the hotel we passed a Casino and heard a ton of people screaming and yelling coming from inside.  We all stopped to see if we could catch a glimpse of what was going on through the opened door beyond the doorman and sure enough it was the man who Daddy had given money to get a room for the month.  “It looks like his luck has changed for the good.” Mommy said “Yeah, Imagine that.”  “Isn’t  that something?”  I smiled at them and they smiled at me and we caught our cab and headed back to the hotel. 04072011

We got back to the hotel and I got into my pajamas.  I wasn’t ready to go right to bed yet.  I wanted to visit with my parents before I did.  I sat on their bed and asked again how my twin brother had passed away.  They both began to tell me about the way things had happened that day that we both were born.  I had heard the story about a thousand times before but I never got tired of it and as they told me usually it gave me a better and clearer understanding of how and why things turned out the way that they had.  “Your Father and I were out to lunch at a fancy restaurant during our breaks from our day jobs.” Mommy said and then Daddy continued “ Your Mother was always craving the most spicy foods on any menu while she was pregnant with you too.  I kept telling her that if she didn’t go into labor first she would end up in the hospital with a heart attack.  She ignored me and did it anyway.  As it turned out you guys were two months early.  That day her water broke outside the restaurant outside in the patio.”  Then Mommy “The head waiter knew us because we were regulars there and he called for an ambulance right away.  We got to the hospital in all of 30 minutes after that, it wasn’t far from where we were.” Then Daddy continued “I was scared to death we were going to lose you.  I had no idea that there was two of you inside. We got to the room and then the doctors wouldn’t allow me into it, so I sat outside for a short time until I got on the phone with a friend of mine.”  Mommy took over “I was in so much pain I thought I was going to die.  I delivered you first and they told me you weren’t breathing and you were yellow.  They took you out of the room and then the doctor said there was another one and it was a boy.  He was breathing, only he was very small and blue.  His veins were so close to the surface of his skin that you could literally see his blood flowing through them.   I was horrified and shocked all at once.  They weighed him and said that he was only 1 lb 10 oz.  They mentioned when the other nurses came back in that you were 2lbs 15 oz.  The doctors brought you both back into the room together and set you into my arms.  You still yellow and he still blue.  I began crying.  Your Father came in and I introduced you both to him.”  Then Daddy continued “She said Daddy, meet Jennifer and Jordan. I kissed the both of you and we cried for a little while and we were so very happy but yet terrified at the same time.  I begged the hospital staff to allow me to stay the night with the three of you and I was so glad that I did because at some time in the night Jordan passed away.  Your Mommy noticed first and began screaming for the nurses.  You changed colors, he was no longer blue and you were not yellow.  They kept you in an incubator for about two months and then allowed us to take you home when you got to about 6.5 lbs.  Daddy kissed Mommy and then Mommy finished the story.  Although Jordan had passed away, we were very lucky to have been able to share that short amount of time with him.” I said “yeah and it’s different now that he’s been communicating with me for all these years.”  “Yes that’s the amazing part, is we still feel he’s here with us all the time” Daddy said.  I kissed and hugged them and then we all went to bed. 04082011

After we all woke up and got dressed and ate breakfast that was the perfect time to head down to the beach.  I really put on the sun screen pretty thick and I went down there first before Mommy and Daddy.  When I got there I set out my towel and then put up a little beach umbrella to cover my face.  Just then four younger guys walked up to me to talk to me. “Hey Beautiful, how you doing?”  “I’m good thanks. Are you guys from the States?”  “Yeah you?”  “Yes, Las Vegas.” “Cool, we’re visiting from California. Do you surf?”  “No, I don’t but I respect the sport.” “We’re going to be getting a Volley Ball game together in a bit if you’re interested in joining us.  You can find us over there at the nets.” “Cool thanks” I said with a friendly smile.  I slowly put on my sun glasses and then pulled a book that I was reading out of my beach bag and laid down to read it.  Just then this shadow came over me and I stopped reading to look up and see who it was. “Hey, how are you?”  I said “I’m doing great thanks.”  “My name is Corey, what’s yours?”  “I’m Jennifer.” “So nice to meet you Jennifer. You ever think about becoming a Super Model?” “Not really that line of work really isn’t my style.” “Do you mind if I join you?” “I can’t really stop you now could I?”  I smiled at him and he was smiling at me.  He had blond curly hair, with these big blue captivating eyes.  Long eye lashes, and his lips and mouth were larger than normal. His voice was deep, and very hypnotic.  We spoke about our homes and family and school.  Also where we had planned to attend College after High School.  Just then my parents showed up and introduced themselves to him, and joined us.  “So Corey are you here alone or have you come with someone?”  “Oh no, my parents are tennis professionals so they are here for a tournament. It’s not really my thing, I’m more into golf.” Mommy asked, “What are their names? Perhaps I’ve heard of them.” “Janice and Frederick Nicholson.” “Oh yes we know about them.  Darcy here is a huge fan of Frederick and I am of Janice.”  “Oh wow that’s really cool. After this we’re headed to Monaco, then Genova.”  “We’re leaving today for Monaco.  We have a vacation rental there that we’re staying at for a Month” Mommy said.  “Hey you have any plans for lunch Corey?”  Daddy asked.  “No, not yet.”  “Would you care to join us?”  Mommy asked.  “I think that’s up to Miss Jennifer, if she will have me I would love to.”  That made me blush and I responded shyly “Yes.” He grabbed my hand and we ran out to the water and began splashing and playing together.  04092011

Once back to the blankets we toweled off and Mommy said “I’m getting hungry, shall we go change and meet back up together somewhere?”  Corey said “Yes, lets meet back here in about 30 minutes or so, would that work?” Daddy said “Yep not a problem, and lunch is on us.”   “Sounds great see you in a bit.” I watched him jog off and his body was hard, firm and fit. Mommy said “He’s quit a gentlemen, I like him.”  Then Daddy said “I think he would fit in quit nicely.”  “Oh God you guys, don’t marry me off just yet.  I barley know him.”  We all hugged and laughed while we walked back to the hotel to shower and change.  Once back at the beach walkway, Corey came walking up in tight blue jeans, a dress shirt and dark blue converse sneakers. “Hey” he said.  “Hi, are you ready?”  “Yes.”  “Okay lets walk into town and see what we can find” Daddy said.  As we walked Daddy took his arm and put it around Corey’s shoulders and they walked ahead of us and talked. “Your Father doesn’t ever take to anyone who might be remotely interested in you.”  “I know, what’s that about?”  “I think he knows a good quality young man when he see’s one.”  “Mommy would you guys please stop it. That sort of talk is freaking me out.” “Okay, OKAY! Sorry. Well excuse me for living. Stop the World and I’ll get off!”  She pinched me and we laughed because that was something the three of us say often.  “I don’t want this to sound too crazy but do you guys know that you are constantly being followed around by a ghost? A young man about my age.  He resembles you a lot.”  Corey said to Daddy.  They stopped walked and Daddy got a serious look on his face as he turned and looked back at us. “I’m sorry, perhaps I shouldn’t have said anything.”  “What’s going on?” Mommy asked.  Daddy cleared his throat and said “Corey can see Jordy!”  We all were shocked and wondered how? I asked him “Is he my age?  What does he look like?” “Um, he’s our age and he looks like a younger version of your Father here.” Mommy quickly covered her mouth with her hand and began crying.  Daddy walked to her and hugged her.  I passed them and took Corey by the arm and we continued to walk ahead of them.  “He’s my twin brother and he passed away less than a day after we were born. The thing is he talks to me and I can hear him but I have never ever been able to see him. I just sense when he’s around.”  “He seems really nice he’s the one who found me and then he coached me into come and talk to you at the beach.” 04092011

We found a nice restaurant to eat at for lunch and we went inside and sat down. After we ordered the conversation was barley active between us.  Then Corey said “Jordan and I have been friends for a long time.  He found me and has been like a guardian Angel to me ever since.  Me being here was just a coincidence that he was all too happy about once he found out.  I didn’t know up until right before he talked me into talking to you at the beach.”  “How old were you when you met?” Mommy asked.  “I was five.” The family knew what this meant.  I knew what this meant. I closed my eyes and then I channeled my thoughts to Jordan.  “Hey Bub, do you like him?”  “Yes Sis, I really do. I know you will too. Same goes for Mommy and Daddy.” His voice came through inside my mind. I opened my eyes and smiled at Corey.  He set his hand on top of mine at the table and smiled back at me. “ Lunch was delicious, thank you.”  “Oh it’s our pleasure.” Both Mommy and Daddy said.  “Okay what’s next?” I asked.  “Well we have to get ready to go to Monaco. Good Bye Corey it was a pleasure meeting you and I get the feeling that somehow somewhere we will meet again.” Mommy said and walked out to the street.  Daddy shook his hand firmly and said “Good meeting you Son.” He winked, smiled and followed Mommy’s lead outside.  “Well, I suppose this is Goodbye.”  Corey said.  I replied “I don’t like Goodbye’s. How about we just say farewell until next time.”  “Farewell until next time.” He kissed my hand and then walked out.  I grabbed my purse and walked out to my folks and we went back to the hotel and packed up, then caught the cab to take us to the train station.  04092011

I got on the train and sat next to the window. I could hear Jordan trying to talk to me but I blocked him out.  I was a little irritated about what part he was playing in my destiny between Corey and I.  Here I thought it was fate working in my favor naturally.  I said to him “Jordan, don’t ever do anything like that again, okay!? I really don’t like it.” He said “I’m sorry. I won’t. Please forgive me. If you meet him again just know it had nothing to do with me!”  “That’s fine!”  Mommy and Daddy were in the seat across from me and hugging. Then Mommy said “Why can’t we see him? I would love to be able to see him and talk to him.”  Then Daddy said “Honey, there’s reasons for everything and sometimes we just aren’t supposed to know them.”  Suddenly Jordan became visible to me.  He was a little transparent but I knew it was him.  I quickly sat up and said “Mommy?”  She looked over at me and then saw him too.  “You see him?”  Daddy answered “I sure do! Hey Son!”  “Hi Daddy, Mommy.” He smiled and then he looked over at me.  “Do I look anything like you had imagined?” “Yes exactly, to the t.” I replied.  “This is a lot of work and energy for me to do this.  The only reason that Corey can see me full time is that he has a special gift. It’s something that runs in his family and passed down every other generation.  His Grandfather used to have the gift before him.  “Does his parents know?” I asked.  “Only his Mother. His Father doesn’t believe in God or the Afterlife.”  We finished the train ride talking about anything that came to our minds and our parents were asking as many questions as they could before the visit ended. 04092011

The train got us to our destination and Mommy and Daddy were emotionally drained from the visit with Jordan.  We got into a cab and were driven to the rental property. The driver helped us load the luggage into the house and then he left. I ran upstairs to find a room with a connecting balcony.  Once inside I dropped the luggage and threw myself onto the bed.  Just then my cell phone rang.  I answered it “Hello?”  “Hi, is this Jennifer Sparrow?”  “Yes it is, how may I help you?” “This is Inspector Jon Pierre Terril.  The reason I am calling you is that a good friend of mine has given me your name with the hope that you might be able to help me with this case that I am currently working.  It been a very difficult case to crack and I believe you might be our only hope.”  “That’s fine could you meet me here at our house? It’s the Villa, Cap d'Ail do you know it?”  “Yes I will be there in one hour. Thank you.” I hung up the phone and then ran down stairs to tell Mommy and Daddy about the phone call.  They were sitting on the chase lounges drinking wine. 04102011

An hour passed and the doorbell rang.  “I’ll get it!”  I ran from upstairs to the door and opened it.  “Hi!”  “Hello, you must be Jennifer.  I’m Inspector Terril.” “Nice to meet you. Please won’t you come in?” “Thank you.” He had with him a black leather briefcase, and he set it on its side as he sat down at the table.  He pulled out a file and then slid it to me.  I opened it and saw seven beautiful young girls all resembling one another in one way or another.  He said “These girls are all missing and I haven’t been able to crack the case.  I was hoping that perhaps you could shed some light into it.” “I called for Jordy. He showed up but he wasn’t visible to me. “Hey what’s up Sissy?”  “Please take a look at these photos and see if you can locate any of them for me and then get back to me.  He said “Got it.”  Then he left.  “That’s it?”  The inspector asked.  “Yes he will be back in just a second with anything he discovers.  Jordy came back but he was a little disturbed with what he found out.  He was breathing heavy which I couldn’t understand because ghosts or spirits didn’t need to.  “Jordan? Why are you doing that?”  “Her said “Oh it’s a natural reaction to what I saw.” “What was it?”  “Well not all of the girls were there but three are.  They are in a warehouse in the center of the city. Two are tied to the wall by their hands and feet and one is strapped to a table that looks like some sort of Autopsy table. She’s been tortured pretty badly and I am afraid she’s not going to make it if they don’t get to her soon.” He gave me the address and I wrote it out on a blank note pad with the pen the inspector gave me and then slid it to him. “Hurry before you’re too late!” “Thank you very much! ” He ran out and got on the phone and called in the address and then sped away to meet there.  04102011

Jordan said “I’m going to see what happens,  I will be back in a little bit.”  I was just sitting at the table thinking about all those girls and how we were just around the same ages.  Mommy came in and sat down. “Well how was the meeting?”  “Mommy, there were so many young girls missing.  It really is frightening.” “I know honey, good thing you have Jordy to look out for you.”  “Yeah me too!” Daddy came down the stairs and asked “Are we going to just chill here today and relax?”  “Yeah I was thinking about BBQ out on the balcony this afternoon.”  “Mmmm sounds good to me.”  Just then Jordan came in and said to me “They found the girls and they are okay.  I found all but two.”  I got a pen and paper and wrote down everything Jordy told me. “I’m going to try to find the last two. Be back later.”  I telephoned the inspector and read my notes to him over the phone.  He thanked me and then hung up.  “Jordan located 5 out of the 7 girls still alive.”  “Oh Thank God!” Mommy said.  “He said he’s going to go look for the last two and he would check in with me later.”  Daddy kissed me on the forehead and said “You kids are Beautiful!” 04102011

Jordan came back and he was a little disturbed. “The other two girls are dead.  He raped and murdered them.  I found him and he’s really screwed up on drugs and alcohol right now so if they hurry they can catch him.  Also I found the evidence to convict him so write this all down.”  I wrote everything Jordan told me down and then I called the inspector again.  He thanked me so much. “I’m just so sorry we couldn’t save the last two girls.”  “Let’s just get that bastard and then call it a day!” I hung up and then went to the balcony to see my parents.  “Jordan said the last two girls didn’t make it but he’s located the killer and the evidence to convict him.”  “Oh that’s good news. Get him off the streets.” After lunch I turned on the local news and they reported the whole case.  The killer looked extremely frightening.  He had black eyes and black hair and a scar across his face from his brow to his chin.   At one point, he looked into  the camera and it looked like he was looking right at me.  I gasped and dropped the remote control on the floor.  I hurried to pick it up and then I turned off the tv.  04102011

That feeling I had was horrifying.  I got up and searched for Mommy and I found her on the balcony with Daddy.  I hugged her crying and she hugged me back then she sat me down and asked me what was the matter.  I told her what just happened and they both group hugged me.  Just then Jordan appeared and this time we all could see him.  “That man is dangerous.  I saw some of the things he did and nobody should ever have to experience those sorts of nightmares.  Thank goodness you were asked to be on the case Sissy. I told him what happened with the TV and he assured me that that man would never ever harm another human being as long as he was alive. “You see we can’t get involved unless we are asked by the living.  That’s one of many rules. Since you always ask me it makes it okay.”  He couldn’t stay long, so he said “I love you Dad,Mom, Sis………..” and then faded away.  04102011

We shared lunch and then after lunch there was a knock on the door.  I ran to the door to answer it and it was Corey.  “Wow, how did you find us?”  “I have my connections, but it wasn’t your brother.”  “Please come in.  We just finished lunch are you hungry, did you eat?”  “I didn’t I would love a snack.”  “Hey guess who’s here…”  We walked out to the balcony and Mommy and Daddy were pleasantly surprised to see Corey. “Hello again.  I was just popping in to say hi.” “That sounds so sweet. How nice of you to think of us” mommy said. “Here Son have some BBQ.”  “Thanks so much.”  We sat down at the table and just talked.  After Corey ate he asked my parents if he could ask me out.  They said sure if I wanted to.  “Would you like to go to the movies with me tonight?”  “I‘m not going to burden you with a bunch of rules because you are seventeen and soon to be a legal adult” Mommy said “One promise though Son, you don’t let her out of your sight” Daddy ordered.  “NO, not at all.”  We hugged and kissed goodbye and left as I grabbed a sweater on the way out.  “Oh wow nice ride. Is this yours?”  “Yep she goes everywhere I go. 2011 Chevy Comaro convertible.”  The car is beautiful I have to admit. It was Burgundy with black racing stripes and fully loaded.  “You mean you have it shipped with you when you travel?”  “Yes I have it sent ahead while I am traveling abroad.” “Aren’t you ever worried something bad could happen to it in shipping?  That would totally creep me out.”  “Nah, the company my Dad calls on have been exquisite! They could ship ten billion eggs and deliver every one of them unharmed.” I was really starting to pay closer attention to Corey’s mouth, voice, and facial expressions while he spoke.  It was so beautiful to see.  041102011

He cruised the streets with the top down and the Beach boys playing on the stereo.  “Sounds great huh? It’s the top of the line Bose sound system for cars.  I wouldn’t have anything else.” “It’s amazing.  I will have to look into this for my car.” “What kind of car do you drive?”  “Oh I drive my parents cars but I am getting my own when we gat back home.” “Is there anything specific you have in mind that you wanted to watch at the movies?” “No surprise me.” We pulled into a covered parking lot then parked.  He raised the top and latched it down. Corey ran around the car and opened the door for me and then he locked up.  He held my hand in the elevator and then out on the street.  We walked a short ways and on the corner was the movie theater. “Don’t worry they show them in English.” He ordered the tickets but I didn’t catch what he said. He put his arm around me as we walked into the Theater and he handed the door man our tickets.  He ripped them smiled then said “Theater seven.”   “Merci” Corey said.  We walked to Theater door number seven and before we walked in he asked if there was anything that I needed from the concessions.  I said “Not right now I’m good thanks.” I chose a seat closer to the front but in the middle. We sat down and then watched the movie.  He held my hand through out the whole movie and he was a perfect gentlemen.  After the movie ended he asked me “Are you hungry?  Would you like some coffee?”  “I would love some coffee!”   “Cool, I know this great spot up the street.”  We walked down the street and talked about the movie. Once at the coffee shop I could tell it was a primo spot because I smelled the aromas of the beans and foods they were serving out front of the building.  I was getting really excited.  Inside the place was filled with bistro tables with only two chairs per table. We sat at a window table and a server came and asked us for our order.  “What could I get you two?”  “I’ll take a double non fat latte with a biscotti.”  “I’ll have the same thanks.”  In no time at all the drinks and biscotti were served to us.  A couple stopped at the table and began talking to Corey.  “Jennifer this is Dean and Bonnie some friends of mine visiting from the States.”  “OH really where?”  “We’re from West Virginia. You?”  “I’m from Las Vegas.” “Oh cool, we’re dying to visit there soon.”  “Look me up when you do.” “Sounds great talk to you guys later have fun.”  They walked out and I asked “How long have you known them?”  “I met them years ago through my cousins when I was visiting one Summer.”  We shared conversation while we ate our biscotti and sipped our coffee. Afterwards Corey drove me home.  Before he let me out of the car he kissed me.  It was a soft, delicate but warm kiss. In the middle of it I began to kiss him back. Once I pulled away I could tell my heart rate was elevated. “I guess I will see you around?”  He said “I was hoping to call on you again tomorrow for brunch. Would you happen to be free?”  “Oh let me check my date book and I will get back to you.”  He smiled and pulled me in for one more long kiss goodbye.  He jumped out and let me out and walked me to the front door and kissed me again.  “Good night sweet darling.”  I said “Good night, and thanks.”  Then I walked inside.  I could sense Jordan was with me. He said  Hey he’s pretty cool right?  “Yes Jordy, he’s really cool.” I knew he would be perfect for you, so don’t screw this up! “Oh brother, don’t you have someone to haunt?” We both laughed and I walked upstairs to see my parents. The house seemed dark, and I was turning on lights as I went along.  I came to their bedroom door and it was opened just a little bit.  I was thinking why is it so quiet and why aren’t any lights on.  Before I turned on  the light at the door, I stepped in and tripped on sometime on the floor.  I hurried back to my feet and turned on the light.  I was horrified by what I saw.  There was broken lamps and turned over end tables.  Clothes and belongings scattered everywhere.  Floral vases smashed into thousands of pieces everywhere. I was beginning to feel nocuous. I just wanted to throw up. My whole body began to tremble more and more with each step closer to the master bathroom.  I saw blood now it was a puddle and then from the puddle there were two thick streaks every so often heading to the bathroom.  I turned on the switch and there were my parents.  Mommy was on Daddy who was leaning over the edge of the bath tub bleeding, and shivering.  I got on my cell phone and called the inspector right away.  I was crying hysterically and trying to stop the bleeding on both of them.  Hello? Inspector?  Please hurry. It looks like Mommy had her throat slit and Daddy was shot a few times.  Please send help. HELP US!”  I hung up and threw the phone on the bed.  I grabbed a towel and ripped it into pieces and held the wound on Mommy’s neck.  She kept trying to talk to me but every word was muffled by blood coming out of her mouth.  “SSsssshhh Mommy stop it. Don’t talk.  Daddy hold on please, help is on the way.”  People rushed in quickly with gurneys and hauled them off in the ambulance to the hospital.  I jumped into the ambulance and held both their hands as we rushed off to the local hospital.  Once inside they took both of them to separate rooms and wouldn’t allow me inside either of them.  I sat outside the rooms on a bench all alone and just wept in my hands.  Then it occurred on me that Jordan wasn’t there to help them.  I got furious and called him.  He arrived and was so upset. He said I was with you not them at the time.  I had no idea!  “So what’s going on then?”  He said The doctors say Mommy will pull through but Daddy lost way too much blood.  I couldn’t stop crying.  I was so upset.  I wanted to run outside and just throw my hands up into the air and scream as loud as I could at the World.  The doctors walked out and asked me if I wanted to say my goodbyes to my Daddy.  I was taken into his room and I said “Daddy, I love you. Please look out for Mommy.”  I kissed him and then he stopped breathing and passed away.  04102011

I began to panic as I was realizing my Daddy was gone and needed to be buried and Mommy was in the hospital in critical condition and I couldn’t leave her side.  The doctors set me down and gave me something to calm me down that was for anxieties.  I left my phone at the villa on the bed so I couldn’t call anyone to come help me.  I felt so helpless and out of control.  I just sat there that whole night until the morning just crying and sobbing.  Every drop of energy was used up and I could barely walk or talk come morning.  The nurses and doctors were so nice to me.  They kept me hydrated and fed and asked me if there was anything that they could do for me?  I said “I don’t know.”  I really couldn’t mentally handle anything right now. Jordan kept coming to me and telling me Daddy was doing fine and prepping for his tasks on the other side. I got pissed off and told his to just shut the fuck up for a few days.  I realized later that it really hurt his feelings so I apologized.04102011

 I was at the Villa making arrangements for my Daddy to be sent home ahead of us at the Mortuary, and just then all four of my Grandparents walked in together.  I hung up the phone and ran over to them and I hugged them and just sobbed in their arms.  “Don’t you worry honey we will take care of everything from here on out.  You just need to concentrate on getting your Mommy well and back on her feet again.  We will take Daddy home and bury him on the family plot next to his other family and your other Grandparents will stay here with you to look after your Mommy.  My throat hurt to talk.  I tried so hard to say thank you but it felt like my vocal chords were being struck with razor blades with every breath. My ears began to ring, my jaw was trembling and then my teeth began hurting.  04102011

Gertie walked in and she said “Oh baby I am so sorry.”  She hugged and kissed me too.  “I am here to tend to you while your Mommy is recovering. We are going to get through this together my darling girl.”  I said “Oh Gertie”  then whispering “Thank you, thank you for coming.” Noni and Papi were what I called my Daddy’s parents they left right away to the hospital to see Mommy and find out where Daddy’s body was being stored.  Grand and Gram were what I called my Mommies they stayed with us until Gertie was settled in and then they left to see Mommy too. Gertie made me some tea and sat down on the couch beside me. She said “How is Jordan taking all this?”  I looked at her like she was crazy.  “What do you mean? He’s with the dead not the living.” “Jennifer, that’s a terrible thing to say you take those words back and apologize right this instant!”  “I’m sorry I think I blame him for not preventing this from happening.”  “It’s not his fault, he was with you and living vicariously though your happiness. When is that a sin!?” “It’s not I know, I’m just stupid.”  “No, you’re not stupid, you just aren’t thinking clearly.”  She hugged and kissed me and I managed to fall asleep in her arms.  04102011

I woke up to a house filled with people talking and commotion.  I put on my robe and slippers and went down stairs to see what it all was.  I was so surprised to see Mommy out of the hospital and bandaged up and walking.  She had a chalk board and would write on it: Can not use the vocal chords for a while so this is how we do it. I hugged her and kissed her and never wanted to let her go ever again.  Gertie came out of the kitchen holding trays of prepared foods, and behind her was Corey, His Mother, his Father, and that couple we met at the coffee shop Dean and Bonnie.  Also was all four my Grandparents. “Honey we’re heading home to our house today with your Daddy. You and Mommy will stay here until she’s given the okay to travel” Papi said. Noni continued “Then you guys have to stay with us for a while.  I insist!” I sat down at the table and Corey introduced his parents to me.  “Jennifer this is my Father Frederick  Nicholson and this is my Mother Janice.” “So very nice to meet you both. I just wish it could have been under more happy circumstances.”  “We are both so sorry for your families loss and hope if that is you need help with anything that you wouldn’t be afraid to ask” his Mother said so kindly with a smile.  At that moment she extended her hand out to mine and took it and then she kissed it.  I felt honored and loved instantly. “Thank you” I whispered. Then I looked at Mommy and she was smiling.  “Let’s eat” Gertie said.  04102011

Corey came to sit beside me.  He wouldn’t let me out of his sight from that moment forward.  It was like he took it upon himself to become my personal chaperone. I didn’t mind though because I really enjoyed everything about him.  His parents would stop in every day in between their tennis tournaments and training.  Grand and Gram left back to the states to attend Daddy’s funeral with my other Grand parents.  They sent it to us on the internet live via satellite.  Mommy and I hugged, and huddles closely through out the whole service. It was better to be there with each other in private than to be outside with all those people we both agreed.   Jordan was there too sitting beside us.  He never said a word he just sat there and watched.  We fell asleep together on top of the bed that night and hardly moved a bit. In the morning, I was woken by Mommy taking her shower.  I got on my robe and went downstairs.  Both Gertie and Corey were cooking together.  “Gertie, you’re not our Chef.  Corey what are you doing? Did you move in or something?”  He laughed and asked “Are you inviting me to move in?”  Just then Mommy came down and was hitting her chalk board with a stick of chalk. I looked at it and it said: NO, you’re both way too young.  We all got a good laugh while we ate breakfast.  Mommy had to have  special type of breakfast that was mostly like mashed up foods sort of like baby food. 04102011

The weeks passed and by the seventh week Mommy was able to have the bandages removed and then discuss her options for plastic surgery.  By this point in time we were just wanting to get back to the States.  We packed up and said our goodbyes and left for Las Vegas.  Once there Mommy cleared out the house. She sold everything and put the house up for sale.  We got into our cars, I drove Daddy’s and I followed her to my Grand and Gram’s country estate in Wyoming.   My Mom’s parents were cattle ranchers in Casper Wyoming.  They had a thousand acre ranch where they have been living all their lives. I loved to visit them but I never thought we would ever be coming to live with them.  We drove thirteen hours and 30 minutes to the ranch not stopping to rest, only to gas up and get food and take a potty break or two.  Once there it was dark and all I wanted to do was go to bed.  I said hi and asked where my room was.  They had added rooms, and redone the barns and stalls, and stables, and build more buildings onto the property for the work hands and it was crazy huge there.  Everything seemed newly remodeled.  I kissed and hugged each of them and went right to bed.  The room I was given had its own master bathroom and a fireplace in it.  The bed was so big ten people could sleep in it with me. I got into my pajamas and fell fast asleep.  04102011

The sun shined through the windows sheen coverings onto my face and woke me up.  I looked over at the night stand where a digital clock was and it said 6:30 AM.  I had slept eight and a half uninterrupted hours.   I walked into the shower.  Showered, dressed, pulled my hair up into a pony tail and walked out with out any makeup on.  I could smell food cooking so I followed the smell into the kitchen.  I was surprised to see Gertie there cooking beside Gram.  “Gertie!? What are you doing here?”  “Well honey remember when you told me I wasn’t the cook? Well Gram realized she needed one and called me to come work for her.  When I realized I would be with you, how could I refuse?”  She set a plate filled with food in front of me while Gram poured me a cup of coffee and a glass of orange juice.  Just then Grand walked in with a few strong ranch hands and they sat down too.  Mommy came in and pulled out the chair right beside me and sat down.  “Good Morning Baby.”  Her voice was not the same it seemed a little scratchy and shaky.  I kissed and hugged her and then I began to eat my breakfast.  I was eating my bacon and then I looked across the table and saw this really scruffy man sitting across the table from me.  He hadn’t shaved in weeks.  His hair was stuck to his head and his face was a little dirty.  I thought to myself, God couldn’t he have at least cleaned up before he came to breakfast? What a disgusting pig!  Then he said “Could you pass me the sugar?” I dropped my bacon back onto the plate and just glared at him. He said “Honey, the sugar please.”  Mommy slid it over towards him and then she asked if I was okay?  I said “Um, who are you?” He smiled and said “My name is Cameron Miss.”  Just then Corey came in and sat down beside this guy.  “Identical twins? Corey why didn’t you tell me you had an identical twin?”  “Well just look at him.  He’s disgusting, why would I want to claim him?” Cameron slugged Corey on his arm and then Corey laughs rubbing it really fast.  “Ouch, stop that. Just playing.  Yeah he’s my twin brother and he’s been working for your Grand and Gram for the past five years now.”  I was shocked and feeling a little weirded out about it.  While I ate though it made sense.  That was how Jordan met Corey and Cameron must have been his other connections when he came to find us in Monaco.  “Has it been that long since I visited Gram?”   “Yes honey I’m afraid so.” Grand said “Corey isn’t around much.  Cameron came at the perfect time for me to get the help I needed to run this ranch.  He’s my lead man.”  He spoke up while he took a bite off his toast “The Foreman.”  I just smiled a little and then gave Corey a smirk of a smile. 04102011

After breakfast I sat on the front porch in the hanging bench swing and just took in the whole view.  It was fascinating how much acreage and open area there was.  I was seeing rolling hills and beyond them were rows and rows of thick pine tree forests. The opposite direction there was flat valleys of grazing fields for Grands cattle, and live stock.  Jordan appeared sitting beside me on the swing.  Hey he said.  “Hi” I replied. I have been busy with Dad. “Oh I was wondering if that’s what you were doing. Please tell me he’s okay.” Oh yeah, he’s good.  He’s saddened that he’s not alive with you and Mom but he’s really getting used to this and he’s been a really big comfort to me. “Hhhmm isn’t that nice.” “Isn’t what nice?” Corey asked as he came out the screen door and sat down beside me on the swing.  “Oh nothing I was thinking about something out loud is all.”  “I wanted to talk to you about school. We have one year left.  What I wanted to know is if it would be alright if I we finished it together at the same school?”  “UGH! It is getting close isn’t it?”  “Yeah there’s a great school here in Casper, and it’s not that bad.  I could drive you to and from school while we are attending.  It’s only for a year.”  I hugged him and pulled him into me and then whispered in his ear “I would really like that.”  04102011

We sat there and looked at the panoramic views.  I was thinking to myself about the incident and my Daddy and my Mommy.  The thought crossed my mind, had anyone every caught the people who did it?  I was afraid to ask Mommy.  I closed my eyes and I mentally called back Jordan.  I thought to him “Hey Jordy, did they catch the killer?” Do you mean Daddy’s killer? “Yeah who ever did that?”  Yes Daddy took care of the both of them! “What does that mean?”  He made sure they could never ever do anything to any other living being again.  That’s all I can say. I got to go, I love you… bye. “Bye”  I opened my eyes and then Mommy and Gram walked out of the house with Gerdie.  “We’re taking a drive out to the market.  Do you kids need us to pick up anything for you?”  “No not me.”  “We’re good thanks.”  Mommy came up and kissed me and then they all piled into the car and drove down the big dirt driveway.  04102011

“Your Mom’s scar is healing up nicely.”  “Yeah the doctors at first thought that she would need plastic surgery but now they say it’s not necessary.” “You know my folks are finishing up the tour in a few weeks for the Season so they are thinking about purchasing some property nearby for us boys to visit when we want.”  “That would be nice.  Family is the most important thing in life, well and friends too.”  “I’d like some more coffee. You want some?”  “Yeah sure, thanks” I got up and then went inside. A fresh pot was brewed so I got us both two new mugs and filled them.  I sprinkled cinnamon in mine and then walked back out to the front porch.  There in the swing next to Corey was Cameron.  He had cleaned up nicely and was looking more like his brother.  “Well would you look at you all clean shaven and proper and respectful looking.”  I smiled while I handed Corey his coffee. “I didn’t know you were out here would you like a cup?”  “Yes Ma’am, it sure would be nice.”  I handed him mine and went back inside to get me another one.  I came back out and sat down beside Corey.  Then Cameron said “Corey here tells me that you were a twin.”  “Yes but he died the day after we were born.”  He whispered to Corey “is she talking about Jordan?” “Yes”  “Wait” I said “You know Jordan?”  “Oh yeah we both can see and talk to him.  He’s our bud.” I got really frustrated and irritated and stood up with my mug in my hand and said “How is that he talks to you and you can see him and I’m his twin sister and I can’t!?” Corey grabbed my hand and pulled me back into sit beside him.  “It’s not our fault we can see and hear him. We can’t answer that because we don’t know why.  It just is. For some reason we can and that’s that!” “Believe me, in the past there were sometimes when we both wished we’d not been able to hear or see him” Cameron said. Corey hit Cameron after he said that. “Now that Daddy is with him I barely hear from him anymore.”  “Us either.”  I sipped my coffee and tried to forget about it. 04112011

Cameron went back to work on the ranch with Grand and the crew.  I decided to take my horse for a ride. I geared him up and then hopped on him and ran the shit out of him.  Before I knew it I was a good five miles out. I came up to an area where I hadn’t ridden before and so I slowed down and just trotted to take in the views.  Just then another horse rode up beside me. It was Cameron.  “Hey, you okay out here?”  “Yeah, I’m just trying to blow off a little steam is all.”  “Well I know a pretty nice trial ride not too far from here and it will take us back around the property to the Ranch if you’re up to it.”  “I’ve been riding all my life I think I can handle it!”  He said “Good, then try and keep up! HA!” He hollered to his horse and took off down the trail.  I said “Hiyah!” and sped off  to catch him.   We raced neck to neck with our horses trying to out run each other.  Then he slowed down just before we entered a highly wooded area with the trail running right through the middle.  I slowed down and then stopped beside him.  “Why’d we stop here?”  “These woods aren’t hardly every bothered by anyone. I’m thinking because of that reason we should go slow.”  “Okay I will be right behind you.”  We trotted the rest of the way and wound up out of the thick of the woods and back into the open fields.  That’s when I slapped my horses butt with the reigns and raced off passed Cameron.  Just as I pulled up to the stables I saw Corey come out of the house and walk over to me.  He gave me his hand off the horse and Cameron came up right beside us.  “Thanks for the ride it was great.”  Then he rode off into the fields again.  04112011

One of the Ranch hands came over and took my horse from me to take care of cleaning him up and putting him away. “Thank you very much.”  “Oh it’s my pleasure Miss.” “So how would you like to take a drive into town with me and have lunch?”  “That sounds great but first I’d like to change and freshen up, if that’s ok?”  “Yeah that’s fine.”  I met Corey back out front when we were ready to go. Just then Cameron ran over and asked “Where you two headed?”  “Just into town for some lunch.” “You mind if I catch a ride?  I have to pick up my car it’s just in from Mom and Dad’s place.”  “Yeah sure hop in.” He hopped in over the car door and landed into the back seat then buckled up.  I buckled up too and we left.  As we were pulling out the ranch gates Mom and Gram returned and waved at us. I waved and blew Mommy a kiss, then she caught it and delicately placed it on her cheek with a great big smile. Corey sped away.  He turned up the music and it was some sort of New Country I hadn’t ever heard before.   He reached over and picked up my hand that I had rested on my leg, and then set them both in between the seats. I noticed he was looking at his twin who was singing his heart out to the song that was playing on the stereo, and then he winked and smiled.  I realized right then and there that they were very close like Jordan and I were.  It was a comforting feeling to me.  I was beginning to think more about Daddy and Jordan and how I was missing them.  04112011

Just as we pulled into town, we came to a stop light and Cameron said “Thanks Kids I will catch ya’ll later.”  Then he hopped out of the car and straightened up his cowboy hat and walked slow and cool down the street.  Corey laughed then said “That’s the other half of me. Could you imagine if we were whole?” I smiled and said “ That’s a pretty huge mystery.”  We went a few blocks then parked the car.  He put the top up and got out of the car and let me out.  I grabbed his hand and got out and he shut the door and set the alarm, and locks.  “This is it.”  He held the door for me and I walked in.  Just as I did there was a young woman who greeted us “Good Afternoon, how you folks doing?”  “Well thanks” I replied.   She walked us over to be seated and then set down the menus and walked away.  “Do you know what you want?”  Just as Corey asked me that his Mom walked up.  “Hi kids, can I get you something to drink?” “yeah Mom, how about some sweet tea?”  “Coming right up.”  She leaned down and kissed him and then brushed her hand across my shoulder as she walked away saying “It’s so nice to see you.”  “Thanks you too.” I continued “When did you Mom start working here?”  He burst out laughing, “My folks own and operate it. We own a few chain of restaurants all over the States.  This is just one of them. “Oh how nice.” I felt a little embarrassed and just then the ice teas came so I picked mine up and washed down the humiliation with it.  “You kids sit here and relax, I am having Dad whip you up something special for lunch. I hope it’s okay.”  “Oh that sounds great, thanks Mrs. Nicholson.”  “Please call me Janice Jennifer.”  I just smiled and sipped more tea.  The greeter came by and set a full fresh pitcher of tea on the table then left. “That’s my little sister Melissa.”  “Wow, thanks for the introduction.”  “Don’t worry I will when she comes back.”   He leaned forward and kissed me on the cheek. I just smiled.  I wasn’t sure what the problem was but I was really feeling a little bitchy.  That’s when I said “I’m really sorry I’m acting like a bitch.”  “No you’re not.”  His Dad, Mom and Sister all came back now and set three hot plates down in front of us.  One had twice backed potatoes on them and the other had BBQ’d hot wings on the other.  The third plate was covered with four scoops of baked beans ,fresh macaroni salad, potato salad, and coleslaw.  “Wow this is a spread. Thank you.”  Just then Corey grabbed his sister’s hand and said Melissa this is my friend Jennifer.  Jennifer I would like you to meet my sister Melissa.”  “Nice to meet you.” “It’s a pleasure.” They said “Enjoy your lunch”and then left us alone.  We shared all the food together and by the time we finished I was feeling so warm and fuzzy inside that the bitchiness just faded away.  04112011

You better not tell anyone!” I said and Corey just laughed.  His Mom came by and asked if there was anything else they could get us? “No Mom were good.”  “Jennifer, we found a house not too far from your Grandparents Ranch.  We’re moving in this weekend.  If you’re free and we’re settled in we’d love to have you over for dinner.”  “You guys cook like this?  I will be there anytime!” She cleared some of the plates for us and smiled.  “So what do you want to do now?”  “I don’t have any plans.”  “I was thinking maybe we could meet up with Cameron and his girlfriend and see what they are up to.”  “Oh, yeah, sure….that’s cool.”  He text right after I said that and then he stood up and slid my chair out from behind me.  “Cool, let’s bolt.” “Bye guys thanks!”  They waved and said goodbye.  We got back into the car and went up a few blocks and then turned down this strange street.  It was lined with brick buildings but they didn’t look like houses or businesses.  They looked more like factories.  “These are the Outlet malls, Penny works here. She’s Cameron’s girlfriend.  She’s very eccentric, to say the least.”  “Nice” I said sarcastically.  04112010

We parked and then went inside of one of the brick buildings.  It was packed with tables, and shelving, and I guessed the store was a clothing, and accessories store.  I hadn’t seen anything like it before.  Just then Cameron ran up and jumped Corey.  Right behind him walked up this thin, medium height girl with jet black hair, thick eye liner and mascara.  Her face looked like she spend hours painting it on in front of a mirror before she left the house.  Bright red lipstick and black painted finger nails.  Her shoes were about five inched high.  I started there and looked up her white spandex wearing legs to a leather miniskirt.  Her blouse was red with fringe and beads.  She walked right up to me and said “Hi I’m Penny Power, you must be Jennifer. I know I’m not much to look at but I can rock it like anyone else can.”  I smiled and took her hand and said “It’s a real pleasure to meet you.”  I held her hand and felt a serge of hot energy come from it.  It traveled from my hand up my arm and then hit both my shoulders.  Just then they lowered, relaxed and I quickly let go of it.  I just gave her a look like what in the hell was that? She smiled and said “You got spirit and soul I like that.”  Instantly Jordan appeared and whispered in my ear There’s something you should know about Penny. Before I could get an answer out of him, she whispered “Należy pójść Ducha.”  He faded away saying something but I couldn’t make out what it was. “What is that you’re whispering some sort of  Czech, Lithuanian or Russian?”  “Close it’s Polish, I studied Polish and then I was an exchange student last year.” “Shall we go?” Cameron asked.  “Yeah lets” Corey replied.  We went to Corey’s car and Cameron and Penny walked to a brand new Chevrolet Corvette.  “Nice car.”  “Thanks.” 04112011

Just as I got into the car I asked Corey “How long have those two been dating?”  “Oh about five years, but she was gone for one of them.” “Jordan was trying to tell me something about her and she spoke something and he faded away. That’s never happened before. Do you know what that’s about?”  “No, but I wouldn’t worry about it. She’s a nice enough gal.  Especially after you get past the outside.”  “Does she get along with your Mom and Sister?”  “Yes, they all love each other.”  Jordan came back and all I could hear him say was Witch, she’s a Witch.  I wanted to ask him something but he faded away again.  I said “Now that makes perfect sense.”  “Huh, what?”  I realized I was thinking out loud and said “Oh nothing sorry. Never mind.”  I wanted to ask Jordan if she was a good witch or a bad witch.  I kept hearing the Glenda the good Witch in the Wizard of Oz asking Dorothy over and over again in my head: Are you a good Witch or a bad Witch?  Corey followed Cameron down a long dirt road and then we came to a huge barn style house.  They parked beside it and both at the same time hopped out of the cars and opened the doors for us ladies.  “Thanks Honey.”  He kissed me and shut the door then he took my hand and led me to the porch.  Just up the steps was a large barn door with metal sliders.  Penny unlocked it, then grabbed the handle and slid it open to one side.  The floor was wood, I walked in behind the guys, and Penny closed the door and locked it.  I looked around and there was a giant fireplace in the center of the floor.  It was circular and there was built in benches all the way around it.  On one wall it was filled with shelves and books, that surrounded the windows.  The other side was a kitchen the whole length of the wall plus a built in wet bar.  The back was a stairway that went to the balcony on both sides.  It looked like all the bedrooms were in rows just behind each door.  “I’m sorry do you have a bathroom I could use?”  “Oh sure follow me.”  She walked towards the stairs and then off to the left were two sets of bathrooms, it looked like a his and hers.  I looked at the door that said hers and said “Thank you.”  Right when I walked in there was a row of sinks with mirrors above them off to one side.  The other side had stalls.  “Man this is weird.  Who builds public rest rooms in their house?”  After I went I washed my hands and then touched up my makeup and lipstick.  I walked out and heard some music playing.  It was some sort of new wave, or punk music.  I hadn’t heard it before. Maybe it was Goth. 04112011

“This place is really cool huh? It used to be the local hunters club and recreation hall before Penny’s folks bought it and converted it into their residence” Cory said. “Ah I was wondering why there were public style bathrooms in it. Now that makes sense.” “Yeah, my folds travel a lot for work so I am usually here by my self.  I don’t mind there’s plenty of things to get into while they are away. Plus I love hanging out with Cameron when he’s not busy on the Ranch.” “Yeah they’re both pretty cute right?” I said to try to get a rise out of them.  They just looked at each other and smiled.  The guys were messing around with the music and the cd’s while Penny and I sat and talked and picked out nail polish from her gigantic collection to redo our toes and nails.    There was a small game, arcade area in the back of the barn.  The guys went off there when they finished picking out the music to play some video games.  Penny asked me about my Daddy and my brother.  I was a little nervous talking about them to her but she seemed so nice and sincere about it.  As I was telling her she asked “Do you want to go visit them?” I looked at her like she was crazy and I thought to myself how sick of a joke is that?  “Yes, I would love to.”  She said “Okay close your eyes and I will talk you into a trance.  Once you get there wait for me and I will be right behind you.”  She began to tell me to relax . Close my eyes, and think about an empty white room.  “White tiles, white walls, white everything. Okay are you there now?”  I answered “Yes.” Then she said “Stay calm and stay there I will be there in just a second.”  She chanted a few words in Polish like she did before and she faded into my view. Hi. She smiled and crabbed my hand.  I said Hi back. Then she said Jordan? Jennifer’s Daddy?  Please come forward we would like to speak to you.  I began to tremble and she held my hand squeezing it snug inside her.  Just then Jordan appeared first then Daddy.  Hi Jennifer, Hey Penny. Jordan said.  Then Daddy said Hi Penny, Hey Baby.  They both came over to me and hugged me.  We hugged for a long time.  Penny just stood off to the side and witnessed it. I pulled away and then asked How do you guys know Penny? Jordan said She’s been a friend of mine for a very long time.  I introduced Daddy to her a few weeks ago. My heart was heavy and my tears were flowing.  I was trying to keep them off my face and also trying to keep my composure. Daddy I need to know what happened and how it happened. Just then couches appeared and we all sat down in them. Mommy and I had finished cleaning up from dinner.  We opened up a bottle of wine and shared it while we were sitting in the reception area of the Villa.  There was a knock on the door and your Mommy got it. I heard her speaking to a Man.  She sounded like there was trouble in her voice so I went to see what and who it was.  Once I got there he pushed his way in with another man.  One had a gun and the other had a large knife.  Instantly he slit your Mommy’s throat.  The guy with the guy shot me. We both fell to the floor while they rummaged through the Villa to rob the place.  I tried to get to my cell phone in the bathroom on the counter and the guy with the gun knocked me into the bathtub and fired his gun at me a couple more times.  I couldn’t move.  I could hear your Mommy scuffling to get to me.  They had left and she somehow managed to get to me and lift me up to her in her arms.  She was bleeding a lot from her neck.  The guys got away.  That’s all I remember.  I was crying and Jordan hugged me and he was crying with me. Daddy is fine here with me.  Don’t worry about him.  Mommy needs you and you need her. We swore we would watch over you and never allow anything like this happen to our family again.  So daddy watched over Mommy and I watch over you. Penny spoke up.  That’s great that you guys are doing that for them.  Not everyone has that kind of beautiful love protecting and looking after them. Then Daddy spoke again The Nicholson’s are good people.  Penny is good people keep them close to you. They are Beautiful. We can’t stay we have to go. I love you very much Baby and I will always love you. He kissed and hugged me and then Jordan kissed and hugged me and they both said Good Bye. They vanished and we returned to our bodies. Corey was holding my hand and asking me “Hey are you okay? You looked spaced out just now.”  “Yeah I’m fine Penny and I were just doing an experiment on hypnosis.”  “How’d that work out for you?”  I looked over at her and she was glowing with brightness and she just winked. “It went perfectly, she’s quit talented.”  “Yeah well Cameron seems to think so,” he jumped up and hit her in the shoulder as he returned to Cameron and the video games.  I said “Thank you so much for doing that for me.  I really needed to know what happened and I can tell you Mommy isn’t ready to talk about it yet.”  “I’m glad I could do it for you. Now let’s finish up here and then see what those boys are up to.” 04122011

“Hey do you guys want to come over for dinner tonight?  We always have plenty of food and plenty of space for company.”  Cameron said “I was going to be there anyways.”  “I know I meant Corey and Penny.”  “Yes thanks that sounds nice”  Penny said.  I helped her clean up the nail polish and we left her place to go to mine.  I hadn’t known it but the boys parents were already there and had been invited to dinner when Gram and Mommy went to town to get groceries.  “Hello  again Mr. & Mrs. Nicholson.”  “Hi Jennifer.  Hello Penny.”  The guys hugged and kissed their parents and then went back outside.  I took Penny up to my room and we sat on my bed. She reached into her purse and said “Here, I don’t use this anymore.  It’s my very first spell book.  I put my own notes into it, to modify the some of those harder to do spells.  Don’t let anyone see it, ever!” I opened it up and flipped through some of the pages.  I was a little amazed by some of the spells.  “Okay it’s safe here with me.”04122011

So beauty truly is in the eyes of the beholder and truly created for the eyes to behold. Back up in the Heavens where Cormac and Jordan Sparrow were, there was a young man just waiting patiently to be born into the family.   He was scheduled and chosen to be the first born son of Jennifer and Corey.  His name was Oliver.  Oliver had the privilege to watch his family since he had been selected to go down to live on earth.  The reason he selected them was because of the honor, love, respect and beauty they each possessed.  All perfect qualities by his standards.  Cormac and Jordan never go anywhere or do anything with out asking him if he wants to come along first.  It wasn’t that they had to or anything but they felt connected with him all though  they hadn’t known him before they arrived back in Heaven.  He was an independent thinker and had an opinion about everything.  Even if you didn’t want to hear about it he was going to tell you anyway. 04132011

Over the course of the next few years, Jennifer had been practicing Magic but hadn’t told anyone but Penny.  Mrs. Sparrow her Mommy reconnected with an old high school friend and they began dating. Cameron asked Penny to marry him and so they got engaged. After graduating high School Jennifer took a years worth of Junior College courses but then dropped out.  Corey continued taking those courses and went on to a local college. Jennifer decided to take her money she had in the bank and open a high end restaurant.  This wasn’t an average place with average foods.  This was a very exquisite and expensive dining experience.  They had live piano and cocktail lounge singers and swing bands playing every night.  The reputation had spread all over so people came from as far away as California and Maine to visit.  This gave the Nicholson’s an idea to open a high end hotel in the town, so that’s exactly what they did.  They also ran a tour business, either by bus or by horse.  The ranch was doing as well as it ever was.  Beef cattle was selling at top dollar.  Darcy also took up organic farming and packaged and sold all fresh herbs.  She became an Herbalist, and helped people with disease. Her boyfriends name was Jim Tanner.   He was the local dentist. They spent most of their free time together helping out on the ranch or just hanging out.  Penny opened up a Mystic store where she offered palm, psychic and tarot card readings.  Every now and then she worked a little of her magic for those who really needed it.  04142011

Corey and Jennifer ran off one night and eloped because they didn’t want Cameron and Penny to get married first.  What Jennifer neglected to mention was that she was already two months pregnant. Finally the time had come. Oliver had said his goodbyes to his family and friends up in Heaven and been sent in to be born.   Jennifer ate healthy, went for walks every day and got plenty of rest.  Gram knew right away Jennifer was pregnant.  She also sensed they had already got married.  She secretly invited all the local friends and family to have a surprise wedding reception. Just as the two came home that evening, and Corey picked her up and carried her over the threshold, the lights came on and everyone screamed “SURPRISE!” 04142011

“Hi everyone. Wow what a great surprise.” Corey said as he walked in and set me down on my feet then he shut the front door behind us.  I whispered “Oh boy, I guess we have to tell them our little secret too.”  “Yeah , but let’s hold off for a few hours.” The place was filled with folding tables decorated in wedding decorations.  “I can see Gram, Mom, and Mrs. Nicholson had a hand in all this food preparations” I said.  “Please honey call me Mom.” Darcy said as she hugged and kissed us both.  Mommy came over and hugged and kissed me, and then she touched my tummy and winked at me.  Corey saw her and then we looked at each other and sort of shrugged our shoulders at one another. Grand grabbed Corey around the shoulder and took him off to have a celebration drink together.  The ladies of the house took me by my arm and sat me down in the front room on the couch.  They all went out of their way to pamper me. “Okay what’s going on? Spit it out!”  “We know you’re expecting. You can thank your Daddy, and twin brother for that.”  “What? Wow, the nerve.”  “Honey don’t be mad at them I made them tell me.  I didn’t give them a choice. You know how I am, I don’t really like to be kept in the dark.”  “Oh ok, Yes, we’re only about 8 weeks along.”  “That’s great a double celebration!” Gram said.  04142011

I all of the sudden was feeling so anxious and a little frustrated with all the attention.  I stood up and said “Excuse me.”  I walked the Ranch looking for Penny.  I found Penny in the barn with Cameron making out in the rafters in bails of hay.  I climbed up the latter and said “Hi, are you guys mad at us?”  “Of course not why would we be?” Cameron asked. “Oh I don’t know I guess because we ran off and got hitched first?”  Penny came over and sat beside me and then put her arm around me.  “We love you just as much as we love ourselves.  We are joyous with you.” She kissed me on the cheek and then said “What’s his name?”  “Wait who’s name?”  “Your babies, it’s going to be a boy.”  “How do you know that?”  “Let’s just say a little birdy told me.”  “Ugh, those ghosts have big mouths!”  “We decided on Oliver, not sure why. It just came to us one night.” “Oliver what?” Cameron asked while hanging and swinging from the rafters. “Oliver Clive Nicholson.”  “I love it, so cute!”  “I’m so glad our last name isn’t Davidson, or his initials would be OCD!” Then Penny said “Yeah but they are OCN Oncology Certified Nurse!” We all laughed and then Corey came into the barn and climbed up the latter to meet us.  “Hi bro, congrads.!” They shook hands in their special handshake and then bumped shoulders and hugged. “Everyone knows about the baby already.” I said to Corey. “I know can’t you tell by all the lipstick on my cheeks?”   He was trying to wipe it off, so Penny took out a single hand wipe and began to wipe all of it off. “I’m excited to be an aunt.”  “Yeah being an Uncle is going to rock!”   “So Bro, are you guys going to have a honeymoon?”  “I can’t until we get a break from school.  I suppose then we will go somewhere, right honey?”  “Yes, I want to go to Hawaii for two weeks.” I said, “But I’m pregnant so I think we will have to postpone it.” “Let’s go inside before they start looking for us.”  We all climbed down and went inside.  Just as soon as we walked in Corey’s Dad and Mom met us at the back door.  “Hey, I have everything arranged for you.  You’re staying at the Hotel honeymoon penthouse for the weekend and there’s a Limo out front ready to take you there when ever you two are needing to plan your escape.” He handed both of us credit card style room keys and an envelope.  “Don’t open this until you both are relaxed and in the room together.” They hugged and kissed us tightly and then returned to the party.  “This is exhausting.” Just as I finished saying that Corey leaned in and wrapped his arms around me and planted the most romantic, and longest wet kiss I had ever had.  “I love you Mrs. Nicholson.” “I love you too Mr. Nicholson.”  We went through the kitchen swinging doors and back out to the party. 04142011

An hour passed and I couldn’t find Corey.  I had a feeling he was with Cameron, and they were up to no good.  I found them up in the attic sharing a bottle of whiskey together.  I said “Dear, could we go now I’m really very tired. I’m sorry. “  “Oh don’t be sorry, yeah I can see this bozo anytime. See you around you bozo.”  We left the attic and went say our goodbyes to everyone else.  I went out the door first and then Corey followed closely behind me saying “Good bye, thank you this was fun.”  The chauffeur opened the door for us and we got in.  He took us into town and then pulled up to the hotel.   We got out and then were escorted to our Honeymoon suite.  Up there, the place was magnificent.  It had a sunken Jacuzzi tub in the center of the room.   Chocolates, champagne, fresh flowers, and even lit candles everywhere. We sat down and enjoyed a little appetizer plate and then he opened up champagne and some sparkling cider and we made a toast together.  “To us and our new family.”  “Cheers” I said.  I sipped and he sipped then he placed his hand on my waste, and began kissing me.  We kissed passionately and romantically made love together.  Then finally I was able to sleep.  04152011

In the morning I woke up to a hot served breakfast out on the veranda overlooking the mountains and countryside. “Good Morning.”  I said as I kissed my new husband. “Good Morning, did you get plenty of rest?”  “Yes it was fantastic.” “Good we have the place for the whole weekend.  Is there anything special that you would like to do today?” “That doesn’t matter to me as long as we’re doing what ever it is together.” “Cool I’d like to chill and take it easy.” I finished breakfast and put the dishes and things back on the server cart.  I climbed back into bed and then turned on the tv.  We rented a movie from cable and watched it together in bed.It was a very relaxing day with out any pressure or stress. 04192011

During the evening though I was really thinking back about how and when Corey and I met.  How my Father and Mother and I were supposed to take our month long vacation in Monaco.  I began to feel sad and I began to cry for him.  He appeared with my twin brother while Corey was taking a nap and they both started talking to me.  They asked me about Oliver, and how I thought he was doing.  I asked How do you guys know Oliver?  He was a young boy in Heaven and we all huge out before he was sent down to be born to you.  Then Daddy said He’s a pretty amazing young man. I know you and your Mommy will absolutely adore him like we do.  Yeah Sissy he’s pretty special.  I miss him since he’s been gone. Corey woke up and they left.   “Honey who are you talking to?”  “Oh my Daddy and Jordy.” “Ah, everything okay with them?”  “Yeah they were telling me about Oliver and how much they love him when he was with them, and that they miss him.”  “Oh Wow! They actually knew each other up there?”  “Yes, and he’s pretty Special so they say.”  I wiped away the tears and then said “What should we do for dinner?”  He kissed me and then said “Leave the details up to me.”  04202011

Just then there was a knock on the door and he jumped up to answer it.  “Hi, come in but you can’t stay.” He said laughingly.  His sister said “UM, ew that’s totally gross bro! Hi Jennifer.” “Oh hey Melissa, Mom & Dad.”  They simply smiled then dropped off the hot food and quickly exited the room.  “Come sit.”  I got up and sat down at the table.  I could smell that some of it was fresh lobster smothered in butter and garlic, but then when he opened up one of lids I could see there was steak covered with sautéed mushrooms and onions.  Then he got two plates and served us two garden salads with my favorite Paul Newman’s Tuscan Organic dressing.  There was lobster, and steak and salad plus this secret dessert that he wasn’t allowing me to see until dinner was over, “Oh wow, everything is so fantastic, thank you honey!”  He carefully opened up the tray’s lid that held the dessert on it and it was two perfectly individual sizes of Molten Chocolate Cake which was one of my very favorite desserts.  “Oh wow, you’ve really outdone yourself my love!”  “I didn’t want to waste such an important night of our lives on simple foods.  We slowly ate our delectable cakes and watched the expressions come over our faces while we did.  After an hour or so he suggested he give me a full body massage, so he set up a table right there in the room and then he had me get on it while I was given a 90 minute massage.  Once the massage was over I was so relaxed. We got into the bath that was filled with bubbles and made love.  I slept perfectly that night.  04212011

The last and final night we had together in the honeymoon suite we just stayed in bed watching movies together and ordered from room service.   I just had a salad but he ordered a full Italian Pasta dinner.  Another perfect nights sleep.  Come morning the limo driver gathered up our luggage then us and took us back to the Ranch.  The whole two families were there plus my Daddy’s family.  I spent the day hanging out with Penny, while Cameron kidnapped Corey and they went fishing.  As time went by I got bigger and bigger in the belly carrying Oliver.  We were only a few weeks away from the doctors estimated due date. I could barely get myself around, so most of the time I just sat out on the front porch in the rocking chair, while my Gram and Mom tended to my every need. It was supper time and I got out of the chair to go inside and that’s when my water broke.  Cameron and Corey along with Penny rushed me into the family SUV and hurried me off into the hospital.   Once there they rushed me up to my room.  It was a pretty simple delivery.  With in 5 hours of labor Oliver was born.  Corey was there through the complete delivery holding my hand and giving me a damp rag over my face and lips. The doctor said “Meet your Son.”  Then he laid him down on my chest.  I looked into his big brown eyes and just felt completely wonderful.  That’s about the time Corey kissed him then me and said “You’re both so very beautiful.” 04222011

They released us from the hospital the next day and Oliver was a very quiet baby.  Not fussy at all. All the Grandparents and our parents couldn’t give him enough attention.  In the evenings Penny would get him alone and surround his crib with herbs, and chant protection spells to him.  I continued to study the spell book she gave me and by the time I finished it for about the fifth time, that’s when I began to memorize everything and practice the spells.  I wasn’t very good at them at all, at first.  She guided me through the tones, and they sayings and pronunciations of the words, with their rhymes.  “The problem I think you are having Sis is that just before you use the spell you have to envision yourself grounded like a tall thick oak tree with deep roots into the ground.  That’s how you draw the power that surrounds you.”  She opened the book to a simple levitation spell and then said “You follow my voice, now imagine a soft grassy knoll with a single tree planted there.  You’re that tree. Begin by imagining that the top of that tree is your head, then the mid section branches are your arms. Put your arms out. Breath slowly in then out and in and out. In through the nose and out through the mouth. Concentrate. Your feet are the roots, and they are dug into the soft top soil first then embedded into the hard soil and rock beds. Keep breathing, now repeat after me:

My feet on solid ground

Where once I was heavy

With the weight of a boulder

Now I am as light as a feather

Gliding into the air

Defying gravity

I repeated them and could feel like I was light and floating.  “That doesn’t rhyme at all.”  Penny laughed and said “Not all spells have to rhyme. Okay open your eyes and look around.”  I opened my eyes and I was hovering above ground just about a foot and a half. “Oh my God, this is incredible!”  Just then I lost my concentration and fell back to the ground on my feet.  “Practice and concentrate. That’s the only advice I can give you.”  04222011

I over did it with the hovering spell because in no time at all I didn’t need to recite the spell anymore and I was hovering over diapers, baby wipes, bottles, and every now and then even Oliver to my chair to breast feed him.  I made sure even with a house filled with people all the time that I was completely alone while I did it. I didn’t know why, I just didn’t want anyone making a big deal out of it.  Before I realized it though my powers must have been rubbing off on Oliver because he was able to call on his rattles, or the tv remote control, and bottles himself.  I got a hold of Penny to ask her about it. She came over to see him do it and then she said, “We could bind his powers if you want, but I really can’t see the point in that.  He’s so small, it’s not like he would hurt himself with anything right now.” Daddy and Jordy popped in often to keep an eye on Oliver.  Every now and then I would catch them hovering over his crib and talking baby talk to him.  It would make him laugh.  04222011

As the years passed Oliver was growing and becoming curious about everything.  He was walking and talking and learning everything about the Ranch from his Father, Uncle and my Grandfather.  Penny and Cameron had been married and they were expecting their first baby.  It was also supposed to be a boy.  I felt the same strange feelings that I was having when I found out I was pregnant with Oliver and so I took a pregnancy test and it came out positive.  I came from out of the bathroom and went back into our room, and then climbed back into bed beside Corey.  “Honey?  We’re having another baby.” Here I was pregnant again and it was Oliver’s his fourth birthday.  “Oliver is going to love that.” “How about Daddy?”  “I’m thrilled! Maybe we should start thinking about getting our own place?”  I told him I would take care of that. We got up and had breakfast with the family and that’s when I broke the news. 04232011

Grandfather and I sat down and we set aside a parcel of land for me and Corey to build our home on it.  He also set another parcel aside for Cameron and Penny to build their house on it right next door to ours.  They went with the traditional ranch style home with the rap around porch.  Both Corey and I were in love with the bungalow style house so we had ours built with a full basement and attic. We had a swimming pool built in our back yard and a full outdoor kitchen and BBQ.  Our fences had gateways connecting to both houses so we could see each other and share the yards. Penny always wanted a tree fort and there was a large Oak tree in their yard so Cameron and Corey both built a full sized, fully equipped tree house inside the tree with a cable, power and even running water. Oliver would spend lots of his time up there just playing with toys and talking to himself. 04242011

Penny was rushed to the hospital early one Monday morning after her water broke.  She gave birth to a healthy baby boy and they named him Kent Ray Nicholson.  They brought him home and settled into their new house.  The family was there to help them out and help take care of the newborn baby.  Oliver was so thrilled to finally see another little, young person in the family that as he saw my belly growing, he became so excited and would ask me “Mommy when is our baby coming? Do we know if it’s a boy or a girl?”  I did know it was a girl not because of any ultrasound but because Daddy and Jordy told me.  They had told me all about her.  Her name is Amanda. They had been conditioning her up in heaven for her birthing into our family.  Summer had ended and fall had arrived and with that season so had Amanda Nicole Nicholson.  She was so beautiful.  Everyone in the family wanted to see her and hold her.  I felt like two children were enough and so I talked to the doctors and Corey about it and I went on birth control pills. Penny laughed and said “We’re not stopping at one.”  04242011

Both Kent and Amanda were growing extraordinarily fast.  It seemed like time got away from us and before we knew it they both were four, and running around with Oliver who now was eight.  Penny was pregnant again and this time with twin girls.  I was happy and content with the two I had.  Oliver was still practicing the craft and trying to teach his baby sister about it when ever I wasn’t paying attention.  My craft had become so advanced that there was very little I couldn’t do in any spell book I read or picked up.  Penny and I were like sisters and spent every day together while our husbands went off to work a full days work and came home to a peaceful and pleasant house.  That year in the Winter I lost both my Grandparents, Daddy’s Mom and Dad in a automobile accident, and my Mom took it really hard because she felt they were her last link and bond to Daddy.  She finally gave in and married our local dentist Jim Tanner.  Then she moved out of the Ranch and in with him.  Penny and I took the children to visit her in town just about every day.  We shared coffee or tea together and watched all the kids playing together in her beautifully park like landscaped backyard.  04242011

Winter was just about over and it was a new year.  I was helping Gram and Grand with the family garden, prepping the soil and space for planting.  I planted all the herbs I could think of. Both Penny and I were using them in our tinctures and spells. What we would do is we would start grow all the herbs by seeds and then after they were adult, we would dry them out and store them in little jars with cork lids.  I managed to talk Corey out of making our basement into his man cave and I built us a Spiritual Wiccan alter.  We had a pentagram set in the floor tiles that were virtually shipped here from all over the world.  Penny and I had the men build wall to wall book shelves and we stored our important library of books there.  Since there wasn’t enough natural light that came in through the windows I had natural gas scones placed around the room just enough to illuminate the full basement and give it that magical ambiance.  A fireplace was put in and that’s where a huge black cauldron was placed.  We only burned a fire with natural and local cut woods.  Spring, and Summer came and went and it was now Fall.  Penny was rushed to the hospital and gave birth to two twin baby girls.  Abigail & Olivia Nicholson.  Oliver was thrilled that one of his twin cousins was named after him.  Penny whispered to me that day “Okay I’m done, no more.”  04242011

Gram and Grand saw to it that the Children were raised with Christian beliefs, and so every Sunday they all would pile up and head to church together.  Penny and I would take the children Sunday evening and light the candles and begin a Wiccan spiritual ceremony and then teach them all about the earth, wind, fire, water, and its very important relationship to us and one another. We also took this time to answer any questions that kids might have and train them in spell practices. “These religions are one and tied in together but, we must keep them separate outside of these walls in order to avoid any conflicts or altercations that might turn out to be seriously harmful to us and our loved ones.”  We said to them. All the children over time seemed to grasp both concepts and managed to be able to keep them separate. 04242011

As time passed and the twins got older, the group of siblings and cousins became very close.  Day in and day out they were always together both at home and at school.  The tree house was converted into their sacred sanctuary and any adults weren’t allowed to enter.  If they had they might not have approved with what was going on inside.  The older kids had mimicked the basement Alter and even carved a pentagram into the wooden floor.  The twins were eight, now while Oliver had just turned 16.  The girls would read as many books as they could and then combined knowledge for different books to form a new usage of old ways and powers.  Oliver was in High School, and he played all sports during every season.  Kent was 12 and Amanda was 9.  Amanda was a cheerleader in middle school.  Kent was not as much as a jock as Oliver but he still played baseball and basketball, and loved them.  The craft was something that was extremely important to everyone in both families and practiced regularly but not really ever discussed or shared between the children and the adults.  The adults assumed the children were practicing and the children thought that their parents hadn’t been too interested in it.  They couldn’t have been more wrong.  The adult twin brothers Cameron and Corey had become masters over the past 16 years and never told anyone.  04252011

The parents had been paying that much attention to the children or what they were doing inside the tree house because they assumed that if they were getting along things had to be fine.  This one particular day, the five children gathered in the club house and began to embark on a new and different kind of experiment.
Abigail and Olivia held hands and began to chant a spell that they wrote.  Kent waved his hands and all the candles lit in the fort.  Oliver along with Amanda chanted in harmony with the twins.   In a split instance they twins vanished into thin air. Oliver asked “Do we have any idea where they went this time?”  Amanda  closed her eyes and took a deep breath then said “I’m not sure but I’m sensing it’s the Medieval times.  I can smell roasted pig, and some sort of mead.” She opened her eyes then explained “That’s what they called beer back then.” “We know ding dong!” Kent said with a sharp attitude.  “Come on you two knock it off!” Oliver commanded.  Just then the candles began to flicker and the tree shook and in an instant the girls returned.  Abigail was in running motion and carrying a rare artifact, and Olivia was yelling “Abigail this is not funny!”  Abigail was cracking up and said “Oh pooh, you’re so drab sometimes Sis!” “Uh, what have you got yourself into this time?” Oliver asked.  “Oh it’s no big deal, I just saw this in a castle cave and I swiped it is all.”  “Yeah but she was seen and the guards were chasing after us.” Olivia whined.  04262011

Kyle waved his arms and closed the port above the pentagram.  “I sealed it so nobody can follow you.”  “Let’s hope so….”  Abigail said.  They both just smirked at one another and then Oliver took the artifact out of Abigail’s hands to examine it.  All of the sudden Amanda fell to the floor and began to go into convulsions.   There as a sound of rattle snake rattles and poof she disappeared. “Ah shit, it happened again! Oliver this isn’t normal and we need to tell our parents!”  “No, we’re not getting them involved this is something we can handle all on our own.”  The twins held hands and began chanting to bring her back.   In that moment Amanda returned only she was soaking wet from head to toe and shivering.  Her complexion was pale and she was trying to talk.  “ssspppiid…” Oliver pulled up her sleeve and there was a large bite on her arm.  It had two puncture holes in the center and a red and swollen mound around them.  Oliver said to Kyle “Kyle, help her!”  Kyle in a huff knelt down and set his hands upon her and then he took a deep breath and he began to tremble.   Sweat was pouring down his forehead and his hair was soaked in it.  He fell to the floor and just shivered while the twins grabbed blankets and wrapped him inside them to help him keep warm.  “Ssssshhhh you’ll be fine just relax.” Olivia said.  Abigail was mad then she said “What happened?” angrily to Amanda. Amanda said “All I know was I disappeared from here and when I reappeared I was standing in a tropical rain forest and before I could think I got bit by a large spider. Then I disappeared and was back here.”   The twins began chanting another spell to speed up Kent’s healing process.   Oliver thought for a moment and then said “Okay maybe we should tell the parents now.”  04262011

“NO we don’t want to. Our Mommy would kill us if she found out.” Olivia said. “No she wouldn’t they can help they know more about this stuff then we do.” Oliver explained.  Kyle sat up and just glared at Amanda. “What?”  Amanda questioned. “The more this happens and when I have to heal you the madder it makes me and I’m really getting sick of it.  You need to fix what’s broken so we can all get on with our lives.  Clearly it’s a magical problem and not an illness or I would be able to heal you!” “Yes, probably but Mom and Dad won’t like it, and I just can’t tell them!” Amanda said “ Let’s just wait and see what happens and if it gets worse I will tell them.”  Oliver agreed but he didn’t like the idea.  Kent was just plain irritated with it.  The twins were worried but didn’t want to say anything. 04272011

Just then Penny yelled out for the kids to come in and eat.  Kent, Abigail and Olivia all got up off the floor and said good bye and then went down the tree ladder to go home. Oliver and Amanda stayed in the tree house to talk.  “Amanda, I know you think this isn‘t that big of a deal but I‘m pretty sure if it happens again and you end up in the wrong place at the wrong time you might not be able to protect yourself.”  She wasn’t thrilled to be having this conversation with her big brother but she knew it was coming. “I know, and I’ve been thinking about counter spells that would zap me back to where I came from if I say them fast enough.”  “That’s not good enough.  Let’s go to the basement library and see if we can figure this out.”  They both climbed down the tree steps and went inside the house.  Jennifer was sitting in a chair in the living room and saw the children come in.  They tried to run right by her with out saying a word but she said “Hey you two, get back in here.”  They froze in their tracks and then stopped to look at each other. Oliver had bit his lower lip while Amanda made a frown.  They both turned around and walked into the living room.  “Come and give Mom a hug and kiss.” Oliver hugged and kissed his Mom first quickly and then ran off down the hall.  Amanda walked up, and then leaned in and hugged her.  Just then she started to kiss her and all of the sudden she began shaking again.  Jennifer grabbed her even tighter and pulled her into her and in that split second they vanished from the living room and then appeared somewhere entirely different.  04272011

The two of them were thrown to the ground in dirt. Amanda got up and looked around.  Jennifer was shocked and irritated at the same time.  She stood up and brushed off the dirt and then before she realized where she was she started yelling at Amanda “What in the hell just happened? Where are we? You’ve got some explaining to do young lady.” Amanda looked like she had seen a ghost. “I was going to tell you after Oliver and I figured out what was happening.  We were on our way to the library just to look it up, and you called us into the living room.”  Amanda was frightened by the look on her Mom’s face it was serious and very unhappy. “ This looks like we’ve been transported back in time.”  Just as she said that a man on a horse rode up and said “Howdy ladies, you seem to be lost.” Jennifer looked at him and began to realize approximately what time era they were in.  She said “Actually we were looking for a place to stay for the night.  We’re on our way to visit some relatives in the area.”  “Well climb on up I can take you into town.”  He reached out and grabbed Amanda and pulled her up to sit in front of him and then leaned down to help pull Jennifer up behind him.  They rode off down the dirt road just about thirty minutes.  As they got to town there was a sign that said  Silverton Colorado 1874.   The stranger rode up to the Grand Imperial hotel and then he tied up his horse and helped the ladies off.  He said “It’s my pleasure” then walked into the saloon.  04272011

“You stay with me right by my side and don’t you say one word!” I knew this was something magical and I wasn’t sure how or why it was happening but I wasn’t about to allow it to rule my life.  We walked into the hotel and there was a pleasant lady sitting at a counter in the lobby.  “Welcome ladies how may I help you?”  “We’d like to get a room with double beds for a few nights.”  “Certainly” She grabbed a set of keys and asked us to follow her up the stairs and down a long hall.  Once at the door she opened it then said “You can pay upon check out.  I’m Dolly, just ring me if there’s anything you need.” She pointed to a rope hanging from the ceiling and pulled it and a bell rang in the lobby.   I shut the door and said “Sit Down!”  Amanda sat down on the bed and just hung her head. I’m not mad that this happened.  I am angry that you are trying to keep secrets from me.  Do you think I would ever keep secrets from you or Oliver?”  “No.”  “So why?” I sat down beside her and hugged her.  She began to cry and apologize.  “Start from the beginning and tell me everything.”  Amanda began telling her Mommy about everything they had been doing.  All the craft they were studying and practicing up in the tree fort with out supervision.  04272011

“So, this is a magical problem.” I said.   “We’re here I think you and I should stay here for a few days until we can figure out if there’s a purpose or not.  I closed my eyes and slowly ran my hand over my body and the clothes I was wearing changed into late 18th century costumes.  I did the same thing to Amanda and hers changed too.  “I’m hungry let’s go get dinner.”  Amanda grabbed my arm and then said “Wait how will we pay for it?”  I reached into my handbag and pulled out some money. “You have some in yours too.  Don’t lose it.”  We left the room and went down to the lobby and then followed our noses to the restaurant.  There was a handsome young man who seated us at the table and then he placed two menus down.  He left and I said to Amanda “Not too chatty is he?”  She just giggled and then picked up the menu.  “Do you know what you want?”  “Not really.”  “I’m going to order the steak, potatoes and vegetables.”  “I will too then, can I have root beer?”  “Sure.” The young man came back and asked “Can I get you anything?”  “I would like the Steak, baked potato and vegetables dinner and sarsaparilla for the both of us.”  He grabbed up the menus and then he turned around and left.  The next person to come to the table was an older gentlemen, with a cowboy hat and a mustache.  “Welcome ladies.” He set our drinks down smiled then turned around and left.  Just then Jordy appeared Sissy, what are you doing here? Corey is worried about you. “Hi tell him I’m fine. We’re fine and I will be home in a few days.  Not to worry.”  Jordan smirked and vanished. 04272011

All the sudden Daddy appeared.  Hi Pumpkin he said to me and then she smiled at Amanda and said Baby. “Hi Daddy, I’m not sure how or why we are here but I am just going with it so please, let us be, okay?”  He moaned and then vanished. “Mommy, are you still mad at me?”  “No honey, I’m not mad. Let’s just try and have some fun okay?” I smiled at her and then placed my hand on hers.  I could tell by her energy she was a little shaken up about the whole ordeal.  “I will fix this, and if I can’t then me, Daddy, Aunt Penny and Uncle Cameron will.” Just then our food came out of the kitchen on large plates.  We ate dinner together and then a group of people walked up to the piano and began to play and sing.  04272011

“He was really good huh?”  I asked Amanda.  She was too busy enjoying her meal to answer but she nodded.  Before I knew it that young man walked right up to our table and said “Good Evening Ma’am.”  I turned to him and said “Hello.”  He continued “My name is Tom Bernard.”  I realized just then this man was one of the men mentioned on my family tree.  I tried to recall haw far back on the tree he was but I couldn’t so I quickly did the math in my head. He was my Daddy’s grandfather. “Nice to meet you this is my daughter Amanda and I’m Darcy Sparrow.”  “Nice to meet you both.  You are amazingly beautiful. I just thought I needed to tell you.”  He smiled and winked and I said “Thank you. You’re so kind.”  He tipped his hat and then left us.  Amanda finished her dinner and then the waiter came and cleared the table for us.  We went outside for a walk around town to see what it was all about.  While we were walking a few wagons rolled in with a small group of people.  They were watching us walk by as they unloaded their things. I just smiled and continued walking.  04302011

Suddenly Tom ran up from behind us and then said “Hey, what are you two lovely ladies up to?”  I stopped walking and then said “We are trying to get familiar with the town.”  “Oh please allow me to give you a tour.”  He showed us around the town and then after then he walked us back to our hotel room.  Up in the room I couldn’t for the life of me figure out what the purpose of us coming back to this time was for.  Just then Amanda had another seizure and so I grabbed her and us and our things vanished back to our current time in the living room of our home.  “I’m tired so I’m going up to my room to sleep.”  Amanda kissed me and went to her room.  Oliver came in “Hi Mom, is everything okay?”  “Yes honey.”  We kissed and hugged good night and I went to bed too. 05012011

In the morning I got up put on my robe and ran over to my Grandparents house.  I wanted to ask them about Tom Bernard. I knocked on the door and walked in and the house was extremely quite.  I noticed someone was making a little noise in the kitchen and when I walked in it was Grand and Cameron sharing coffee.  “Hey honey.”  Grand said “Hi guys. Hey Grand what can you tell me about Mom’s dad?”  He was a very talented man.  He sang and danced and was a theatrical writer.  Very popular back in his day.”  he grabbed me a mug and poured me some coffee and we all sat down at the table.  Cameron just listened while Grand continued and I sipped my coffee. “He was extremely handsome.  That’s all anyone talked about when his  name was brought up in family conversations.  Why the sudden interest?”  “Oh I was just curious.  I’m sort of working on the family tree for the children.”  I lied but I didn’t want to tell him or Cameron the truth.

“I think you should talk to your Grandmother about this.”  Grand said to me as he and Cameron walked out to start work.  Gram came in and kissed me on the cheek and said “Hey, what beings you over?”  “Grand I met Ton Bernard. There’s something wrong with Amanda.  She’s going into convulsions and then we disappeared and reappeared in the past about a hundred and 70 something years.”  Gram poured herself some coffee and then stopped and looked at me. Then she filled up her cup and asked “You need a refill?”  “Yes.”  She poured coffee in my cup and set the pot back down on the maker.  “My grandfather was the most amazing man I ever met besides my father and your grandfather.  He was good at everything he did. He had the Midas touch.  Anything and everything turned to gold.  Not literally of course but figuratively speaking.” I nodded and sipped my coffee.  She continued “I looked up to him.  So did my Dad.”  “I just can’t figure out why we were sent there, of all places and times.”  “There may not be a really big reason other than to have met him in person to see for yourself what he was like.”  I just took it in and thought about it in my head.  We sipped coffee together and hadn’t said much after that.  Just shared quiet, deep thinking time. 05022011

I finished my coffee, thanks my Gram and then went back to the house.  The family was up and the children were eating cereal after getting ready for school.  Corey came in and kissed me.  “Oliver, you keep a close eye on her today. Call me if anything strange happens again!” “Okay Mom.”  “Nothing is going to happen Mom” Amanda said.  “You don’t know that honey, and I can’t have you popping all over the time line at your age.  It’s dangerous.”  Corey sipped his coffee and then asked “What shall we do about this?”  I looked at him and just couldn’t come up with an answer.  Suddenly there was a light knock on the door and then Penny walked in. “Good morning.”  She said while kissing each of us.  The last one was Amanda. “I hear you’re having some trouble, anything I can help with?”  Amanda was irritated and glared at me. “I think I’m fine!”  Just then Penny reached out and touched Amanda’s hand.  The convulsion started then Penny chanted a spell and suddenly they stopped.  My heart started beating faster and I was sweating a little.  “What happened?”  Penny slid the extra chair away from the table and sat down.  She began telling us about the trouble Amanda was having and what its cause was.  “It’s all in one of the old books I found.  Her body’s chemistry is conflicting with her powers.  I just cast a spell to balance them both out.  She should be fine now.”  The kids thanked Penny and ran out to meet with their cousins.  Penny got up and said “See you later.”  She left to take the children to school.   05022011

I quickly got up and then showered, dressed and went straight to the basement to look up a few things.  I grabbed a few books off the shelf blew the dust off of them and then I sat down.  Just as I opened the one of the books on the top I began to shiver uncontrollably. I was convulsing now.  There was a loud rattle snake like sound and then I vanished.  In a split instant I found myself sitting in a little garden of some small county cottage.  Just then a couple people walked out of the cottage. It was a man and a younger woman. I got freakishly scared and jumped up and started to run and hide when all the sudden I was changed into a turtle.  The man picked me up and set me back on the bench then he said a spell and I changed back into myself.  I didn’t budge.  I looked him over from head to toe, then the young woman.  “Who are you and what are you doing in our garden?”  “I’m Jennifer Nicholson -Sparrow and I am a witch.  Something is wrong with my powers and they brought me here.”  “I’m Doug Parker and this is my daughter Rori O’Shae.”  “Pleased to meet you.” She said and reached out to shake my hand.  I extended mine and we shook then I let go and he grabbed my hand.  I could feel him entering my mind, body and soul scanning me wholly and completely.  It made me get goose bumps and then I pulled my hand back away from him. “I’m very sorry to intrude on you nice folks.  Where is this exactly?”  “You’re at my Grams cottage in France.”  She smiled and then offered me some tea. I took the cup and saucer and then sipped from it and set it on the little end table.

They both pulled up chairs and sat across from me.  He was telling me all about his ancestor Myrddin Emrys. How he cast a powerful spell to locate and expose a breed of people who were considered the beautiful people.  “They are people who are not only exceptionally beautiful on outside but they are equally beautiful on the inside as well. The power they possess is not like everyone else’s.”  “How do you mean?” I asked.  She continued “Our family is a long line of mystical, magical people.  We can teach others how to use it and practice the craft and over time become just as powerful as we are. Your lineage is so magically pure that your powers are unmatched over all of  time.”  He said “Angelic so to speak.”  I laughed then said “You mean to tell me our family are a bunch of angels?” “Not literally but magically, yes.” Doug offered me some more tea and I nodded.  “So how long are you staying?” Rori asked.  I shrugged my shoulders, and said “I haven’t been home much for the past few days because of what ever this strange thing that happens is happening.  I don’t know.”  Doug said, we were just getting ready to leave and head to the Châteaux  Bertrand, and you’re welcome to come with us as our guest.  I think our library might be of some great source of answers if you would like to stay a few days.”   I was just getting ready to say yes and before it came out of my mouth Doug grabbed me and Rori said “Babushka!” and we were suddenly at the most elaborate and amazing mansion I have ever seen in all my life.  05022011

“Wow I love this place” I said spinning around taking it all in.  Rori said “Come with me I will show you to your room.”  I let her take me by the hand and walk me to the stairway and down a long hallway filled with doorways.  Once inside the room Rori said “I will leave you to look around and be back in a few.”  She left and I went through the room, and checked out the private bathroom, closets and balcony.  Just then a waiter came in wearing a tuxedo and offering me a flute of champagne.  “My name is Lucas and I will be at your service today, so if there is anything you need please let me know.”  I grabbed the flute off the tray and then smiled and said “Thank you very much.”  I sipped the champagne walked outside to the balcony.  I sat down and finished the champagne and it magically refilled all on its own.  I said :I could really learn to love a place like this” to myself and then Rori walked back into the room and the out to the balcony. “Hi Jennifer, this is Myrddin Emrys, also known as Merlin. “How do you do?” “I’m confused thank you.” He sat down and told me all about the spell, my family and our powers.  Just then that handsome server came back with three more flutes filled with champagne.  They took theirs and he gave me a new glass and took mine away, then left. 05022011

“How long have you been practicing?” Merlin asked me.  “Not that long, maybe about sixteen years. The first witch I met was my sister in law Penny.  She’s been practicing all her life.”  “Oh yes I know Penny. She’s a bit eccentric but a wonderful woman, and witch. Do you mind if we take you on a little retreat for a while to test your abilities?”  I sipped my champagne and then said “Um, yeah sure why not?”  Merlin stood up slammed his wooden staff on the ground and the three of us were magically traveling through time and space to Merlin’s home time line.  “This is a cave. Why are we in a cave?”   Rori looked around and then said a little incantation, and she became invisible right before my eyes.  She said “Merlin, is this what I think it is?”  “Yes dear”.  I heard loud stomping and heavy monstrous breathing.  Then from a tunnel off of the cave this giant dragon walked out.  Just as he began to spew fire at us from his mouth I began to see everything surrounding me happen in slow motion.  I raised my hand up and whispered  “Chill out.”  The dragon’s fire extinguished and he coughed up smoke rings.  Everything went back to normal speed again and I looked at Merlin and said “What just happened?” “You my dear tapped into your Angelic powers.” “Is he going to be okay?”  “Oh him? Yeah he will go drink some water and be as good as new.”  The dragon hung his head and tucked his enormous tail in and walked back where he came from.  Merlin hit his staff on the ground and Rori, Merlin and I were in another time, and this time on a small island right in the middle of a hurricane.  He grabbed Rori and then a palm tree and hung on through all the wind and rain.  Everything came into slow motion again.  This time I spoke one word “Calm.”  The storm stopped the clouds split and disappeared and the sun came shining through.  I was starting to get the picture about how my powers worked.  05022011

Merlin slammed his staff down again and we were in a desert out in the middle of nowhere. He said “I want you to concentrate, and get into your zone where everything around you becomes slow motion.  Once you are there use your powers to create a garden paradise right here in this desert.” Rori held Merlin’s free hand and he continued to talk me into a trance.  His words slowed down and I wasn’t really understanding them anymore.  I lifted my hands and arms above my waist and said “soft dirt, ferns, green leafy plants, mountainous water falls, small swimming hole…” Everything was miraculously changing right before our eyes.  Once I finished I could hear Merlin’s words tune back in and I understood him again. “Very good, that’s magnificent.”  Rori said “I couldn’t have come anywhere close to this!”   I smiled at her and said “Thanks.” 05022011

Merlin slammed his staff on the ground again and we were in the middle of a rain forest that had been laid to waist by tractors and logging tucks.  “This needs to be restored. So concentrate again and recreate this rain forest as it was before they harvested it.  I heard him speaking in slow motion again and I said “Trees grow.”  I spun around and all the trees grew back to the way they originally were before they were chopped down.  I also changed the terrain made it too treacherous for mankind to get to it and harvest them again.  I came back to normal and Merlin said “Perfect, that’s enough for today.” He hit his staff on the ground and we were all back on the balcony.  Lucas came out and switched our flutes with new fresh ones and left.  Merlin said “I have some reading to do, we will work more tomorrow.”  “Emrys how long are you staying?” Rori asked. I was curious too, so I waited for his response. “When my work is complete here and I get Jennifer back to her family.” 05022011

I slept so sound in the giant bed.  It was the most comfortable bed I had ever slept in.  Just as I woke up there was a light knock on the door and then Rori came in.  “Hi Jennifer, I picked up some clothes for you to wear I hope you like them.” She set them on the end of the bed and then left me to shower and get dressed.  I went down stairs to the dinning room where everyone was seated to eat breakfast.    Just as I sat down while Lucas pulled out the chair for me I began to sense everything slowing down.  A man appeared behind me as Lucas was walking away and he grabbed me and we vanished.  Still seeing things in slow motion d this creepy man with black hair and red eyes and I were traveling through space and time.  In a split second both Daddy and Jordy appeared and each touched me, then my spirit left my body and that ghastly evil man continued on with my body.  Wait, this can’t happen! I think you guys forgot something!  We appeared back in the Châteaux Bertrand dining room, where Merlin took one look at me and then he said “Hello Jordan and Frederick.  Are you all ready?”  He said a spell and then hit his staff on the ground and all three of us were in human bodies. Our own original human bodies.  I was relieved and shocked to see Jordan and Daddy.  We all hugged one another and then Merlin sent us back home.  05032011

Once home I called Mommy over and she met with Daddy and Jordan.  They were all very happy to see one another but Mommy and Daddy knew that things were going to be awkward since she met and married the local dentist.  My Noni and Papi came over and were thrilled to have Daddy back and also to meet my twin Jordan.  “How did this happen?”  Noni cried.  Daddy and Jordan explained that they found Merlin and told him their story and he offered to help, especially after he found out who our family was.  Daddy had let things go and was ready to move on with his new life, but Mommy was really struggling with it.  They were really good, and close friends, even though she was remarried. 05032011

I sat the five children down with the family and told them everything that had happened to me and what happened when I was visiting the Parkers. I explained to them that they were each a rare and special type of magical people. The Angelic ones, or the beautiful .  We continued to practice the craft, and had many adventures.
