This was the first time I had seen her here at school.  She was sitting on a park bench in front of the school reading a book.  Her long brown hair and soft looking skin always caught my attention even if I was being caroused by a group of my buddies at a beach party surrounded by bamboozled drunken fools.   I tried to ignore the feelings that I was having for her.  I felt sometimes that she might be way out of my league.  Just as she looked up to catch my eyes regarding her beauty Freddy jumped me from behind and tackled me to the ground. “Get off me you douche bag!” I snapped at him and pushed him away as if he was the plague. He took his arm and got me in a chokers hold and then he began to mess up my hair with his fist.  I clinched my fist and punched him in the groin.  He let go so fast then cried out like a sick little lamb “Owe my balls, you dick!”  I stood up and wiped off the dirt and then looked back over to her, at the same time running my hand through my hair, and she was gone.  I extended out a hand and grabbed Freddy’s with it and helped him back up to his feet. He put his arm around me, and I put mine around him and then I smacked him on the ass. “That Fucken hurt you prick.”  I kissed him on the cheek and then whispered “Oh stop it you pussy.”  We walked up the stairs and through the double doors of our school.   William Whitman Senior High named after a local poet who lived out in the forest most of his life just outside of town.   05312011

Once through the doors there were classmates everywhere you looked. Either walking by doorways or standing at their lockers.  I still had my arm around Freddy.  Just before I released him I tweaked his nipple and shoved him away from me.  Some of our click of friends walked up and we all fist pound. “Sup Dog?” Jason asked me.  “Hey, you ready to get creamed today at practice?”  “Oh man, if you think you can then I say bring it!” “Oh I’m gonna bring it and you’re gonna take it like a man.” Jason was a stocky jock with enormous arms and legs.  He was our tight end.  His job was to look out for me The Quarter Back so nobody rushed me before I pass off the ball.  Barry was one of the other guys who was on the team he was taller than Jason but just as thick.  He always liked to give Freddy a hard time.  I looked over and he was pinning him up against the lockers and whispering something in his ear.  I rushed over and pulled him away from him and pushed him across the hallway.  “Leave him alone Barry, Freddy’s my bitch.” He ran over and put his arm around me and then pinched my nipple. “Easy killer.” I said with a smile. The bell rang and so I grabbed my things that I needed from my locker and shut it and then we went off to class.  05312011

I got into the class and slid into my seat right as the final bell rang.  First period teacher lived to bust me for being tardy.  Her name was Mrs. Jenson. She was a little on the heavy side short with short brown hair and this black framed glasses.  At that moment she happened to be writing something on the chalkboard.  She stopped writing as the door to the classroom closed and she turned to see who it was.  I heard her saying “Late again Mister Torello” Up until she saw me in my seat and stopped talking. We both looked at the door at the same time to see who it was and it was that girl who I caught myself looking at out in the courtyard. “Jenna, is there a reason why you’re tardy this morning?”  She walked in with such grace and elegance and slipped Mrs. Jenson a small piece of paper and then walked past me to sit in the next available seat.  I started to get nervous about how I was feeling.  My heart started beating a little faster and I could tell I was getting aroused in my jeans. It was then that Mrs. Jenson picked me out of the class and solved the math problem that she had written out on the board.  I cleared my throat and then grabbed my ring binder and tried to cover up my crotch.  Just then Travis coughed out “Boner”.  Everyone laughed and it disappeared instantly.  I stopped and looked at him and gave him a dirty look then said “Too bad it was for you, Bro!”  His face turned beat red and everyone continued to laugh.  I solved the math problem quickly and easily then I set the chalk down inside the shelf and returned to my seat.  I was pretty embarrassed and needed to direct my thoughts somewhere else to get over what had just happened. 06012011

I spent the last hour with minimal or no attention drawn to me and then the bell rang.  I grabbed my backpack and got out of there as fast as I could.  I was really thinking about how the rest of the day might go if it already started out like this.  Travis was running towards me while I was walking quickly back to my locker.  “Hey Frankie, wait up.”  I slowed down and allowed him to catch up to me. “What’s up Travis?”  “You like her don’t you?”  “I’m not sure. I mean I wasn’t sure until this morning.  Thanks for your help to embarrass me back there you piece of shit.”  “You know I love you!” He put his arm around my shoulder and I put mine around his and then I tripped him up and pushed him to the ground. “I love you too pookie!” Barry and Jason walked up and then got in on the fun. Then Lance and Rick walked up, “Hey guys.” Lance said.  I got up off of Travis and straightened up my shirt and then said “Hi boys.” We all continued walking to our lockers and then each of us opened them got our things and then left together. 006012011

Freddy met up with us and the seven of us walked up the hall in a line while everyone moved out of our way.  The next class was Physical Education.  We walked into the gym, changed into our shorts and t-shirts and met back out on the field.  “Today class we’re going to play a little game of Crab soccer.” Mr. Douglas said.  He was carrying a huge ball that looked like it was made out of levi jeans. He tossed it on the grass and said “It’s the girls vs. the guys.  The object is to kick the ball into the goals but everyone has to crawl around on their hands and feet like this.  He dropped to the ground and had his hands behind him and his feet in front and his butt in the air.  He moved quickly towards the ball and kicked it.  “The same rules apply as the real game of soccer.”  He got up and blew the whistle.  I ran to the front line and got into position.  Right in front of me on the same line there she was.  My heart began to beat faster again.  I was feeling a ton of adrenalin kicking into gear.  The ball was kicked and she crawled over to it first and began kicking it.  I crawled over and tried to block her but the ball bounced off my feet and went around me.  I was crawling pretty fast and she managed to stay at least a foot ahead of me the whole way down the field.  Then she shot and made it. Douglas blew his whistle and shouted “One nothing, girls!”  I stopped dead in my tracks as she crawled up to me.  “Kick it up a notch Matt Flynn.” 06012011

I laughed and was pretty impressed she followed football. We were pretty competitive for the rest of the class.  Girls lost thought 18-15.  I got up off the ground and then walked up to her and offered my hand. “Good game.”  He shook my hand  then said “We let you boys win, fragile egos and all…” “Yeah right” I said.  My guys all huddled around me and we went to the boys locker room to shower up.  I stripped off all my clothes and jumped into the showers first.  My water was slightly cold to cool off all my horny energy. Just as soon as the last guy in our group showed up at the showers there was a huge explosion and something came crashing into the locker room. I jumped out of it’s way and hit the floor right as it happened.  With my towel in hand I quickly wrapped it around me and stood up. All the other guys were scuffling to get off the floor and get their towels too.  Our football coach and Mr. Douglas ran out of their offices and yelled “what the hell was that?”  I felt this burst of energy hit me and run through out my body.  I looked at the other guys and they were glowing yellow like I was. I quickly  got dressed and the coach was grabbing us and directing us away from the smoldering mass of what looked like an asteroid from outer space.  Just then the Principal ran in saying that the same thing happened on the other side of the wall to a group of girls in their locker rooms too.  The seven of us guys were all sitting in seats set up in the conference room next to the nurses station.  Beside our row of seats were seven other seats, each one empty.  Just then the girls walked in and they were glowing too. They looked like walking green glow sticks. “Wow, that’s freaky!” Travis said. “Shut up prick, you look sick too.”  Betsy said then sat down beside him and hit him.  Right when she did that the two of them changed colors and the glow was blue.  “Okay, nobody touch anyone right now until we figure this thing out!”  The nurse said while she was on the cell phone to someone else describing to them what happened.   06012011

Not a single one of us knew that at that moment for the rest of our lives nothing would ever be the same again, ever! The military showed up with all their best scientists, doctors, and military service folks and they quarantined the group of us to a huge old Victorian estate in the center of town.  Guys on one side of the estate and girls on the other.  We were tested, prodded and examined over and over and over again.  I was sitting in a room on some doctors table with one of those cheap paper doctors office gowns with my ass hanging out the back.  I finally got pissed off and told them “The next person who touches me is going to get their fucking hands broken or worse!”  Everyone left the room, leaving me there by myself.   A doctor came in and he looked like a military doctor.  “Hey doc, can I get something else to wear? This table is cold and the gown isn’t helping any.”  He smiled and introduced himself to me.  “Hi, my name is John Fillmore and I’m going to be your personal physician from here on out.  How are you feeling?”  “I’m good, just cold and a little irritated.” He reached into a metal cabinet and pulled out something folded and then shut the doors and then handed it to me.  “Please put these on they will help you feel a little less chilly.”  They were a pair of Hanes cotton sweats.  I stood up and slid on the pants first then I removed the gown and slipped over the sweatshirt. 06012011

“Thank you doc, that’s much better.  So do you guys have any idea what this is?  When can I go home?” “No and I’m not sure.”  He smiled and sat down beside me.  “All your tests came back negative.  We’ll, more like normal as if nothing has ever changed. I honestly don’t have an answer for you.  We do know that the small group of you who were effected by the meteorites were the only ones.  We also know that it’s nothing contagious. So you all will be going home after the final meeting of surgeons and scientists meet with their data and we agree it’s okay.” He stood up and turned to me then said “If there’s anything you need at anytime you call me.  I don’t care what time or why.  You need to let me know if anything changes.”  He handed me his business card and then smiled patted my shoulder and left.  I looked at the card and it said Dr. Nathaniel J. Fillmore M.D. with cell numbers and office numbers.  I tossed the gown in the trash and walked out of the examination room.  The hallway was a little dark and the place smelled dusty and old like how I imagined old peoples houses were.  Just as I passed the fist door Freddy and Barry walked out of it wearing their hospital gowns.  I stopped and let them walk ahead of me and then I began laughing.  “You two never looked better.”  Barry said “Fuck off Torello, I’m freezing my balls off here!”   We came to a set of stairs and went up them.  Once at the next door we opened it and there were seven beds all lined up along the walls. Each bed had a set of clothes on them.  Jason, Travis, Rick and Lance were already getting dressed. Once I came upon the bed with my name on it I slipped off the sweats and changed into the other clothes.  I got up and went into a hallway and then through an open closet, that lead to the bathrooms.  There were urinals, sinks, mirrors and then toilet stalls and open showers. The whole room was tiled from floor to ceiling.  Only one window up against the wall looking out to some park.  06012011

I turned around and walked out of the bathrooms and back into the bedroom.  I sat down on the bed and looked over all the other guys.  It appeared that the glow was fading now, after a good half a day.  “Shit what about practice and the game?” Jason snapped.  “Dude, there’s more pressing shit to worry about right now don’t you think?!” Lance said.  “Okay Mister brains, what do you think all this means?” Freddy asked.  “I’m not sure, my guess is that our molecular structure was compromised upon the impact of the meteorite, and in the next 24 hours you’re going to turn into a giant lizard.” He made lizard like gestures with his tongue at Freddy.   I started laughing, and I couldn‘t stop.  It just struck me funny.  Freddy jumped on top of Lance and began tickling him atop the bed.  In seconds the glow completely faded. They stopped and looked at each other and then turned and looked at us.  “Um, I’m not feeling well.”  They jumped up and ran into the bathroom and began throwing up in the toilets.  In no time this flu like bug hit all of us and we found ourselves throwing up in the sinks, urinals, anywhere we could.  Once I finished vomiting my skin felt cold and I got goose bumps.  I was shivering and I went back into the bedroom and then grabbed the folded blanket at the end of the bed and wrapped myself in it.  All the other guys came over after grabbing their blankets and we huddled together like a bunch of hairless Chihuahua’s in the snow. 06012011

Our energy lever must have been depleted because we all fell asleep on my bed against each other just as we were, left huddled together.  I carefully got up and went to the showers.  Everyone one at a time came in and showered too.  Not a one of us was glowing anymore. Once we were all dressed we sat at the end of each of our beds looking at one another.  “Well, what now?” Rick asked.  I said “I think we should go find the girls and ask them how they’re feeling.”  We agreed then left the room looking for the girls.  I smelled food cooking and followed the smell to the kitchen.  Right away I noticed that none of the girls were glowing anymore either. They were up already cooking eggs, bacon, pancakes, sausage, hash browns, muffins, pastries, danishes, and anything else they could think of for breakfast.  “Sit down boys, we’ve got it all here.” Pearl said.  There was a huge table that seated about 20 people and it was packed with food, along with every counter space had something prepared on it.  “What the Hell?” Jason asked.  “We’re not sure.  We got a burst of energy and had the urge to cook and we’ve been up and cooking since early this morning.”  Pearl confessed. I pulled Betsy aside and asked “Hey did any of you get sick last night?”  “Sick? How do you mean?”  “Well we all got sick, with flu like symptoms and then after that we were completely tired and freezing, and we passed out leaning against each other on the same bed.”  I whispered. She said “Nope we all took baths, shaved, did our nails, you know girly stuff.  After we woke up we just got busy cooking and baking.” 06012011

I sat down and ate as if I hadn’t eaten for a week, we all did.  Once I had eaten all I could I got up from the table and then washed off my plate and silverware, placed it in the drying rack and then I went to look around the house.  I heard shuffling feet behind me and turn to look and it was Freddy.  “Hey Frankie, I’m scared.  We don’t know anything about this or what happened to us.  I’m sort of freaking out here.” I slowed up and waited for him to walk beside me and then I put my arm around him.  “You know Freddy, why you worried?  You’re not in this alone.  If anything happens we all have each other to help us get through it and figure it out. I have lots of questions for the Government like How’d this happen with out them knowing ahead of time that a meteor was going to hit especially ones bigger that the crab soccer ball? I have a feeling they know more about this and they aren’t telling us.  If it’s true we will figure it out, together.” 06012011

Freddy and I didn’t find anything out of the ordinary in our detailed search of the estate.  We wound up in the top floor out on the balcony that overlooked the park. Right beside the house there was the largest oak tree we had ever seen.  Freddy got this wild look in his eyes and then he leaped off the balcony and onto the tree.  He was like a monkey in the wild, on crack.  He was moving so fast on and around the tree then he leaped to his feat on the ground below.  This tree had to be about four stories tall and he managed to swing around it like it was nothing.  I was a little blown away by it because I never even seen him move that fast on the field before.  He looked back up at me and just started laughing.  “Dude?  What’s that all about?”  He shrugged his shoulders and then he scaled the house climbing back into the balcony.  He didn’t even break a sweat.  “Freaky…wow…”  He said with the biggest smile.   I turned around and went back downstairs to the kitchen.  The whole kitchen was spotless.  Not a dirty or used dish in sight.  The girls were all sitting around at the empty table chatting with each other.  I asked “Where’s the guys?”  Melody never said a word but she pointed to the back door of the kitchen that lead to the gardens. 06012011

I opened the door and noticed the guys were acting really strange.  Just as I walked out Rick scanned me up and then down and placed his hands up as if to cover parts of my body from his view then he said “Whoa, I don’t need to be seeing that!”  I looked down where he was looking and then back at him.  “What’s going on Rick? See what?”  He had an odd look on his face then said “Your junk man.  It’s right there plain as day.  I can see it through your clothes.  Hanging down and off to the left.”  I hit him and then grabbed him and held both of his shoulders and shook him.  “What are you talking about?”  “I just all the sudden have the ability to see through things. Clothing, buildings, cars, rocks, hillsides, anything.  At first I thought it was cool but now it’s sort of grossing me out.” I covered my junk with my left hand and squeezed his shoulder.  “When did this happen? I mean how long have you been doing this?”  “Just about ten minutes ago.” I let him go and took a deep breath.  I looked around and was trying to figure out on my own what else was going on.  Just then I began hearing everyone’s thoughts.  Barry was wondering how he got his bruit strength? While he picked up boulders ten times bigger than him and tossed them like they were bean bags in mid air. 06012011

I began to realize that all of us were effected differently by the meteorite and so I got out the card my doctor gave me and I called him. Hey Doc, it’s Frankie.  There’s something really odd going on over here and I think you should get over here as soon as possible.  See you. I hung up and walked  out into the garden.  Just as I got up to the large fountain that was in the center of the garden I looked down and could see Jason under water and he was looking up at me.  I began to read his mind and he was telling me he could breathe under water all of the sudden.  On the nearby bench Lance was flipping through pages of his science book and as I read his mind I was amazed to find out he had photographic memory.   I decided to go inside and wait for my doctor to arrive.  As I was going through the kitchen Beatrice was telepathically moving the chairs and furniture. “Hey Frankie cool huh?”  “Uh yeah exciting.”  I replied and continued out of the kitchen and up to our room.  I laid down on my bed and fell asleep. 06022011

A cold hand touched my face and I woke up to my doctor standing above me beside my bed.  “How you feeling?”  “Oh hey Doc.  I’m fine just a little fatigued is all.”  “I see things are a little weird around here today. All the other doctors and sponsors have arrived and we’ve taken an assessment of the changes.  It would appear that the girls are all affected too. For instance…” He read from notes he had made on a pad of paper on his clip board. “Veronica can talk to animals and command them what to do. Jenna can fly, Melody starts fires on command, Betsy bends air, Pearl manipulates water. Oh and Chantelle levitates.”  Just then I read his mind and he was wondering what my abilities were while he was taking my pulse.  “I can read your mind.”  “That’s impressive.”  He just smiled and continued examining me.  Before he said anything else I was knowing what he was going to say before he said it.  “Okay so now what?” I asked.  He was thinking to himself that as soon as the government officials find out about this things would drastically change for us and it would be worse than it is now. “What do you suggest we do?”  he was thinking about his family farm that he inherited from his grandparents on the other side of the state.  “What about school, and our families?”   I could sense he was getting a little uncomfortable about me reading his every thought so I shut it off and allowed him to talk. “They would be told about your location in confidence and then we would have to bring in tutors and teachers for home school.”  06022011

I understood where this was heading and I realized how it would effect all our lives.  “So does anyone have anymore information about the meteorite?  Like where did it come from? Why didn’t they know something that size was coming? Is it two or one that split in half?”  “The government isn’t commenting at all about it.  I believe it was one and it split coming through our atmosphere and then that’s how it hit both the boys and girls gym, locker room showers.” “So where is it now?”  “The government confiscated both specimens and their scientists and astronomers, are analyzing them.” Doc replied. I got packed and then talked to the rest of the group.  Everyone agreed that the best thing to do is to go in seclusion for a while. We loaded up a few vans and headed out of town.  06022011

As we pulled up to the long dirt driveway I asked the Doctor “This is your family ranch?”  “Yeah, it’s about 500 acres.” The rolling hills, and pastures were beautiful. Everything was perfectly fenced in and it looked like something I had seen before in an oil painting. We got to the house and it was a giant colonial style farmhouse. “This place looks like a hotel.”  “It has twenty bedrooms and ten baths. I also have four cottages out back. One of the old mills was converted into farmhouse apartments too.” Jason spoke up “Is there a pool dock?”  “Yes, we have a pool, basketball and tennis courts, as well as a full working gym.”  “Nice” Barry replied. He pulled up and stopped the van and all of us couldn’t wait to get out and explore the property.  The second van pulled up behind us and the girls and a scientist associate of Doc’s got out too.  “Hey kids I only have a few rules before you all run off. 1. Respect the Ranch, 2. Don’t tell anyone where you are for any reason. That’s it and have fun.”  he walked up to the lady scientist and then introduced her to me.  “Frankie this is my old friend Janice Benjamin. Janice this is Frances Torello.”  I extended my hand and took hers and said “it’s nice to meet you.”  “Come let’s take a look at the place.”  He walked us up the stairs and to the front deck and then unlocked the doors.  Everyone followed from behind us and then ran off to explore the estate.  “You are welcome to take any room you like. There’s plenty for everyone.”  Just then Freddy walked up beside me and asked “Frankie can we bunk together?  I don’t think I can stand being alone.”  “Oh yeah sure, no worries.”  06022011

Freddy and I went off together and checked out all the rooms until we found the first one that had two beds and a private bathroom.  Inside the bathroom was two sinks, a bath tub and a shower.  “Cool this will work perfectly.”  We unpacked our things.  This room was on the top floor and it looked out the front of the house.  As I was looking out the window another white van had pulled up and there was a small group of people unloading their things.  They didn’t some inside they were heading to what I assumed was the old mill that was converted into farmhouse apartments that Doc had mentions.  Freddy walked up beside me and looked out the window too. “Who’s that?”  “It looks like the hired help.”  “Man, this doctor is loaded!”  “Or his family was, but yeah.” I sighed “Come on, let’s go check the place out.” 06022011

I let the way while Freddy followed closely behind me. We went down the stairs and down the other side of the house where we hadn’t been yet.  There the doors that were opened we looked inside as we passed a library, and the next door we came to we stopped and looked in.  It was a room filled with shelves just like the library only instead of book on the shelves there were jars filled with candies.  “Oh man we hit the Mother load!” Freddy said.  “Hurry, close the door behind you.”  There was every sort of candy we could imagine. “This place looks like an old fashioned candy store. Just then the door opened and Chantelle and Pearl walked in.  “Oh shoot they found our stash.” Pearl said.  “You stash? Sorry you must mean our stash.” Pearl went right to the red vines and ripped them off the reel. Chantelle was picking through the jars for the assorted candy sticks. “Black berry and root beer are my favorite.”  I was searching for the chocolate bars. Three more people came in. Jason, Lance and Jenna. “Hey guys, this is totally cool!” Jenna said.  “I know isn’t it? Help me find the chocolate.” I said. We looked around the corner and there it was the whole back end of the room just filled with every kind of chocolate bar known to man. “Oh my God! Hershey’s  Almonds.”  “Oh my favorite is San Francisco’s Ghirardelli Chocolate.” Jenna found a bar and held it up.  She opened it and then broke of a piece and then handed it to me. “Here try this.” “Oh man , that’s good!”  I suddenly realized that is wasn’t even mid day yet and here we were just stuffing our faces with candy. “Hey Freddy grab what you need and let’s hit it.”  “Okay, right behind you.” He grabbed a handful of candy and filled his pockets.  I thanked Jenna and said “see you.”  06022011

“This place is huge.”  Freddy said trying to keep up with my long strides.  We walked around the horse stables, then the tennis courts and basketball courts, and then up and over a little hill.  Just on the other side of it was a lake.  “Hey check this out, it’s another barn.”  I slid open the door and we went inside.  There was all kinds of fishing poles and tackle in boxes on the built in desk tops along one wall. The floors were hardwood and it was a good size to host a dance party.  “Oh wow, you want to go fishing?” Freddy asked excitedly. “Yeah sure, let’s grab a pole and some bait and see what we can catch.”  Inside the fridge was a few tubs of dirt. I opened one up and then moved the dirt around a little until I found a good sized worm. I pulled it out then grabbed a rod and real that was already to go and I strung it on the hook.  “You got yours or do you need my help?”  “No, I got it.”  He grabbed a worm and rod and reel too and we walked out to the lake then sat down and cast out.  In just about ten minutes we both had a bite and we reeled in about a ten pound bass each.  I ran back to the barn and got a fishing chain and drove the stake into the ground and then hooked up both fish.  “You want to go again?”  I asked. “Yeah, I’ll go get us some more worms.” He left and came back with two more worms.  I re-hooked my line and then fed the worm on it and cast out.  Freddy was still trying to put the wiggling worm onto the hook.  “you sure you got that?”  “Yes, stop it. I’ve been fishing since I was five.” 06032011

This time the fish didn’t come so easily. Lance and Rick walked up to us. Lance asked “You guys catching anything? Just then Rick pulled up the chain and said “Hell yeah check these out.”  “You guys mind if we join you?”  “Nope, grab a rod and  have a seat.” I said with a smile. They did and sat down beside us.  The four of us just sat and waited.  “So how you feeling?” I asked Lance. He was sitting pretty close to me. “I’m okay. I think it’s a little weird what happened to us.  What I can’t figure out is why I got photographic memory and he got x-ray vision” He pointed at Rick. “I would rather have had x-ray vision!” then Rick spoke up, “Uh no you wouldn’t, there are some things that I would rather not see. I just figured out this past hour how to shut it off.  Seeing all you guys naked isn’t my idea of a good time.”  “Oh bull Rick, you know you wanted it.” I said laughingly. “Hey don’t forget what we were all doing when the meteorite hit. Taking showers.  I seen it all brother.” We all got a good laugh and then Rick’s rod had a bite. He reeled it in “Hey it’s a Brook Trout.” I said as he reeled it in.  “Yeah, I love those.” Lance commented.  Rick loaded his fish on the chain and dropped it back into the water. “So Frankie, what do you think is going to happen to us?” Rick asked.  “I don’t know.  I think we’re all going to be fine, after we get used to our new talents.  I didn’t get anything special besides the ability to read your minds.  It’s a damn good thing I can shut that off. I don’t want to know what Barry is thinking half the time.”  Just then Barry walked up and smacked my upside the head. I jumped up and tackled him.  He picked me up and then he tossed me in the air like I was a stuffed animal and then he caught me and put me back to my feet. “Barry quit showing off!” Lance ordered. 06032011

Rick went into the shed with Barry and they loaded up another rod and reel for him and he got another worm for his hook.  By now it was well after noon and all of us were feeling a little hungry again.  Jenna came walking up with the rest of the group and they packed picnic baskets filled with sandwiches, chips, fruits and snacks. “Hey fellas, we thought you might be hungry. You mind if we join you?”  I spoke up quickly “Uh no not at all, thanks.”  I grabbed the basket she was carrying and then she laid out a blanket to sit down on. Travis and Jason got themselves a rod and reel too and loaded up the hooks and cast at the other end of where we were all sitting.  Betsy and melody followed right behind them and sat beside them casting in too.  “This is a nice spot. Good size barn too.”  “I know we could host a few Saturday night dances here I bet.” She smiled and then said “That would be nice.” I started to feel all tingly again like I did before when I saw her for the first time.  There was something about her. I was so tempted to spy on her most inner thoughts but then I decided that wouldn’t be a decent thing to do so I let that thought go with away with the light breeze. 06032011

She reached into her picnic basket and pulled out a sandwich that was all wrapped up in butcher paper.  I thanked her and then opened it.  It was a roast beef on soft roll with jack cheese, pickles onions, lettuce, tomatoes, mayonnaise, mustard and avocado.  “Hey this is one of my favorite sandwiches, it’s like you read my mind.” “you never know, I might be.”  I looked at her with a shocked look. “Really you can?”  She didn’t answer.  All of us caught fish at the same time. Then Veronica said “I told them to do that!” I just set my sandwich down then grabbed the pole and reeled in the fish, along with all the others.  We took them off the hooks and attached them to the chains.  “Looks like we’re having a fish fry tonight!” Barry said.  The doctor and his associate walked up.  “Hey kids, how’s it going?” “Great Doc. We all caught a few fish for dinner.”  “Oh good, should be nice. Everyone this is Janice, Janice this is everyone.” Each of us walked up and shook her hand and gave her our names. She put out a blanket and they opened up their picnic basket and had their lunch with us. “Hey Doc, I was wondering if we could clean up that barn there and then possible host a dance this evening.  Would that be okay?”  “Oh yeah sure.  I have a group of friends who are in a band I can call them out here if you’d like.”  “Oh could you? That sounds like so much fun!” Jenna said.  “Sure I will call them when I get back to the house.” 06032011

I finished up lunch and then said “Thanks for lunch ladies.  Hey, You ready Freddy?”  “Yeah, right behind you.”  I grabbed all the fish and walked them into the kitchen for the cook to prepare.  “Any specific way you like the fish prepared?”  “Nope, surprise us. Thank you” I answered.  “Hey Freddy I feel like going for a swim. How about you?”  I ran out of the kitchen and up the stairs to our room where I rinsed off a little and then got into my swim trunks.  Freddy got into the shower after me and rinsed off then he got into his swim trunks too.  “last one in is a rotten egg!”  I ran down stairs and he followed me close behind. Once outside we both dove in right about the same time.  “Oh man this feels perfect.  Just before Freddy came up for air two other people jumped into the pool. They weren’t anyone that we had met before. Freddy swam right up next to me coming up for air and looked right at them then asked “Who’s that?”  “Hello, I’m Francis and this is my buddy Freddy.”  “Hi my name if  Van Tsang and this is my brother Trung.”  They swam over to us and shook our hands. 06042011

“So how do you guys know Dr. Fillmore?” I asked.  “We’re his sons.  He adopted us.”  “Oh that’s cool.” Freddy said.  Trung got out of the pool and grabbed a big rubber red ring and tossed it in then said “let’s see who can get it first.” He dove in after it and then so did Freddy.  Freddy came up with the ring in his hand in a half a second.  “Wow impressive.  Trung usually out swims everyone we know.”   “Well, Freddy has an advantage over everyone at the moment.  He’s picked up super hero speed after that meteor hit” I announced.   “Oh right, I did hear something about that.  Are you guys okay. Do you feel weird or anything out of the normal beside that?” “I don’t, but I can’t speak for anyone else. Excuse me.”  I swam a few laps then got up out of the pool and dried off on a chase lounge.  Jenna walked up and said “Hey.”  “Hey back” I replied.  She dove in and just about everyone else followed behind her like little ducklings trailing behind their Mommy.  When she came up she said “Volleyball anyone?” The Fillmore boys were already out and setting up a net.  I decided to pass and go off on my own.  06052011

I went walking along the property line and after a good 20 minutes I cam across metal building.  It looked like a warehouse of some sort.  I could hear someone talking and there were flashing lights showing through the bottom of the closed door.  I carefully opened it and walked in.  The warehouse was filled with metal shelves, everywhere.  It looked like a maze.  I followed the voice and the light to the source and then I ducked behind a desk before she saw me.  I heard her say “An adjustment here and a final tweak there.”  I began to tap into her thought and they were jumping all over the place.  She obviously was very excited about some kind of scientific breakthrough.  I peered over the desk and I saw her tampering with what looked like two very large partially enclosed closets.  They had wires and connectors all throughout. Then she tossed the screw driver on the desk towards me and it landed just shy of my face. I ducked quickly before she could see me.  “That aught to do it.”   She picked up an old hour glass and she set it down in one of the closets.  Turned on the power and all these lights and loud noises burst from it.   Then the hour glass disappeared in thin air. The lights and noises were still on, and then it reappeared in the second cabinet. She ran over and looked at the hour glass then said with an insane laugh “I did it!” 06052011

I tried to leaved as quietly as I came in but that wasn’t going to happen.  I backed up and knocked over an empty tin bucket with an old mop in it.  The clang was loud enough for the lady to shut everything down and ask “Who’s there?  Come out!”  I stood up then said “I’m sorry I got lost and found my way inside.  Please forgive me for interrupting.”  “Oh Hi, please come in. I am so thrilled to have completed this assignment that has taken me just about ten years to complete. I am so happy I could just kiss you!”  She walked over and pulled me into her and kissed me long and hard.  I was so shocked.  I pulled myself away and just then she said “Oh I’m sorry, I’m not usually so forward.”  “Um, it’s okay….I think.”  She sat me down and explained to me everything she had done.  I basically understood because I was inside her brain while she was telling me. “Now if I could only find someone to volunteer.”  “I would love to be your guinea pig.”  She became so excited then she said “Okay stand in here and I am going to teleport you to the other transporter on the other side of the estate.”  I got inside and she started up the machine and in no time I was transported to another end of the property.  This looked like a privately stocked compound.  There was supplies stocked from the floor to the ceiling.  I was all the sudden curious where it was.  06052011

The machine started up and I vanished. I was back in the same lab where I started.  “Come out, let me look at you.”  She quickly looked at me from head to toe and walked around me checking me out.  “Perfect, now how do you feel?”  “I feel fine nothing is wrong.” I realized I was starving again so I said “Please excuse me I’m feeling hungry.” I left her there and walked back to the estate.  As I was walking I was beginning to feel a little strange.  My body felt light weight all of the sudden.  Then I suddenly disappeared and reappeared in the kitchen. “Wholy shit.”  “AAaaaaahh!” the cook screamed and flipped the pan up and the fish flew up into the air and then back into the pan.   “You scared the shit out of me. I didn’t hear you come in.”  “That’s because I didn’t come in.”  I stopped myself before things got anymore confusing and I ran out of the kitchen and up into my room. All I wanted to do was sit in a nice hot bath and relax then think about what could have went wrong. I started the bath water and then turned it off.  I stripped off my swim suit and sat into the tub and then I fell asleep.  06052011

I woke up still soaking in the tub.  The water wasn’t as warm anymore and I lost track of the time.  I lowered my face down below the water and swished my head and hair around just a little. When I came up out of the water I heard a woman scream.  It startled me and I jumped up to my feel and covered myself with my hands. “What? Who?”  She continued to scream out for her husband “Skipper! Hurry there’s a young man in my bath!”  “No ma’am please I can explain.”  I grabbed a towel and was frantically looking around in shock that I wasn’t any longer in my bathroom.  He came running in saying “What Sonja?”  Just then he tackled me to the floor and shoved a rifle across my neck pushing me down so I couldn’t move. “Who the hell are you and what are you doing here in my wife’s bath?”   “Please, please I don’t mean anyone any harm.  I’m just as confused as you are.  Look at me I’m a young man, naked in a strangers house.  What…what harm could I possible be?”  I read into his mind and could see that I was convincing him.  He let me lose then he helped me to my feet.  “Sonja, please go get him some of my clothes.”  She hurried away. I saw up on the toilet in the bathroom and was trembling.   “My name is Frances Torello.  I am a Junior in High School at William Whitman Senior High.”  I was trying to continue and he interrupted me.  “I read something in the news paper about that school.”  “Yes, it was stuck by a meteorite and I was one of the 14 students effected by it.”  The lady of the house walked in handed me some clothes and then she left.  I changed into them and continued telling this man about my story so far and he listened with great interest.  I finished the story and he sat back then called for his wife again.  “Sonja, get Doug, Ben and Rori on a conference call.  Ask them to come immediately.”   I was still shaken up and confused about what happened.  I wasn’t sure why or how it happened.  I was a little worried that it could happen any given time and that could be dangerous for me.  “Can I offer you a drink, something to eat?” “Yes please something to drink would be nice” I answered.  He showed me to the kitchen where he asked me to sit at the table.  He got me a juice drink from the refrigerator and himself a drink and sat back down beside me. “We’re calling over some special friends of ours who might be able to help you with this problem.”  In a split second three people just appeared out of nowhere into the kitchen with us.  Frances, this is Doug and Ben Parker, and their daughter Rori O’Shae.”  “How do you do?” The older gentlemen asked me as he reached out to shake my hand.  “I’ve been better thank you” I responded. They all sat down at the table and I just listened to Skipper tell them my situation.  06052011

I was probing all their minds to make sense of all of this.  It had dawned on me they were like me but it wasn’t because of some freak meteorite from outer space. “Wait a second, are you all Witches?”  Doug laughed then said “Well, we three practice in the craft.  He pointed to himself and his daughter and said “We’re descendants of The Great and Famous Merlin.”  I laughed and then said “So that’s real?”  Rori spoke up and said “How could you doubt it considering what you’ve been going through and experiencing these past few days?”  “Oh right good point.  So how will you help me?” Then Ben said “We can teach you and your friends how to master the gifts, just so things like this don’t happen to you again.”  “Oh Man that would be great. I mean I can’t speak for everyone else but as far as I am concerned I don’t want anything like this to happen to me ever again.  It literally scared the hell out of me.”  Sonja walked into the kitchen and greeted everyone then said “You, and me both young man!”  06052011

She poured the three of them glasses of wine and sat down at the table with us.  She began to swig straight from the bottle. Rori chuckled then said “Picking up bad habits from Jasper I see Sonja!”  She laughed and took another swig. Skipped stood up and got out a wine glass then walked over to kiss her and set the glass down in front of her. After the kiss she said “I could have very well got it myself dear.”  “I know I just thought it might be nice to fill up the glass, and drink from it.” He stood behind her now, and then asked “So what do we want to do from here?” Doug responded “We need to see that Frances here gets back home safely then we have to talk to the Doctor I suppose.”  With that he said “Babooshka” and the four of us were back in my room.   I was a little freaked out about the clothes I was wearing and looked down.  “Would you please excuse me while I change into my own clothes and then I will take you to meet the Doctor.”  “Of course we can wait, take your time.”  I got some clothes from my closet and went to the bathroom to change.  While I was changing Freddy walked in.  “OH Hello. I’m Freddy.”  “Hey Freddy I’m Ben and this is Rori and Doug.”  06052011

I came out of the bathroom and got a pen and paper and then I wrote out all fourteen students names and what their special abilities were.

I said “I’m not sure 100% if that’s everything but I know that’s how things were before I left.”  Rori asked “So before you went into the transporter that the scientist built you weren’t able to teleport yourself is that correct?”  “Yes that’s correct.”  Freddy said “Hey, what’s going on here?”   I explained everything to Freddy and everyone was interested in hearing me tell it.  “So when could we meet the doctor?  Perhaps this scientist?” “I can take you there right now if you’d like.”  Freddy and I walked them downstairs and we went to see the doctor in his office first.  I introduced him to the guests and then I explained to him what happened to me.  He called in Janice who is the scientist and then he asked me and Freddy to excuse them while they talk.  I didn’t care because I was hungry and really was looking forward to eating some of the fish we caught earlier that the cook was preparing for us.   06052011

I went into the kitchen to talk to the cook.  “Here you go. This is all that’s left.” he slid over a plate to me at the counter where I sat in a stool beside Freddy and ate the most delicious fish I had ever had. “Thanks this is fantastic!”  “I know right?” Freddy said.  After lunch, I went back to find Doug, Bill and Rori.   They were all outside talking with the Doctor and his associates.  I over heard them making plans to build housing for the families and move everyone on site.  “Are you planning on moving all of our families out here?”  “Yes, were thinking about developing a neighborhood where everyone can live together her on the property.  What do you think about that?” “I would like it. I miss my family.”  Doug said “Consider it done.”  Then Bill said “We break ground first thing in the morning.”  Then Rori said “We are building a neighborhood of twenty homes, on one street and then a local grocery store, café, and gas station so people can feel independent, to come and go as they wish.”  06062011

After the meetings with the Doctor and his staff, Rori came over to me while I was sitting out by the pool reading some of my school books. “Hey, I wanted to give you something to help keep you in control of your teleporting powers.”  I was both curious and interested to see what she was talking about.  She pulled out of her purse a leather wrist band with a single gem displayed in the center of it. “May I?”  “Yeah sure.”  She placed it on my wrist and then turned it over to tie it on. “Now this will only work for you while you’re wearing it.  You shouldn’t need to take it off. It’s water resistant and everything.”  “Thank you so much.”  “Oh it’s my pleasure.”  She said good bye and left with Doug and Bill.  Before leaving Doug said “We’ll be back in the morning to start the construction.”  “See you then” I said.  06062011

After they left a few older hot rods pulled up.  “Who’s this in the muscle cars?” Barry asked.  “Oh it’s the band they’re setting up in the barn.  Did you forget we’re having a dance party tonight?”  “Oh yeah I did forget.”  “I overheard the doctor mention to the guests that our parents were invited too.”  “Oh cool, good I miss mine.”  He left and went into the house.  I sat on the front porch swing and continued to read my studies.  Jenna came out and sat beside me on the swing.  She had her own school books to read.  We didn’t speak.  We just continued to read and swing.  06062011

“I heard you had a little experience with your new found powers.” She said.  “Uh, not by my choice.”  “I would have loved to have seen that.” “Yeah I bet.”  “So where’d you get that nice bracelet?”  “A friend gave it to me.  It’s supposed to be charmed or something.”  “Do you think they have another one? I like it.”  “Not sure but I could ask her tomorrow.” “Could I see it?”  I lifted up my wrist and she grabbed it.  I got goose bumps all over.  “Wow, I give you goose bumps?”  “What? NO!” I rubbed my arm until they went away. “I just caught a cool breeze is all.”  “Oh I see. Well it’s beautiful, and really cool.” I pulled my arm back and then said “Thanks.”  We continued to study and never said a word the remainder of the time. 06062011

The boys all walked up to us and asked if we were attending the dance.  “Yes of course.” “Let’s go get ready!” Freddy said to me.  “Okay I’m right behind you.”  I turned to Jenna and asked “I’ll see you there?”  “Yes, where else would I be?”  “Okay see you.”  I ran inside and picked out some nice clothes and shoes.  All the guys were dressing up.  I wasn’t going to wear church clothes or anything but I put on my brand new pair of black Lucky brand jeans and my red Converse high tops, with a new burgundy long sleeve dress shirt. I sat down on my bed and watched Freddy pick out and put on his clothes. “That’s what you’re wearing?”  “What do you mean?”  “Dude that shirt sucks, here wear one of my brand new ones.”  I tossed it on his bed and he took off the old shirt he had on and then put the new one on.  “Now we’re talking.” 06062011

My parents showed up and came to the door and then they came upstairs to our room.  “Hey Son” Dad said first and hugged and kissed me.  Then Mom came in and did the same.  Dad went over to Freddy and said “Hi Son number two.”  They both went over and gave him hugs and kisses too. “Are your parents coming?” Mom asked.  “They’re going to be late cause they worked late but yeah they’ll be here.”  “Sounds like a fun time.  I hear the band is really good” Dad said.  Mom mentioned “We’ve been looking forward to it, cause this was a stressful week.” I said “Dad you should see the fishing pond here it’s fantastic.” “I will, soon Son.”  We all walked out of the room then down the stairs and headed out towards the barn where the dance was.  “Here’s our new fishing hole Dad.” I pointed and he said “It looks great!”  We walked into the barn and there were balloons and streamers, with decorated tables and tons of food and drinks.  The few hosts and hostesses who were there showed us to everything and said “Help yourself and have fun!”  “Thanks” Dad & Mom said.  I smiled, then nodded.  They grabbed adult beverages while Freddy and I had some punch. 06062011

The stage was all set up for a band but no one was there yet.  The group arrived all at once and parents came in a couple at a time some with our other siblings. Everyone greeted each other and that’s when the band came out.  They introduced themselves and began playing.  Mom and Dad went out and started dancing first and all the parents who already had their drinks went out too.  I looked over and saw Jenna standing there with the other girls so I hit Freddy in the stomach and said “Watch and learn.”  I walked over and said “Hi.”  Jenna said “Hi. She looked so beautiful in her nice dress and matching shoes.  “You look beautiful ”I said with a smile.  She smiled back and said “Thank you.”  I took her hand and led her out to the dance floor.  We danced about four songs.  Then there was a slow one.  That’s when Freddy asked one of the gals to dance and he showed up out there beside us.  After the song ended they took a little intermission and that’s when we went to the tables for some snacks and beverages. 06062011

Once I got my plate and Jenna got hers I suggested we go sit outside by the lake.  There was a nice bench out there facing it.  We want out and started eating and drinking and gazing at the stars.  At that moment there was a shooting star and we both closed our eyes and made a wish.  I looked over at her and she still had her eyes shut. I said “You see that shooting star?”  “Yeah, I just finished making a wish on it.” “Cool, it’s such a nice night.  I’m having a good time.  How about you?”  She said “Yeah, I am.”  We just continued to eat and not speak.  The band started up again and we just sat there gazing up at the stars. Berry came out and started ruff housing with a few of the other guys and that’s when we decided to get up and go back in. 06062011

I sat on the seat and watched Mom and Dad having so much fun. Jenna went out to dance with a few of the girls after I said I wanted to sit this one out.  Freddy came over and sat beside me.  “Everything okay?”  “Yep. Are you having fun?”  “Yeah this is fun.  I hope we do this often.”  I was checking out the band and realized that Rori was up there.  I thought to myself could she be any cooler? She smiled and winked at me and I pointed to my bracelet and smiled back at her.  I heard some screaming and yelling coming from outside and so Freddy and I ran over and went out to see what was wrong.  Barry was fighting with some guys dressed in black ninja suits. We ran over and started fighting with them too.  All the sudden  Trung and Van ran up wearing white Gi’s and were helping us fight against them.  This big bang happened that sounded like a dynamite and this odd looking older man showed up and grabbed Freddy and then he disappeared.  I noticed the band stopped playing and everyone inside had run outside the barn to see what was going on and before I could think Rori grabbed me and we vanished too. 06062011

We appeared behind some thick brush but we could see through the top of it and I saw that man forcing Freddy into some small run down shack.  My blood began to boil and all I wanted to do was run in there and get him out.  Rori whispered “Sshhhh, just watch and listen. Don’t do anything right now.”  Four other strange people flew in and went inside. They didn’t look like nice people either. “Rori, who are they and what do they want with him? He’s never hurt a single soul.”   As I said that I could feel my throat tighten up and hurt with throbbing pain. I was starting to have an anxiety attack.  I never had one before, but I knew what they were because my Mother always had them.  Rori magically got me a bottled water then handed it to me.  “Frances, calm down.” Right when she said that as I was drinking the water something came over me and the panic attack disappeared.  “Now what?”  “Just wait.”  I began to probe her mind and I realized she was sending an SOS to her two Dad’s and a few of her friends.  They appeared behind us and I said “Hi guys.”  “Hi Frankie.  You okay?”  “I’m scared.” Doug said “don’t worry we’re trained and skilled to deal with this sort of stuff.”  I couldn’t take the suspense anymore I probed everyone’s thoughts and got the gist of what was going down.  I realized I didn’t really know any of these people all that well.  I began to think to myself, if I could only get in there with out being seen.  Before I knew it I was fading from visible to invisible. This was shocking but I liked it.  I decided to transport myself inside.  Just as I did I felt a sharp pain in my side.  Someone inside had run me in with a sward, right through my side.  I could see the blood but not me, then I appeared.  Freddy was hot tied and gagged, on the floor only a few feet away from me. 06062011

I cried out “Rori.” then fell to the floor. Rori appeared, and she and the old man began magically fighting.  One person at a time appeared inside and took one of the other guys to battle. I crawled to Freddy and was slowly untying his ropes.  He as fast as lightening ran out and then ran back in.  he had found a club outside and started beating all the people who kidnapped him. I head Doug chant some spell and then all the bad guys turned into dust.  Rori and Bill got glass jars and wisk brooms and swept up the dust piles.  Doug walked over set his hands upon me and healed my cut.  I was weak and had lost all my energy and could barely get out “Thanks.”  We all teleported back to the Ranch estate and then Rori, Doug and Ben took the jars and left. 06062011

Both Freddy and I went up to our bedroom and fell asleep.  In the morning he woke up and then sat beside me on my bed waiting for me to wake up.  I opened my eyes and saw him laying beside me.  “Hey.”  I rubbed my eyes and then sat up against the headboard and said “Hey.” “Thanks for being there for me last night.” I said “Are you kidding me? When are you going to get it in your thick skull that you’re nobody’s bitch but mine?”  I thumped him upside his head and he grabbed me and hugged me.  I hugged him back.  I pulled away after a long while and said “I want answers. Today do you want to go see Rori and her family and demand that they tell us what’s going on?” ‘Yeah, but they’re the good guys don’t forget.”  “I know.”  I jumped up and got into the shower and then got out.  Freddy took his while I was getting dressed.  I waited for him and someone knocked on the door.  I opened it and it was the Doctor.  “Hi Doc.”  “Hi Frankie, are you boys okay?”  “Yeah we were extremely drained of energy by the time we got home so we went straight to bed.  Freddy came out of the bathroom in his towel and said “Oh hey Doc.”  “Hi Freddy, I just came by to check in on you boys and see if you were okay.”  Freddy answered while getting dressed “Yeah we’re fine.” “Well you let me know if there’s anything you need.”  He left the room and Freddy asked “You ready?”  “Yeah give me your hand.”  He held my hand and I concentrated on Rori. 06062011

The place where we appeared  didn’t strike me as any place like home.  Freddy noticed too and said “This looks like France.”  The house was gigantic.  It was made of large bricks and had a French style to it.  The front courtyard was made of cobblestone and there was a large fountain with a statue of a naked man and water coming out of it.  “Come on.”  We walked up the stairs and knocked on the door.  Just as it opened I looked at Freddy and he shrugged his shoulders.  “Hello?”  The man who opened the door was a taller man with dark hair and big blue eyes.  “What can I do for you?”  He didn’t have a French accent and he looked like he was American.  “Um, we’re here to see Rori, Doug and Ben.”  “Oh yes, please come in.”  He opened the door and waited for us to enter before he closed it behind us then he said “I’m Matthew” he paused then continued “Family.” I just smiled and shook his hand. “I’m Frances and this is Frederick.”  Freddy cleared his throat and corrected me “Freddy.” “Please follow me.”  06062011

He led us up a long hallway where there were doors on every side of us.  It looked as if it would go on forever.  We came to a large door and he slowly opened it.  It was some sort of a conference room with a huge table and chairs surrounding them.  I looked at the jars on the table and noticed each one was labeled with a name. “Hi boys.”  Rori said as she kissed both our cheeks to greet us.  Then Doug and Ben did the same.  A blond man with curly hair walked in and he was wearing cowboy boots and what looked like rawhide pants and a loose fitting pirate shirt, and matching vest.  He was carrying a jug marked with two red X’s.  He popped open the cork, took a swig from it and it reminded me of the other night when Sonja drank from her bottle of wine just like him.  “Hey Jasper, this is Freddy and Frankie.”  “Well, how do you do boys?”  He reached out and gave us both some pretty hearty handshakes with a extremely big friendly smile.  I thought to myself, man this guy is so charming.  I instantly aspired to be more like him from now on. 06062011

Rori spoke up “You ready Daddy?” “Yep you guys ready?”  Everyone nodded and we just stood there wondering what they were talking about.  The four of them held hands and spoke a chant that sounded like it was in Latin or something and repeated it over and over again. The jars one at a time turned into the people that they were before only they were miniature.  Freddy started to laugh and I chuckled.  “Belmont what’s your interest in Freddy?” Doug asked.  The old man who took him answered “This group of children are written in the stars as the group of kids who will rob us of our Earthy powers, We tried to stop them before it happens.”  “You do realize we could rob you of your powers any time, so why pick on them?”  “There’s something about these fourteen that is going to change the ways of the old magic.  We don’t want that.” Then Rori said “Change is inevitable. Inside and outside of the magical community.  It changes with time.  You of all people should know that.” “We weren’t intending to hurt anyone.  That boy broke in and we attacked him.” He said pointing at me.  I got an urge to flick him off the table after saying that and Rori shook her head no. “We’re going to let you go but not with your full powers.”  She cast a spell to only allow them half their powers and the rest of the powers she sealed in a sacred hand carved wooden puzzle. Then Ben blew on them and they disappeared.  He said “Sorry about this boys.  You should be safe from them now.”  06062011

I was feeling a little anxious.  I looked at Freddy and I could tell he was picking up on my anxieties and he started feeding off mine and said “What the hell?” Doug put his arms around the both of us and said “Please come with me to the library and we can explain everything down there.  Once into the library I was just so amazed at the size of it and the amount of books that they had.  “This library is like four times bigger than the one we have at the high school”  Freddy admitted.  Jasper said “Anything and everything you ever need to know about magic, and alchemist, the craft, and astrological mysteries is all here in these books.” Doug got a book off the shelf then set it on the table and thumbed through it until he got to a spot about the fourteen youngsters. “The stars tell of a meteor that hits earth. Then there is a power transference that the meteor carried which would be given to fourteen children. Seven young men and seven young women.   It is written that they would grow, and their powers would grow.  It says here the powers are like nothing the planet has ever experienced in the past. The power is tied in with the love in each of their hearts to help people in need.”  He looked up at us and then said “That’s pretty impressive.” I wasn’t really sure what all this meant but I was willing to accept it considering before any of this happened we all were just fourteen normal high school students with nothing out of the ordinary.  Now we were all special super humans with strange abilities.  06062011

“Do you boys have to run off or can you spend the day here with us?”  I looked at Freddy and he looked at me and we just smiled.  I said “This place is amazing.  I want to move in.”  Freddy said “I’m with him.”  Jasper jumped up out of his chair then said “Allow me to give you boys the executive VIP tour.”  Rori, Doug and Ben all said together “Their still minors so take it easy on them Jasper.”   He stopped turned around then said “Ya’ll make me out to be the red devil.”  He laughed and they laughed and we just laughed out of courtesy.   He showed us the pool, sauna, hot tub, horse stables, old shack, gardens, everything.  After the tour we were hungry.  They had chefs, and waiter staff and housekeepers.  Everyone seemed to be nice and happy.  We walked into the dining room and there were places set for everyone who was there and eating with us.  “Please sit.”  We joined them and then Jasper said “You know I been thinking, we should introduce the boys to Mama and her clan.  They’re not that far away from them and she could keep her eye on them.”   “That’s a great idea, I will get her on the phone after dinner.”  “Or I could pop them over to meet her in person.”   “Let’s talk about that after we eat”  Doug replied. 06062011

“They’re breaking ground at the ranch. The place is going to be noisy and messy for a while.” Doug said as he passed over the plate of food.  “Thank you.” I said and took it from him.  I loaded up my plate and then handed it to Freddy.  “If you guys want you could stay here with us for a little longer than a day.  I called the doctor and your parents and everyone was cool with it.” Ben said.   Rori got a really big smile on her face and said “You boys are in for a treat!” Freddy and I just looked at one another and said “Yeah, that sounds fine.”  “I’ll have a room made up for you.”  Just then Matthew left and took care of that for us. Another young man walked in and sat down.  Boys this is my little brother Timothy.  He and Matthew are married.”  “Oh cool.”  Freddy said and then I said “Pleased to meet you.” He stood up and reached across the table to shake our hands.  “Good to meet you too.” 06072011

Matthew came back in and sat down beside Timothy.  Another couple of guys walked in and they looked like they were related.  “Luigi, and Lucas this is Frances and Frederick.”  They shook our hands and kissed our cheeks and then sat down to join us for lunch.  “How many people live here?”  Freddy asked.  “You know we never can tell from day to day.”  Ben said with a laugh.  “That’s so true.  We have a huge family and circle of friends.  Everyone is welcome, anytime” Rori explained.  Then Doug said “Now you two are a nice addition.” I was honored.  It’s not every day you meet people with this volume of wealth. 06072011

After lunch Freddy and I felt like a swim.  Rori said “Please allow me to show you to your room.  I took it upon myself to pick up a few other clothes for you.  I own a clothing company so it’s my pleasure to fit you boys in my products.  It’s good, free advertising.”  We walked into the room and it was so huge.  The bed was as big as a truck.  I looked around for another bed and there wasn’t one.  Freddy said “That’s my bed, where’s yours?”  Then Rori said, “there’s plenty of room in that one for you and ten of your best friends.  “I wouldn’t want to sleep in the same bed with ten of my best friends” I said.   “Check out these duds.”  She opened the closets and both sides were full of clothes.  “Everything you need should be in order. Please let me know if we forgot anything.”  I will leave you two alone.  Have fun.”  She left and I went through the drawers and found a few swim trunks.  Freddy and I changed and then we went downstairs to the pool.  Nobody was out there. He dove in first and I went up to the top of the diving board and then did my famous double flip dive. 06072011

Two guys jumped into the pool who we hadn’t met yet.  They swam over and up to us and then the taller guy said “Hey I’m Baltazar, and this is my brother Josef.”  They looked like brothers.  Black hair, gray eyes, kind of medium swimmers builds. “Oh hey, I’m Frankie and this is my best friend, Freddy.” Freddy said “We’re visiting from the states.” “Cool, it’s nice to meet you.”   Baltazar had a nerf football that he was tossing around with his brother.  The four of us tossed the ball around for about an hour, up until Jasper showed up and stripped off all his clothes and then jumped into the pool.  We got out and headed back to the room to change out of our trunks and into shorts and t’s.  06072011

“So what do you want to do now?”  I asked.  “Not sure.  Jaspers a wild one huh?”  “He’s free spirited for sure.”  “Let’s go find those guys and see what there is to do out here.” Freddy said as we walked down stairs.  I raced out to the barns and then got one of the biggest horses ready to ride.  Freddy was finished before me and he took off down the pastures.  I got up on mine and chased after him. We came to a lake just over the hill and trotted around it to check the place out. “Hey here’s a trail let’s follow it.”  I just rode behind him and we went off for about a few hundred yards, and then we came to an old abandoned house.  Freddy hopped off the horse and tied it to the tree.  I said “What are you doing?” “I just want to check it out. Aren’t you curious?”  “No not really.”  I hopped off the horse and tied him nex to the other one.   06072011

I walked up to the porch, and looked around. This cottage had seen better days.  The roof needed repairs, the windows were all broke out.  The stones were flaking away.  We entered the doorway at the same time and in that moment everything we knew we had seen was no longer there.  The inside of this cottage was brand new and un weathered.  I looked around and the place appeared to be empty.  A woman appeared and she spoke.  “Hello my name is Sartell.  I come from a distant planet not that much different from your own.”  She went into details about how her people were here before and they left the magic that is being used currently and that they have a new magic that they want to give the selected chosen few.  That would be me, Freddy and the others of our group.  She continued “I would ask only one thing that you bring the others here to meet me and then I can give them the full powers that they were supposed to receive as I will give them to you right now.”  She lifted up her hands and held her arms above our heads and power traveled from her into us.  She finished the transfer, and before she left she said “Please return with all of the others in your group.” Then she vanished.  06072011

I looked at Freddy and said “Why is it our job to get everyone else in here?”  “I know that’s something I don’t want to have to deal with.”  I thought about each of them one at a time and so did Freddy and they appeared.  Sartell blessed them with their new powers one at a time and then sent them back to the States.  By the look on their faces, you could tell they weren’t really believing that is all wasn’t anything more that just a dream each person was having.  When she finished with the last person Freddy and I left back on the horses and went to the Châteaux.  06082011

I cleaned up the horses, and then the saddles and put them away.  Freddy went inside to shower and change.  While I was in the stables Rori came in.  “Hi Frankie.”  “Oh hey Rori. What’s up?” “I was just doing a little fortune telling and I came across an incident that happened here on the estate.” “What did you see?” I asked.  “I saw you and Freddy inside the old run down house up off the trails.  There was a woman there too.  Then a whole group of you kids showed up. What’s going on in there?”  “I was going to tell you guys about that when I got inside. We were curious about the place and once we went inside it was perfectly brand new.  Magically of course, then this stranger appeared and she said she had gifts for the fourteen of us.  Freddy and I willed them there to receive their gifts from their sleep states back in the states.  This probably will come out as they realize they all thought they had the same dream.  I will tell them what really happened when we get back home.” “What is the gift she gave you?”  Rori asked.  “Se said they are the original reason that the power exists on earth and they brought it here thousands of years ago.  The new gift is a more advanced and new power.”  “That’s very interesting.” “Yeah I know, we’re new at the craft so we will probably need to get used to it and practice a lot before we could even think about mastering it.”  “The bracelet should help you hone in on it.”  She pointed out.  “Oh yeah.” “Well come inside with me I have something that I would like to show you.”  We went inside and then down to the basement. 06082011

She walked up to a huge empty book with a thick leather cover.  This is your spell book.  Right now it’s empty but as you grow in your powers so will it.  You don’t have to write in it all you have to do is think about the magic spell and it will put itself inside it.  The reason we write out our spells is because we want preserve them.  The more you use the same spell the more powerful it becomes. This is a book that will help other Wicca’s become as powerful as you in time even after you’ve come and gone. Would you promise me that you will uphold the sanctity of the knowledge and respect of the craft and keep it documented?” She asked. “Yes, of course. I will do what I can.”  I touched the book and thought of a spell inside my mind that the book would record everything on it’s own as it happened.  I never told Rori about it, but it just appeared into the book so she could read about it. 06082011

She thanked me and left me alone with the book.  I concentrated on the book and then it split into fourteen books, one for every person in our group.  The first written spell was the one I thought out about documenting everything each of us did in our own spell books.  I sent the books off to be with their masters. Mine and Freddy’s stayed there with us at the Châteaux.  06082011

It was just about suppertime and so the Châteaux cooks were busy preparing dinner for everyone. Freddy and I realized one thing that had changed with our new blessed powers was our intelligence.  We were smarter than we had ever been.  I just figured since it happened to us it must have happened to our group as well.  I went looking for Doug and Ben, and left Freddy in the bedroom.  He wanted to get in a nap before dinner.  I came upon the sauna and so I slowly walked into the men’s locker room area, where I found Timothy and Matthew changing into their towels to go into the sauna.  “Hey Frankie, you want to hit the sauna with us?”  “I was looking for Doug and Ben, have you seen them?”  “Yeah they’re already in there.  Here towel up and join us.”  Matthew said while tossing me a towel.  I stripped down and wrapped the towel around me and entered the sauna with them. It was dry and hot, but  once the steam bath generator kicked in you could barely see through the thick steam in the air. “Hey Frankie, this is our newest feature on our sauna.  It’s a steam generator, and this is supposed to get so thick in here” Doug said.  Then Ben spoke up, “it’s good for the lungs and asthma.”  I just sat back and relaxed.  I was beginning to doze off. I think most of us were.  06082011

I woke up to both Timothy and Matthew asleep on my shoulders. I was sitting in the middle of them.  I carefully tried to get myself out from in between them with out bothering them. Doug and Ben came out with me and then said “Now we hit the hot tub, you coming?” “Yeah sure.” I followed them to the hot tub, which was the biggest one I had ever seen. “Hope you don’t mind us old men hopping in au natural.”  “Nope that’s what I intend to do too.”  I dropped my towel and climbed in.  Then a waiter came up and he handed me a bottled water. “Thank you.”  He gave Ben and Doug some champagne. “Did you want some champagne?”  I looked at Doug and he said “Here in France there’s no legal age limit to dinking alcohol if you’re in the company of an adult, so if you want one, then have one. This is very expensive champagne. I think you will like it.”  “Yeah sure”  I set the water battle down and then I took a flute.  “Cheers.”  We clinked our glasses and sipped from them.  My lips puckered up from the sweet-sour taste of the champagne.  Matthew and Timothy came over dropped their towels and climbed into the hot tub too. “Sorry we fell asleep on you Young man.”  “It’s okay I fell asleep in there too.”  The waiter came back and gave them some champagne too.  06082011

I finished the champagne and I was feeling really light headed.  “Okay guys I’m gonna go. See you at dinner.”  I climbed out of the hot tub then fell.  After I picked myself up I grabbed my water and winked at the fine gentlemen then grabbed my towel and wrapped it around myself and went into the locker room to shower.  After the shower I got another towel and my old clothes and wrapped myself up and went straight to the bedroom.  I walked in and found Freddy still sleeping.  I dropped the clothes on the floor with the robe and just climbed into the bed up against him and fell asleep.  I woke up to him saying “Frankie! Jesus where are your clothes man?”  “Huh? Oh, I was in the sauna and then the hot tub and I never made it to get dressed.”  A server walked in with some hot tea, and then left.  I got up then dressed and we sipped our tea out on the balcony.  06082011

“So where is this sauna and hot tub?”  “It’s over beyond the pool. There’s a men and women’s locker room, with shower, then a sauna, and steam room, then a huge hot tub.  I was there with Matthew, Timothy, Doug, and Ben.”  “..and everyone was naked?”  “We had towels on in the sauna, then nothing in the hot tub. I had my first glass of champagne there.”  “Oh wow, cool.  Would you take me there tomorrow?”  “Oh hell yeah.” After our tea we went down to the dining room and sat down with everyone as we were served dinner.  I really savored every bite.  Once dinner was over I wanted to just go read. I found the library and sat in there reading until I felt tired. Then I went to bed.  Freddy went for a swim after dinner and then he showered and came to bed too.  We weren’t used to sleeping in the same bed together, because of the size of it, it really didn’t seem like such a big deal.  06082011

I woke up to Freddy snuggling me, and so I pushed him off and then got up and went to take a bubble bath.  Just as the tub was filled I slipped in.  A server walked in with a tray and some coffee.   “Good Morning. Let me know if there is anything else you will need.”  I cleared my throat and then said “Thank you.”  After a little while Freddy came in and used the toilet then he got into the shower.  He was talking to me while in there.  “What’s the plans for today?”  “I didn’t make any. Is there something you had special in mind?”  “Yeah I wanted to head out to the beach and maybe do some wind surfing.”  ‘Niice” I said.  Do you think Rori would be interested in taking us? Or maybe Matthew or Timothy?”  “I’m not sure it doesn’t hurt to ask.” 06082011

I got out of the tub toweled off and then got dressed.  There was a light knock on the door and then  it opened.  “Hey boys, you have plans today?”  It was Jasper. “We were thinking about going wind surfing out at the coast. Why?”  “Well, because I was hoping to take you to the bayou, and introduce you to Mama and her clan. It would only be for the day.” I looked at Freddy and he nodded.  “Yeah sure let us get ready. Give us ten minutes.”  Jasper left and we got dressed and then he came back in after about fifteen minutes.  “You ready?” Before either of us could answer Jasper touched his nose and we vanished.  We reappeared at this little river shack’s dock.  It had two air fan boats and an outdoor kitchen, bbq. “Hey follow me.”  He unlocked the door and we walked in.  “This place is nice”  I said. “Yeah Doug and Ben remolded it. This is the home where Doug grew up.  Above the garage is another apartment where his brother and sister in law live.”  Freddy had a pale stoic look on his face and before I could ask what was wrong I read his mind. He was scared to death of gators.  He walked out to the deck and I heard him saying something. I walked out and he was finishing up a spell.  “I’m repelling them by casting a spell that makes them think I smell bad.”  I busted out laughing. “That’s clever bro, but you better make sure it doesn’t carry over to the girls.”  He laughed and hit me and we went back inside.  06082011

“Okay I got the keys.”  Jasper tossed me a set and then he said, “You boys take that boat and try to keep up.”  He jumped on the last boat and he started it up and sped off.  I turned on our boat and Freddy untied it then I hit the throttle full forward and sped up just behind him.  We raced though the bayou weaving in and out of shrubs, and debris.  I wasn’t sure what we hit but it caused our boat to become air born.  Freddy was holding onto the leg of the aluminum seat, while I pushed myself up into my seat. I could hear Freddy chanting again while the boat flipped once and continued going up into the air.  We landed on the river in the upright position and continued racing to catch up to Jasper. “Are you okay?”  I screamed. “He nodded and just sat back down beside me. 06082011

We came to a huge dock and that’s where Jasper slowed down and then parked his air boat and tied it up.  We pulled up behind his and he said “Toss me the rope.”  Freddy did so he could tie us up too. When we got onto the dock Jasper laughed. “What the hell happened back there?”  “I’m not sure we hit something and flipped, nearly wrecked the boat.” Freddy said “Probably one of the damn Gators!”  “This is Mama’s place.”  We walked up the dock and pushed out of the way a thick purple curtain.  “Oh My Gawd, Jasper!”  This thick African American woman said as walked up to us. “Who are these fine young-ns?”  She had the biggest smile and the friendliest face and eyes. “These boys are Frances and Freddy, visiting us in France but they are locally from upstate.”  “A you da Blue Grass Folks, well welcome to the Acadian territory.” She walked us in and sat us down at the table and then she asked “What’ll you have?”  Although it was breakfast time when we left France, it was suppertime here.  I said “Surprise me.”  “Three Mama’s specials coming right up!”  06082011

A band got up on stage and they began to play.  Jasper left and went somewhere.  “You want to shoot a few games of pool while we wait?”  “Yeah sure.”  We walked over and Freddy racked up.  Just about the time we finished the first game the food was ready.  We sat down to eat and Mama came over and sat beside us. We told her about the group of kids from William Whitman Senior High and the meteor.  She had mentioned that she read something about it in the paper.  Jasper began explaining to her what happened to all of us and how we would up meeting Doug, Ben and Rori. After we ate we thanked Mama and then before it started to get dark we went back to the cabin.  06082011

Once we parked the boats and tied them up Jasper said “Okay we could stay here but it’s night time and there’s not too much to do here in the night but to get drunk, or we could head back to the Châteaux."  Before I answered he touched his nose and we were back in France sometime mid afternoon. “Thanks boys.” “Thank you Jasper” I said.  “Okay now let’s go sit in the sauna.”  I showed Freddy where it was and we walked into the men’s locker room, undressed and grabbed our towels then we wrapped ourselves and went inside.  It was already so steamy inside. I had to feel around for the bench.  I felt it and began to sit down when Freddy sat down on my lap. “Oh sorry I can’t see.” He slid off and then we both laid down with our heads beside one another. “Man this feels so great.”  “Yeah I know. Was that your first time to the bayou?”  Yes my parents weren’t too keen on it.”  “Yeah me too.” I said. 06082011

Someone walked in but neither one of us could see them.  They didn’t say a word they just came in and sat down.  “Hello?” I said.  Then this man said “Hi.” “Hi who’s there?”  “I’m Luigi.” “Oh hey Luigi, it’s me Frankie with Freddy.”  “Hey boys. Are you having a nice visit?”  “Hell yes, this is fantastic!” Freddy said. “Yes, it’s so nice here.  I can’t imagine anyone ever wanting to leave.” I commented. “We have a few places in Italy that are just as nice only it’s missing the company.” Luigi said.  After a good ten minutes I was ready to get out.  “Hey Freddy, I’m going to go sit in the hot tub now. Are you coming?”  “Yes I’m right behind you.”  “See you later Luigi.” “I will be over there in a little while.” He said.  We walked out and then went to the hot tub. I dropped my towel and climbed in and Freddy hesitated then he did too. “What’s the matter? Are you being shy with me?”  “I am feeling a little modest yes.”  I scooted over right beside him when he sat down and I put my arm around him. “Wait until the waiter shows up with drinks.” Just then a man showed up holding a silver tray with flutes of Champagne again. “Sirs.” I grabbed one and Freddy grabbed one and we clinked them and sipped. I watched his face to see his expression.  He got an instant smile and glow.  “This shit rocks!” “I know right?”  The waiter left two bottled waters a fresh set of towels and he picked up our used ones off of the floor. “This lifestyle is so out of this World.” Freddy said.  “I know, did you ever imagine we would be here doing this right now, I mean in our whole lifetime?”  He said “Me yeah but you? No!”  We laughed and sipped the champagne.  06082011

Luigi walked up and I had remembered meeting him and his brother at dinner.  “Hey.”  He dropped his towel and got in.  “Are you boys dating?”  Freddy spit up his champagne because he had already taken a sip when Luigi asked. “No…. We’re best friends”.  Freddy was going to slide away from me but I wouldn’t let him.  I pulled him into me closer. “Uh….yeah….we’ve known each other since we were two.”  “How old are you now?”  “We’re seventeen.”  “Oh cool.” The server came and handed Luigi a flute of champagne and a bottled water and then he took his used towel too. “I’m sorry I didn’t mean anything by my question.”  “It’s okay. We’re very opened minded about the LGBT community.” I said. “Both me and my brother like men.” He admitted.   “We’re young and who knows, maybe Freddy here will finally realize how interesting men are to him, and how he’s in love with them.”  Freddy finished his champagne and then he pinched my nipple and swam over to the other side away from me.  06082011

The server came by again and he took our old flutes and replaced them with the new ones.  I stayed in until I finished it and then I hopped out. “See you guys later.”  I wrapped my towel around me and went to get my clothes out of the locker room, then I went up to the room.  I showered and got dressed and then I sat out on the balcony to read. Freddy came up showered, then dressed and met me out there.  “Hey, you ok?”  “Yes, you?”  “Yeah, I like Luigi, he and I were talking about Italy.  He’s a nice guy.”  “Yes, I think I like him too.”  “He asked me if you and I wanted to join him and his brother to go into town for dinner and a movie.”  “What did you tell him?”  I told him you wouldn’t mind and neither would I.”  “Sure, what time?” “We meet them in the foyer at seven.”  I checked my watch and it was a few hours away. 06092011

I decided to wear some warmer clothes so I went in and picked out what I was going to wear out.  Freddy picked out his outfit and then we changed and met the guys in the foyer.  “Hi Luigi, hey Lucas.”  “Hello. You guys ready?” “Yep” I said.  “Let’s go.”  In the driveway was a nice new car.  We got in and Lucas drove.  Upon entering the city Luigi asked “Is there anything specific that you guys want to watch?”  “We like action flicks, and also sci-fi.” Freddy said.  Lucas parked the car and we got out and then walked to the cinema.  After getting our tickets and drinks with food, we sat down in the mid section.  Freddy on one side of me and Lucas on the other. Luigi was on the other side of Freddy.  The movie started and we all sat and watched it.  We passed popcorn to share and what ever candies we bout with each other.  After the movie we went to dinner. Then to a local club to dance.  The dance floor was packed, standing room only.  People were just standing in place and jumping up and down.  The DJ really rocked the place. Freddy and I were sandwiched in between a few hot women.  We had big smiled on our faces.  Before the club closed Lucas and Luigi were dancing with a couple of guys that they met, and then they said they were going to leave with them, so we needed to call them when we were ready to go.  I told them we could manage getting back with out them so not to worry. We closed the club and then took the girls to their hotel room.  Once at the door they wanted to invite us in so we went in.  There were adjoining rooms and Freddy went with his friend and I stayed with mine.  We both had sex, that night and then left the girls alone, to get some sleep. He and I met outside the room doors, and we just looked at each other and smiled.  He walked up beside me and put his arm around me and asked “Was it everything you imagined it would be?”   I said “It was amazing.”  We teleported back to our room at the Châteaux, showered and went straight to bed.  06092011

I woke up and found Freddy in my arms on my chest, asleep. I just looked at him while he slept. I ran my fingers through his hair and he woke up.  “Hey, good morning.”  “Hi, good morning sunshine, we really should stop meeting like this or people are going to talk.”  He said.  I said “Like who?” Then the server came in and dropped off coffee, fresh pastries and orange juice. “Thanks.”  I said but we didn’t move.  “Like him.” Freddy said.  I kissed him on top of his forehead then jumped out of bed to pour us both a cup of coffee. I went back and climbed under the covers but sat up and sipped my coffee, while handing him his.  He took it and said “Thanks bro.” “What are we going to do today?”  “How about heading to the beach and go windsurfing like we wanted to do?”  “Okay, let’s go slow though, not too fast.”  I said. “Yeah, all that action last night wore me out.” While we were showering and getting dressed Doug and Ben came in and asked us if we wanted to join them on the Yacht?  “We were hoping to head out to the beach and get in some windsurfing. Can we go another time?” “Sure ,no worries.”  Ben said as they left us.  “You ready?”  “Yes.”  We transported ourselves to the beach and rented out windsurfing and went out into the bay.  Surprisingly while we were out there the five of our other boys showed up to join us.  Barry pulled up along side of me and said “Hey dude, where you been?”  “Hey Barry, oh wow everyone’s here.”  “Just us boys. We left the girls at the Châteaux.”   06092011

After spending the whole afternoon wind surfing, we turned in our rigs and all met back up on the beach.  We hugged and shook hands then I asked “So what brings you guys here?”  “Well, the government was really pressuring Doc about seeing us and about the meteor so Doug suggested we come stay with them for a bit until things cool down out there.  Plus with all the construction it’s sort of a noisy mess right  now.” Jason said.  “Cool, ready to head back?”  We all magically went back to the Châteaux. In our room they had added two more beds.  The room didn’t appear any smaller. I looked at Freddy and said, who’s sharing our room ?” Jason said “Just me.  They are bunking the other four two per room with their own beds.”  Freddy said “Good cause I don’t want to bunk with Barry.” Barry chased him around the room but he couldn’t catch him.  I went out to the balcony and sat down to relax.  Jason came out and sat beside me.  All the other guys left.  “Aren’t you tired from the time difference?”  “No not really, I can catch up on sleep tonight.”  “Did you know in France there’s no legal age limit to drink alcohol?”  “No I didn’t.”  He said. “Well technically a minor can not be drunk in public, and also they have to be drinking in the presence of an adult. We’ve been enjoying the champagne here every now and then. Hey, do you want to go sit in the sauna and hot tub with me?”  “Yeah sure lets go.”  We went to the lockers and changed into towels and then went into the sauna.  After the nice long and relaxing sauna we went into the hot tub.  This is where all the guys were. We got in and then were served champagne again.  06092011

“You know Frankie, they’re talking about accelerating our education so we all graduate early ahead of our class because of what happened with the meteor and how smart we all became.”  “I’m not going to allow that to happen.  Most of our class we’ve known all our lives and I want to walk with them come graduation! Mom and Dad know how I feel and they are fighting the board right now.”  “Yeah but they’re the only parents who are.  All the rest support the decision. It’s what they feel is best for everyone.”  “That’s bullshit, they should leave us alone and let things happen like usual!” Freddy snapped.   “I’m planning on finishing up my Senior year on campus.” I said.  “Yeah me too.” Freddy said. 06092011

I finished lunch and was ready to head back. We packed up and the packed ourselves back over the hill then around and down into the other side.  By the time we arrived back to the house all I wanted to do was go take a nap.  I showered then climbed into bed and fell asleep for a few hours.  I felt a cold hand touching my cheek and it woke me up.  I looked up and it was Barry. “Hey what are you doing sleeping the whole afternoon away for?”  “Huh, what?’ What’s going on?”  “A bunch of us wanted to toss the football around sometime today with you.”  “Okay sure, hold up.” I got dressed and met them down stairs, and out on the lawn. 06102010

We played ball for a few hours and then I decided I had enough.  I left them in a sprint away from the lawn area and into the gardens.  I just ran and ran and ran until the gardens ended and I came to a smell old cottage. I looked around and didn’t see or hear anyone so I walked to the front door and lightly knocked on it.  Then to my surprise Doug answered.  “Hi Frances, come in.”  I came in and looked around  and then said “Hi, what’s this place about?  Way out here all by itself?”  “Oh this was my grandfathers cottage.  I like to come here and think. It inspires me.”  “I can see why, it’s very quaint.  May I sit?”  “Of course, you are welcome here.”  I took the seat in the living room beside a small end table, and Doug took the other seat that was beside the small table too.  “Can I offer you a drink?” “What are you having? I would enjoy what ever you are having.”  With that Doug got up and went into the kitchen and got another wine glass and he poured me a glass of wine. 06122011

I said “Thank you.”  as he poured me a the glass and then handed it to me.  “So something it troubling you, I can tell. You want to talk about it?”  “I’m a little upset that the school wants to kick us out and make us go thought accelerated home studies to graduate.  I want to graduate with my class.”  “Did you know that although you would take accelerated classes that you still would be allowed to walk with your class on graduation day?” “Um, no I didn’t.”  “Well you can.  All of you should graduate through home studies that way you can concentrate on your next plan, you know for college.  Do you have any idea what you want to do for a career?”  “NO not at all.”  I sipped the wine and though for a minute then I said “I guess I want to become a teacher.”  “Honorable profession.” Doug said.  We talked most of the afternoon and then I realized I was catching a buzz.  “Hey I feel like I small from all the running around, would you mind if I hop in the shower and rinse off?”  “Nope, while you’re doing that I will make you and I something to eat.”  “Cool thanks.”  I went into the bathroom and stripped down and showered then toweled off and got dressed again.  I went into the kitchen and Doug was making us some food.  06132011

“So what are you making?”  I sat down at the small bistro table inside the kitchen in the corner up against the wall. “Duck Confit, have you had it before?”  “No but it smells delicious.”   Once Doug finished cooking he plated up the food and we walked it outside and sat at a small table facing the garden.  I took my first bite and it simply melted in my mouth.    “This is the most delicious bird I have ever eaten. Thank you.”  “You’re welcome.  Next time I can teach you how to make it.” 06132011

Once we finished eating we just cleaned up the dishes and the kitchen together and then sat back down in the living room.  “So what would you like to do now?” “I’m not sure.” “Well, we could watch a movie or play a board game, anything you like.” I thought for a moment and then I said “Playing a game would be nice.”  He stood up and left the room and then he came back in and set on the small table a wooden box.  He opened the box and looked at me then said “This is a magical game.  It tests your magical abilities while you play.”  He handed me the dice and then asked me to roll them so I did.  Just then I rolled a four and a two. In that instant I was sucked into the game.  He rolled and then he showed up right beside me. “Okay the object of this game is to get to the secret map and then follow it to a lost treasure.  The first one to the treasure in hand wins.  You have to anticipate anything and everything. Are you ready?”  I was so scared and nervous, but I said “Yep.” 06142011

I began to head to the woods where I saw a pathway that looked used and warn out.  I slowly walked inside and heard all sorts of strange noises and wildlife sounds.  I rendered myself invisible and walked slowly along the path. Just then a wild bore ran out and began to charge me.   I panicked and ran down a different pathway, and then found myself going down hill.  I came upon a cliff over a large ravine.  I said “trouble trouble is like a bubble so bubble help out of this trouble.”  Suddenly I was surrounded inside a huge bubble that carried me to the other side and once it his the grassy knoll it popped and I fell to the ground.  I got up and wiped away the dirt from my knees and continued following the path.  06142011

Out loud I was lecturing myself about what a stupid spell that was, and how it sounded like an elementary nursery rhyme.  Just then I took a wrong step into a pit that was covered up with hay, and I fell down inside of it and to the ground. I looked around and there were lots of tunnels going in all directions.  I said “I need a light.”  Then a glow stick appeared in my hand.  I carefully walked through the caverns and then I realized how afraid I was. “I wish Freddy was here, he would know what to do.”  Freddy appeared standing right beside me and said “Frankie, what did you just do?”  I said “I’m playing a live game and I wished you were here to help me.”  He was all wet in his swim trunks.  He clapped his hands and changed into being full clothed with shoes and socks. “That’s better, so how does this game work?”  “We have to first find a map and then the treasure.”  “Ugh, this is stupid.” “Hush and just help me out will you?” 06142011

“It’s not like I have any choice now do I?”  He sounded so bitter.  “You know as well as I do you wouldn’t rather be anywhere else than here with me, so shut it!” We both knew I was right. He said “Light the way in this darkened cave, then show us the way to our destiny.”  Torches lit up all along the walls and then this little floating light appeared and guided us through the tunnels to an open area.  There were old wooden stairs that led downward.  “Repair stairs.”  I said and they were like new.  “I’m not liking the idea of going down, is this the stairway to hell?”  Freddy asked.  “I laughed, if it is maybe we could rescue a few of our long lost friends while we’re down here.”  We both laughed and carefully walked down the stairway. 06142011

The stairs stopped and we were inside this deep, cold room. There was a wooden chest sitting in the middle of the floor so I leaned down to open it.  Just as I opened it we were sucked inside and it shut.  This was a whole other World.  Valleys, Trees, grass, and hills as far as the eyes could see.  “I’m not liking this game at all Frankie, it’s really creeping me out.”  On a hill was a granite table with magnificent lamp posts around it.  We walked up to it and on it was a scroll.  Freddy picked it up and unraveled it and then we examined it.  “This is the map.”  “Duh, I can see that.” I said.  “Okay well it says to follow this path over the hill. We followed the map over the hill and then cam upon the cost. There was a beach and a run down castle.  The waves were crashing along the pathway that was deteriorating and brittle.  We scaled the wall along the pathway and headed upward to the castle. 06142011

“Is this for real?” Freddy asked.  “Look Freddy if you don’t want to help me out then why don’t you just leave!”  “Hey, I’m here aren’t I?” I was just so irritated.  “This is supposed to be fun right? It’s really creeping me out is all.” He sniped.  I decided to stop and take a deep breath.  “Yes, you’re right and I’m sorry.  This is weird and it’s also unfamiliar to me.”  I snapped and said “Take me to the treasure!”  I disappeared and the reappeared somewhere deep inside the castle.  In a split second Freddy appeared beside me.  The room was filled with all sorts of treasures but nothing looked that important to me.  “Wow, would you look at this stuff?” Freddy said.  I said “What is something that I could use every day, and that would be important to me?”  “Um, a new watch?” “Maybe, or how about a golden journal and pen?”  Just then there it was sitting on a pedestal in the center of all that stuff. “That’s it.”  I walked over to grab it and Doug popped in swiped it and the disappeared.  06142011

I said “That asshole.”  Freddy grabbed my hand and said “Follow Doug!”  We wound up right beside him in an all glass room.  The only things surrounding us were clouds and blue sky. “What is this place?”  I asked. “This is the room of all things answered.”  I was so amazed at where it was and how we go there.  Freddy said “It’s like Heaven?”  “No, it’s just a place set aside for people like us to find the answers that we need to a question that is troubling us.”  “How would we find this place again?”  I asked.  “You imagine it in your head and then concentrate until you get here.” Doug snapped his finger at the same time as he said “Babushka.”  We were back in the cottage and he still had the golden book and matching pen in hand.  “Here, this is yours. I want  you to keep it.”  He handed them to me and I sat down on the chair and opened it up and began reading what was inside. 06142011

Freddy kept popping in and out with Doug’s “Babushka” spell.  “Freddy!”  “What?!”  “Stop already, God!”  “Sorry I think it’s fun.” Doug chuckled. “Okay I’m going to head over to the Châteaux and see what’s going on for dinner. You boys going to hang out here?”  “Is it okay?” “Of course, make yourselves at home.”  Freddy went into the kitchen and scoured the cupboards for snack foods.  He brought back bags of chips, and dip and some sodas.  “What are we going to do tonight?” “Not sure.”  I continued to read the journal.  Freddy popped in a dvd and I just kicked back and soaked in everything I was learning about spells and magic, from the golden book.  06142011

I fell asleep in the chair with the book in my lap.  I was woke up by Ben and Doug.  They were letting us know that dinner was ready.  Freddy fell asleep too while watching the movie.  We left with them and headed back to the house.  I was really happy when I got there to see my family was there to visit.  We ate dinner together and just hung out by the pool for the rest of the evening.  I gave them a tour of the property and they said they were going to stay for a few days. 06142011

The next day all of us and our parents went with Doug and Ben on their private yacht to sail the Mediterranean Sea.  We got up early and then shuttled over to the coast.  Once on the boat I got settled in on the deck to catch some sun.  Just then Jenna showed up and asked me if she could tan along beside me. “Oh yeah sure.”  We spoke just a little every now and then but it wasn’t ever anything serious.  I could tell I still had the same feelings for her as I did from the very beginning. Doug and Ben were fishing with my Dad and Freddy and his Dad.  I had no idea what everyone else was doing because it was a pretty big boat. 06142011

While I was sun tanning, these two young kids walked up and began talking to Jenna. “Hey I’m Toni, and this is my twin brother Troy. How are you?”  Jenna said “I’m great thanks.”  “Could we join you in these empty chase lounges?”  “Oh yes, sure.”  They laid out their towels and then laid down on them.  I fell asleep for a short time and then woke up to turn over.  A server came over and offered us water and refreshments.  I grabbed both and thanked him and then sipped the refreshment.  I looked over at the twins and they seemed to be napping.  Jenna smiled and we spoke a bit, only quietly. 06152011

Jenna asked the boy “So do you know where the cruise is headed?”  “Yeah my Uncles said we were heading to Nice, France.”  Then the girl said “That’s one place we haven’t been yet. Have you?”  I responded, “nope we’re just visiting from the states for the first time.”   Troy stood up and moved his chair over to the other side of me.  He put it right beside mine and laid back down.  “So, I read somewhere that you guys were all hit by a meteor.”  “yes, there was fourteen of us.  Seven guys and seven girls.”  “What did it do to you?”  “It gave us a each a strange power.  Then when we were hiking I found an old run down shack on the property and I was met by a magical alien who gifted me with even more powers.”  “Man, that’s just so weird. Do you feel any different?”  “Yes I do, I am more sensitive to everything that goes on around me.” 06162011

I needed to cool off and get cleaned up so I went to one of the master suits and showered and changed.  As I was walking out Luigi and Lucas came up to me and said “Hey, what are you up to?”  “I just got cleaned up after tanning this afternoon. How about you guys? “We’re going to the bar to shoot some pool and  have a few drinks, you care to join us?”  “Sure count me in.”  We got to the game room and bar, and all my boys were already there.  Some were playing pool and others were playing poker. “Hey guys” I said.  “Hey Frankie.” Freddy said.  I walked up to the bar and ordered a beer and then sat down next to Freddy.  “Thanks for the beer bro.”  He picked it up and sipped from it and then set it back down.  “Hey Dog, that’s mine. Get your own.” Just then this server came over and delivered each of the other guys beer. 06172011

A few hours passed and then the girls entered the game room.  That’s just about the time that the music selection switched over from Rock and Roll to dance.  They were all giddy and chatty and the guys for the most part were uninterrupted by it.  I how ever was being bombarded with their thoughts up until I switched them off because it was about things I would prefer to never know.  Jenna came up to the table and set some coins on the edge.  I said “It’s free.”  She said “I know I’m just reserving the table so that I can challenge the winner.”  “Cool.” I said and then continued to play Luigi. I won that game and the next game was between Lucas and I. He won so I sat down and witnessed him get taught by Jenna.  “You’re pretty good.  Is there anything you’re not good at?”  She winked then smiled and called the with ball to the corner pocket and tapped it in. “Not sure, I haven’t tried everything yet.”  06212011

Jenna realized that none of the other men wanted to challenge her so she asked a few of the gals to play.  I left the game room and went to the deck.  Mom and Dad were lounging around the pool, taking in the sun. “Hi Son.”  Dad said.  “Hey Pop.”  “How are you doing?”  “I’m doing okay.”  Then Mom asked “Nothing feels strange or odd?”  “Nope, why?”  “Oh no reason just checking.” I sat beside them and then Doug and Ben came over and we all chatted for a while.  06212011

Doug asked me if he could speak to me in private.  “Sure, would you all please excuse me?” He put his arm around me and walked me away from the group. ‘What’s up?”  “Well, you know we’re only a day away from arriving to Nice.  We’re renting a house there for those of you who don’t feel like staying on the yacht.  I was wondering if you and the rest of the guys wanted to stay in the house with us or stay onboard?”  “I think I can’t speak for everyone else, but I will ask them.  As far as it goes for me, I would really prefer to stay on shore, if it’s not too much trouble.”  “NO way, not at all. You boys are always welcome with Doug and I. So I will have the servants set aside a room for you.”  “Thanks Doug.”  We walked into the Master suit and sat down to talk some more. 06212011

Just then a waiter came in and he served us some snacks and drinks.  “Thank you.”  I said and he left.  “You care to play a board game?”  “I’m not sure that last one sucked me inside of it and I wasn’t really having a good time.  It’s my belief that games should be fun.” “Oh yeah I forgot. Well, this one is so let’s play.”  He pulled out this wooden box from under the small table and then opened it up and set it on top of the table.  This board game was different from the last.  It had small game pieces and an arrow that you spin. “The object is simple.  The first one to the end wins. You spin first.”  I just looked at Doug and waited for some sign in his face that would tell me I was being tricked into a magical experience again, but there wasn’t anything there so I spun.  The arrow spun around then came to its stop. It had the word “Clover.”  I looked across the board for any symbol of a clover and just before I opened my mouth, I vanished from the ship. I was furious. “God Damnit Doug!” I shouted. I re appeared in an open field looking some what like Ireland.  “Great I’m supposed to find a clover here?”  06222011

All I saw was this dirt road.  I decided to walk it and see where it leaded me.  I came to this old run down tavern.  I went inside and the Barkeeper asked me if he could help me.  I looked around and then said “Clover?” He leaned into the inside of the bar and pulled something out and then aimed a gun at me.  I said “Whoa, wait just a minute. No need for unfriendly gestures here Sir.”  I waved my arm and magically made the gun turn into flowers.  I woman walked up behind me and whispered in my ear. “I have a clover you could have if you’re man enough to take it from me.”  I just backed up away from the bar and her, then I said “This was a mistake and I will just let myself out.” 06222011

The woman grabbed me by my arm. Said some chants and I froze solid as a rock.  I thought to myself. “Break these bonds and the powers who holds them send them away and release me!”  The outer rock shattered and then I was really mad.  I knew I wasn’t that experienced enough to have any kind of magical showdown. So I thought for a second and the I called in Lucas and Luigi.  “Hey young man, what’s going on?” Luigi asked.  The woman stuck Lucas with her magic and he spun a force field around her and tossed her up into the air.  The bar keeper threw a magical charge at Luigi and he swallowed it up like it was candy. 06222011

I cast a spell and turned the both of them into little bunny rabbits and they fell to the ground and hopped away.  “What is this?”   “I don’t know I think I’m inside one of Doug’s magical games. I spun clover and ended up here.” Then Lucas said “Oh yeah I seen this game before.” He reached behind the bar and pulled out a porcelain clover attached to a key chain.  “Here this should do it.”  Just as he handed it to me we all appeared back into the ships master suit.  “Oh you called for help.  Smart lad.” Doug said.  “I hate these games Doug.”  “That may be so but how else are you going to learn how to harness your powers?” I shrugged my shoulders and waited for him to spin. 06222011

He spun the needle and it landed on a “Feather.”  I waited for him to vanish and he didn’t. I could tell I was going to vanish so I grabbed Lucas’s arm and we both vanished together. This time we both ended up deep in the village of Africa.  People were looking at us and just giving us dirty looks.  There was an old woman who had been sitting by her small hut and weaving a basket.  I walked over to her and she stopped weaving and then looked at us. “You both lost or something?”  I said “I’m trying to locate a feather.”   06222011

With that she jumped up dropping her basket and grabbed this bamboo stick and she began hitting me with it.  I magically chanted one in my hands and fought her back.  Each hit stung like crazy.  I was getting madder and madder.  These tribal men came out of nowhere and began hitting me too.  Lucas was already fighting them off with something he picked up off the ground. I tripped the woman up and quickly read her mind.  She was thinking about the sacred feather inside the nearby hut.  I jumped over her, ran inside and grabbed the feather off of their holy altar.  Before I could run out someone rapped me upside my knee caps and I fell to the ground.  While I was falling I cast a spell to turn everyone into pebbles.  Each of them fell to the ground, right beside their sticks. Lucas ran over and touched me and we both re-appeared back into the room. 06232011

“Doug, I’m really not liking this game.”  I said angrily.  “One thing I neglected to tell you is you can call anyone into it that you want when you need help.  Also Wiccans only hide magically in plain sight.”  He said spin, so I did and I vanished again.  This time I was deep in the woods and a group of men on horses were shooting arrows at me.  I ran and ran and then stopped and looked around.   I yelled “Rori!” then turned onto a giant boulder.  She appeared and realized what was going on and she hid behind me as the horsemen rode by us. She moved around me as they passed and then I changed back into myself.  “Hi, thanks for coming.”  “Okay I know this game, follow me.”  We ran as fast as we could in the opposite direction as the horsemen, until we came up to a large cave on the side of the mountain.   “Hurry, in here!” She said still running.  We ran inside and I was getting a creepy feeling like I had already been through this before. 06232011

I stopped and called in Lucas and Luigi, also Freddy, and Barry.  “What in the hell?”  Barry said. “Shut it and follow me.”  Freddy never said anything because he could see the fear in my eyes. He ran right beside me, and looked at me with confidence.  We all followed Rori up until we came upon a stone stairway.  We took it up quickly and it led us to an old castle.  Inside it was quiet and uninhabited. Just then six people appeared out of mid air and began fighting each of us.  Once we managed to knock them out we continued on our search. The door we ran up to was massive.  Bigger than any door and doorway I had ever seen.  “Does a Giant live here?” Barry asked sarcastically, while Rori slowly pushed open the door and we followed her in.  I heard some loud snoring.  It literally shook the walls.  “Ssssshhhh, yes and don’t wake him or he will eat us in his soup.”  I tip toed and looked around until I found a leather pouch.  Something told me to take it so I grabbed it and threw it in my pocket and then we all left.  06232011

The meanest and scrappiest looking one walked up behind me with a knife and he took his arm and wrapped it around my neck and put the knife up against the front of it and tried to drag me away.  I pushed my feet and legs into the ground forcing my strength against his and he couldn’t budge me. He said “You come with me or I will bleed you right here and now!”  I said “You have no idea who you’re messing with.”  He laughed and said “You hear this?  He’s telling me I have no idea who I’m messing with. Well we’ll just see about that won’t we?”  I elbowed him in his side and then grabbed his arm and flipped him onto his back in the street.  It literally knocked the wind out of him.  The knife flew up into the air and I grabbed it and then I knelt down with my knee in his chest and I forced the blade up to his neck and he came to and I said “Call off the dogs or I will end this right here and now.”  He looked so scared he was trying to talk but my force was blocking his voice, so I let up a little and he punched me upside the head. I balled up my fist and I slugged him with all my strength and knocked him out cold. “You see people” I said while getting back to my feet, “I hit back, so unless you walk away from this right here and now then this is one fight you won’t win.”  The thugs heeded my warning and they scurried over to the boss and drug him away. 06242011

The group of us continued walking down the street just in shock by all the mayhem that surrounded us.  Rori jumped into an abandoned truck and magically started it then she said “Everyone, jump in.” Doug jumped in front with Rori and all of the rest of us jumped in back.  It began to rain and we were all getting drenched.  The rain didn’t last all that long.  We were riding out of that neighborhood and into the country.  The road was narrow and there were drainage ditches on both sides.  The truck went out of control and we drove right into the ditch and then got stuck in the thick mud.  Lucas magically levitated the truck out of the mud and Rori commanded the rains to surround it and wash it off.  We didn’t know where we were going or why.  Nobody was familiar with this task of the game.  06252011

“Hey Guys, You know I like to have a plan before I just jump into something.  Does anyone have any good ideas?” Barry spoke up and said “Well, you chose neighborhood so I would say what ever we’re looking for is either back there or in another hood and not out here in the countryside.”  “Wow, he’s not as dumb as he looks.” Freddy said.  “Ssshhh, Freddy”  I shook my head no. “Not now.”  Doug closed his eyes and then hey just stood there concentrating.  I watched him and Rori and what they were doing and I said “Let’s copy them, and then concentrate on following  them.”  Doug and Rori changed shape into a little colored marble and shot up into the air and through the streets. I changed next, into a purple boulder marble and shot up right beside them.   One at a time each of the others did, but Freddy was having a little trouble and filled with anxieties.  Barry turned around changed back with Freddy and grabbed his hand then said “Relax, and concentrate.”  The two of them changed one was orange and the other was red.  They sped up behind us and we traveled through town.  All the fear, anger, loneliness, loss, lost will to live, and depression of emotions were surrounding all of us.  We flew inside an abandoned brick building and then transformed back into ourselves.  Upon touch down I said “Toni & Troy!”  They magically appeared.  Toni began to shiver and sweat and then she looked around for the bathroom to throw up.  Troy began crying and then he wiped his tears away and asked “Why are we here?”  “Sorry, I called you in I thought you two could help.”  Toni walked back in “I’m sorry there’s way too much negative emotions here, it empathically made me sick.” Troy put his arm around his sister and said “Me too.”  06252011

“Should I send you both back?” I asked.  “NO! we’re fine.” They both said at the same time.  Rori and Doug walked over to them and hugged and kissed them.  Then Luigi and Lucas right behind them.  “So, okay, should we spilt up in small groups then? Code word is Marble, if anyone gets in over their head that will bring them right back to here. Agreed?”  “Agreed.” They responded.  Lucas and Luigi went off as one group, then the twins went with Rori and Doug.  The three of us went together, Barry, Freddy and I.    Barry and Freddy were picking on each other the whole way.  I endured as much as I could before I finally snapped “One more negative word or action out of either of you and I’m zapping your asses out of here!” Freddy said while turning around and wiggling his buns at me…“Ooooh zap my ass, zap my ass.”  I just shook my head and Barry cracked up laughing. 06252011

Back out on the streets we didn’t make too much of a scene.  I snapped my fingers and all our clothes and appearance was changed to look a bit rugged and homeless.   I tapped into my instincts and something told me that what ever I was looking for was in that abandoned Catholic Church up at the end of the block.  Before we could even get there a few more thugs jumped out of nowhere and were fighting with us.  Barry knocked his out first then ran over and pulled off Freddy’s and beat him down into the street.  Freddy ran over and helped me beat mine up.  We continued towards the church and then these thick black demons came at us while soaring through the air.  As then touched us our skin felt like it was burning.  The burn wasn’t only on the outside it worked its way into the inside and hit me right in the heart.  “Ouch fuck!” I started to panic. Freddy was screaming and swinging and hitting his arms all over around him in mid air.  I cast a spell:

Demon in the air

I don’t care

fire with your touch

we will not despair

go and leave us now

and forever or know my wrath

do as you are told .

We once were skin and bones

but now are water molecules.

Now when they touched us our water doused their fire.  The power of my spell shook them up pretty good and they left in fear.  06252011

I snapped my fingers and we changed back into ourselves.   “Uh, I really don’t like those things” Barry snapped.  “I know right?”  Freddy replied.  “Me either, let’s just get what we came for and get the hell out of here.”   I carefully walked up the steps of the old church now.  The boys were right behind me. “What was up with that spell Bro?  It was a little bit dorky.” Barry said. “Shut up it saved your ass didn’t it?” “Who cares as long as it works.” Freddy said.  He walked up to me and put his arm around me then he whispered “You know I love you right?”  I elbowed him in his side and said “Yeah, stop that.”  Barry ran up quickly in between us, smacking us both on the butts and entered the Church doors first.  I yelled “Barry NO!”  We ran in behind him and were completely shocked to see what we had found.   06252011

The Church temperature inside was way hotter than anything we had ever experienced on earth. It had to be over 112 degrees inside.  Up where the alter was sat a disfigured creature that glowed red and orange.  Barry was up in the air being held captive by these things that looked like winged baboons. One on each arm and he was unconscious.  I magically surrounded both Freddy and I in a bright yellow force field.  We walked up to the creature and I asked “Who are you?”  “I am Deofol. You have come to me to be my servants?” “No, I have come here to take something from you that you hold dear.” “How is that possible? You’re no where near as powerful as I am.”  “Don’t be so sure.  The power we possess is not of this Earth. It was given to us by  Sartell.”  I could see there was something locked inside of the confessions booth beside him and it was trying and fighting to get out.  I blasted the booth with a lightening bolt and it shattered.  There stood the most beautiful and perfectly pure human being I had ever known.  Freddy spun around and projected all his power outward like a tornado which consumed all the other demons and creatures in the Church, then when he came to a stand still they were all gone.  Barry had fallen to the ground and I surrounded both him and this prefect being in the same force fields.  Barry walked over besides me, with Freddy and that’s when Lucas, Luigi, Doug, Rori, Troy and Toni walked in through the Church doors. They came up beside me as we stood in a singe line behind all the pews. Collectively we combined all of our powers and sent Deofol back to the place where he couldn’t escape. To the center core of the Earth.  06252011

The being was a young man.  He was completely naked and so pure and innocent.  Rori clapped her hands and clothed him in some brand new perfectly fitted clothes.  He just stood there looking at us.  His face was smooth, and his skin was shiny and clear.  He smiled and then said “Thank you.”  He had blond hair and beautiful blue/green eyes.  They were big and felt magical.  “Who are you?” I asked. “I am Uriel.” “He’s an Angel?” Barry asked.  “You amaze me sometimes Barry.” I said.  “What?  Why? I wasn’t born yesterday.”  Freddy laughed and then Doug said “Well, we’re happy you’re okay.” Then he said “Babushka.”  and  all of us returned to the master suite of the Yacht.  “Uriel, allow me to show you to your room so you can get some rest and regain your energy.”  Doug stood up and took him by the hand and they left. “Well, looks like game over. Well done everyone.  I think I’m going to check with the Captain and see when we reach port.” Rori said and left the room.  The twins ran out after saying bye too.  I sat down and closed the game shut then tucked it beneath the chair where it was found.  06252011

The three of us went back up to the deck where everyone was drinking and dancing and singing.  I sat down on the chase lounge and put my feet up and my hands behind my head and I fell asleep.  After my nap Freddy woke me up and said “We’re here, are you ready to head to shore?”  “Yeah, just let me go take a quick shower and change first.”  He followed me to the suite where we both got cleaned up with the other guys and then dressed in our nice clothes for the tour of the city.  As I was walking out of the room Uriel came up to the door and said “Hey Francis.”  “Hi aren’t you supposed to be getting some rest?”  “I had a little nap. Do you mind if I come along with you guys to see the city?”  “You haven’t seen the city before?”  “Not in a very long time.”  “Of course you’re welcome to join us anytime. Come on.”  I put my arm around him and Freddy ran up to the other side of us and put his arm around him and we all three walked off the boat and onto the docks together.  The rest of the guys followed us off and we all stuck together for the tour of the city.  06252011

The city was so beautiful.  We watched the sunset from the view of the restaurant we were at. The tour was a few hours long. Everyone seemed to be in really good spirits.  The people were very friendly.  They spoke French and English, some even spoke Italian to Luigi and Lucas.   I went out to the balcony of the restaurant and stood out there looking out to the bay, and the hills.  It was just so beautiful.  Jenna came out there and said “It’s so breath taking, isn’t it?”  “Yes it is.  I walked closed to her and placed my hand on the side of her hip. She turned and looked up at me.  I could see how lovely she was and it made me feel so calm and secure inside.  We leaned into on another and then kissed. It was a long and slow kiss, that just started off soft and smooth and then finished with a tiny smack.  I backed away to look into her eyes again and she looked so beautiful.  Was she more beautiful than the sunset? Even more breath taking than the views? In my mind I thought so.  06252011

We turned to look and see who was standing beside us and it was Freddy and Uriel.  They both were locked at the lips and arm in arm.  Jenna burst out with a funny sounding sigh and I just stared.  After their kiss they turned and looked at us. Both with huge smiles ear to ear.  Freddy said “Hey, it’s not every day you get to kiss a real angel.”  I said “want a bet.”  Then we leaned into each other and kissed again, then so did they.  One couple at a time began to join us out on the balcony.   It felt like make-out point back home. Doug walked out with Ben and then said “We’re heading back to the house we rented.  Rori knows where it is so when you’re ready to go, just look for her okay?”  “Yeah sure, thanks.”  “Bye.”  “See you” I said.    06252011 

That night the group went out dancing then to eat again after, then I saw Jenna home.  We kissed at the front steps of her villa and I said “Good Night, see you in the morning.”  “Thank you for a lovely evening.”  I walked away from the villa and just focused deep in thought about how each stone was placed perfectly beside one another to for the cobble stone street.  Rori walked up beside me.  She was with Luigi and Lucas.  “Hey” I said. “Hi, did you have a good evening?”  “Yes it was Surreal.”  “This place can do that to a person.”  We walked up the road that curved and turned all the way up to the top of the hills and then we came to this gigantic villa. “Is this where we are staying?”  “Yeah it’s mine.” Rori said. The place was amazing.  It had plush surrounding gardens and a brick path up to the huge front decks.   The decks had gigantic porcelain  pots with flower and plants that I had never seen before.  We toured the house which had both indoor and outdoor in ground swimming pools.  In the back there was two stairways that curved and led up to a huge balcony that overlooked the pool and the garden.  The back of the villa was encased with curved glass that enclosed the indoor pool with the view of the outside pool and garden.  The kitchen looked like a restaurant kitchen and was as big as some living rooms that I had seen.  There was a living room, dining room, billiard room, library, family room, eight bedrooms with two master suits that had attached private offices.  06252011

I met Doug and Ben in their office.  They both had gone swimming and now were relaxing in their robes, and enjoying an evening cocktail.  “Hi, how was your evening?” Doug asked.  “It was magical. Thanks.”  “Have you picked out your room yet?”  “No, I thought I would let everyone else pick first.”  “Would you like a drink?” Ben asked. “Sure thanks.”  I sat down in the large chair and they came over and poured me a drink then sat down beside me.  Doug said “You were pretty impressive at the game today.”  “Thanks I didn’t like it much.  It’s too emotional and in some areas frightening for me.”  “The more you play the better you get as well as confident” Ben said.   “I prefer football, baseball and basketball.”  They laughed and said “We understand.”  There was a light knock on the door and in came Uriel with Freddy.  Freddy came to my seat and sat in it right next to me.  He just looked at me with this silly goofy face. “What?” I asked then I handed him my drink and he took a sip.  Doug made them both drinks and we all walked over to the fire place and sat around the fire. 06252011    

Freddy sat beside me and said “We are sharing a room. I already picked it out.”  “Oh, thanks.” I looked over at Uriel and he smiled at me.  I raised my glass then sipped from it.  Doug said “Are you guys hungry?”  “We’re always hungry.” Freddy said.  Just then two servers walked in and they had trays of hors d'oeuvres.  One was a man and the other was a woman.  Uriel was interested in the woman and he followed her out.  Ben and Doug laughed then said “He’s an angel who is anyone to judge?”  Freddy laughed and then rested his head on my shoulder. I thought the whole situation was funny and it gave me a little chuckle.  I put my arm around Freddy and he fell asleep there.  Ben, Doug and I talked for a few more hours and had a couple more drinks and then I was ready to go to bed.  I woke up Freddy and we walked arm in arm to the room.  Once inside I looked around and was so impressed with the  size and the expense of the furniture and décor.  There was only one bed but I didn’t care.  Freddy and I grew up together and shared a bed ten thousand times before. I washed my face and brushed my teeth and then used the bathroom.  I removed my clothes and climbed in first, then after Freddy finished in the bathroom he took off his clothes and climbed in too.  He snuggled up to me and we both fell asleep. 06252011

Come morning I was awoke by a low sounding music that was coming from somewhere else in the house.  I grabbed my robe and then went to the bathroom to have a quick shower.  I toweled off and got dressed then I followed the music to a specific room in the house.  I knocked on the door lightly and then heard someone say “Come in.”  It was Uriel, he was playing music on an instrument that I had never seen before.  “Wow, that’s the most beautiful thing I’ve ever heard.  It literally brought tears to my eyes.  Uriel smiles and said “It’s heavenly yes.” He stopped playing and set down the instrument and then sat down on the couch in the room.  “Please come sit beside me.”  I sat beside him and he placed his hand on my forehead.  I felt his touch which was warm and calming.  He spoke in another language to me and as he spoke it then I became able to comprehend it. “What language is this?” I asked.  He said “It’s a language of the Angels.” He told me about God, the heavens, love, spirits, life, death, everything under the sun.  I felt so uplifted and different.  By the time he finished I could feel myself glowing with power and knowledge.  He kissed me on the forehead  then said “Good Bye.”  I said “So Long” he vanished.  06252011

I looked for the instrument and it was gone too.  I got up and left the room and headed back to my room.  Freddy was still in bed so I just took off my shoes, socks, shorts and shirt and climbed back in.  He rolled over and I snuggled him and fell back to sleep.  The second time that morning that I woke up was because the servers came in with hot coffee and fresh pastries, and the smell woke us both us.  We sat together at a small table and sipped coffee and ate the delectable pastries.  “How was your evening with Uriel?”  “He’s wonderful.  I enjoyed it.”  “He’s gone. He left early this morning.  Said goodbye.”  Freddy looked a little concerned but then said “He’s got lots of work to do I’m sure.”  “Yeah” I said. 06252011

We decided after we ate to get dressed and spend the day together just the two of us.  After Freddy showered and dressed and I got dressed, we left the villa together.  I hailed a can and had the driver take us to the scenic train depot.  I purchased two tickets and then we got on the train.  I let Freddy sit by the window.  The drink cart came by and so I picked up two drinks for us and a bowl of snacks.  The train traveled in and out of the alps and the scenery was absolutely marvelous.  At the end of the tour we were able to get off the train and spend the day in a very small village that offered horse back riding, mountain biking,  rafting, canoeing,  and hiking.  “Which are you interested in doing?”  “Let’s go canoeing.”  So we went to the canoe rentals and rented it with our life jackets and got in and began paddling down the river.   Just about an hour into the ride we came upon two younger kids who had fallen out of their canoes and were standing on rocks while the small rapids rushed on by them.  “Hey boys are you okay?”  “Can you please help us?  Our canoe got away from us and we’re stranded here.”  I said “Sure, clothes your eyes and just relax.”  They closed their eyes and stood there wondering what I was going to do, and how I this was going to help. Freddy telepathically located the canoe up the river and then transported it back to us.  I lifted up each young man at a time magically and carefully set them back into their boat.  The  wooden paddles were following close behind boat and went into their hands.  “Okay you can open your eyes now.”  “Thank you.”  They smiled and then paddled away.  06252011

“Don’t they remind you of someone?”  “Yes, you and me when we were their age.”  I smiled and we just paddled up the river.  Another hour we came to the place where we were supposed to get out and turn in the canoes and paddles.  After we did that I suggested we go eat while we waited for the shuttle to take us back to the train station.  In this small café, just off in the corner of the village was the two young boys sitting at a table and eating.  “Hi again. Could we buy you guys lunch for rescuing us?”  I looked at Freddy and laughed. “Uh, yeah sure, why not?”  “This is my best friend Peter and my name is Joel.”  Hey nice to meet you my name is Frances and this is Fredrick.”   Freddy said “Freddy and Frankie.” We all shook hands and then we took the table beside them.  The waitress came over and they ordered for us in French.  Then she returned with fresh bread, sliced cheeses, and drinks. “Thank you.” I said.  06252011

“Lunch was really delicious, thanks boys. “ I said and we got up to leave.  We shook their hands and then left to catch the train.  Neither one of us had realized that they were taking the train back with us too, but there they were sitting right beside us on the bench waiting for it.  “Hey, are you guys following us?”  “Yeah we wanted to get to know our heroes a little better.” Peter said.  Then Joel said “Yeah thanks again for saving us.”  “Not a problem really” I said then Freddy said “I’m just glad we were there.” “Do you mind if we ride in the same car as you?” Joel asked.  “Uh, yeah sure, that’s fine.” I said then Freddy said “Not a problem.”  Just then the train pulled up and we allowed them to go in first then we went in behind them. 06252011

Once we found an empty car we all sat down in it and the boys asked “Have you guys known each other all your lives?”  “Yeah, why do you ask?”  Joel said “Because you two look alike, and talk alike and even walk the same.” “We have been friends since we were about two years old. Our parents are friends.”  Freddy replied.  “Us too we have been friends our whole lives.”  “That’s good.  I think it’s important to keep your friends.” I said.  Just then the train conductor came by to punch our tickets. “So where you boys headed?”  “We’re visiting Nice with our parents.  They’re friends too.” Peter replied.  I looked at Freddy and read his mind.  We both felt like we were looking at our younger selves.   06252011

The waitress came in and asked us if there was anything we needed.  I said “Could you please bring us all some lemonade and maybe a few bowls of snacks?”  “Yes of course.” She slid the car door closed and then left.  “How long are you guys staying in Nice?”  “Just a few more days I think” Peter said.  “We came with a good friend on his yacht.  Not sure how long we’re staying but there’s a bunch of us” I said.  “Oh that’s cool” Joel said.  Peter began to fall asleep and in a short time Peter was asleep too. They were both propped up against each others heads.  I reached up and grabbed a pillow and then leaned them both on their own pillows so they were so uncomfortable.  “Awe, you’re turning into such a good Daddy.”  Freddy said sarcastically. “Hey, I will be an awesome Father.”  “I know you will I was just playing.”  06252011

The waitress came back in and left the drinks and snacks with us.  Just a little over an hour the boys woke up and stretched and then drank down the drinks and ate their snacks.  We traveled about an hour or two and then we were back in Nice.  “Here’s our stop young men.  Nice to meet you and spend time with you.  Take care of yourselves okay?”  We all hugged and kissed and then went our separate ways. Back at the villa everyone was singing and dancing and it looked like they were hosting a party.  I walked in first and that’s when Jenna walked up to me and hugged me.  “Hey, how are you?”  I could tell she might have a had a bit too much to drink.  “I’m feeling wonderful!”  Freddy walked past us mumbling something towards the kitchen.   “Hi Mom and Dad, are you having fun?”  “Oh yeah our villa isn’t as nice as this one but it’s running a close second if you know what I mean.”  Mom said as she kissed me and went into the living room.  “Son, come in and relax.” Dad said grabbing me by my hand.  “Dad, I have to go get cleaned up, okay?”  I felt so gross. I kissed him and then kissed Jenna on the cheek and ran up to my suit to take a quick rinse and redress.  06252011

I washed up in the shower and while I was coming out Freddy was getting in. “Dude the spread in the kitchen is unbelievable, you have to go eat something.”  I grabbed a towel and before he turned on the water I rolled it up and snapped Freddy right upside his naked butt, and then I ran out.  “Ouch you son of a bitch, you just wait!”  I knew I never stood a chance against his speed.  He sped up in front of me and tripped me then he was back in the shower before I fell to the ground.  I hit the floor and said “Ouch that hurt.”  I got up and put on my underwear, socks, t-shirt, and someone came into the room.  It was Travis.  “Shoot you’re back.  Where did you guys go? I wanted to hang with you today.”  “We took the train and went on a tour, then canoeing.”  “Oh man, I’m sick with jealousy.” I finished getting dressed and said “See you down stairs!” Then Freddy walked out naked and said “I’ll be down in a second, Hey Travis.” Travis turned and looked at Freddy then said “Oh shit! He’s naked.” Freddy just laughed. I put my arm around Travis and walked him out the door with me.  06252011

“Tomorrow is a new day and I’m all yours okay?”  I whispered in Travis’ ear and kissed his cheek.  He smirked and wiped it off quickly. “Dude, relax with that Mo shit.”  I laughed and smacked his ass and then ran away.  He came running after me and I ran right into this gentleman whom I had never met before.  I hit him hard.  He and I nearly fell over and he grabbed me in a bear hug and saved our fall. “Damn Son, where’s the fire?” I turned beet red and said “I am so sorry. I really should be paying attention to where I’m going.”  “It’s okay nobody got hurt.”  Right behind him came walking up was Peter and Joel.  “Hey Dad, this is one of the guys who saved us canoeing today.” Peter said.  “Uh, Frances, this is my Father Bo.  Dad this is Francis.” I shook his hand and he kissed both my cheeks and said “Thank you.”  I said “Please it’s Frankie.” “It’s a pleasure to meet you.” A woman came up to us and she smiled.  She was a slender woman in a nice evening gown and she was holding two martinis.  As she handed one to Bo Joel said “Mom, this is Frankie, one of the guys who rescued us this afternoon.”  She extended her empty hand and asked “How do you do?” I took her hand and kissed it then said “Very well thank you.” Jenna came in and just glared at the woman while she passed her. 06252011

Jenna grabbed me by the other arm and pulled me away just a little bit.  I took her hand and lowered it then said “So, how do you folks know Doug and Ben?” “Oh we’re old friends from the states.” Joel whispered in my ear, Mom’s dating his Dad.” I whispered back, “I gathered that. What should I call her?”  “Oh call her Mrs. Brentwood.” She spoke up and said “No I’m Rachel.”  Then she reached over to shake Jenna’s hand.  Jenna took her hand and said “it’s a pleasure to meet you. My name is Jenna.”  Jenna took everyone else’s hands one after the other. “Shall we go and grab a bite to eat?” Bo asked and just then Freddy walked up. “Oh wow, hey boys.  What gives?” He said to me. “I will explain later.” I said out of the side of my mouth. 06252011

A bell rang and everyone at the house was asked to join Doug and Ben in the dining room.  People were seated by their names on name tags that rested on the china.  I was in between Jenna and Freddy.  Right across from me sat Joel, Peter and their parents.  Just as soon as everyone was seated we were served the desert first.  After the desert we were served the soup. Then the main course, then a salad and then coffee. Everyone seemed to be in a good mood and really enjoying dinner.  I finished my coffee and excused myself from the table first.  Freddy followed me, then I could hear the boys excusing them too.  Before I knew it the four of us were walking quickly to our room. Once inside they said “Isn’t this cool?”  “It’s cool but also weird.  I mean we just met you guys and here you are again.”  Freddy spoke up then said “I’m going swimming.  He took off all his clothes and slid on his swim trunks. “You guys coming?”  I snapped my fingers and all three of us were changed into our swim trunks. “That’s how they know each other.  They’re Wiccans!” Peter exclaimed to Joel. “Yeah, wow this is so cool.”  We all went down to the indoor pool and jumped in.  It looked like the adults were getting into the outside pool and splashing around like little kids. 06252011

Joel asked “Shouldn’t we have waited a half hour before getting in?” Then came in with the whole other group of us and said “Nope that’s merely a myth.” Then dove in. Everyone got in and Toni and Troy ran over and set up a Volleyball net and tossed me the ball.    After we all divided up into teams We played for hours.  It was the most fun I had had in a while. Jenna was on the other side and every time I server she served.  So by the time we rotated we were against each other up front.  I was trying so hard to spike it into her and she was to me.  We both were extremely athletic and competitive. Once the games were over we all went to our own rooms then got into our pajamas and decided to carry on with a PJ party.  Our parents and the adults were all drinking and singing karaoke out by the outside pool and acting so much like fools.  06252011

The servers and staff came in and moved all the furniture out of the movie theater and tossed in about 50 bean bags.  Then they rolled in a popcorn stand on wheels and also a soda and candy bar.  Talk about gorging. During the movies we were all laying around eating and drinking and it was so much fun to be kids again. The first movie ended and we put on another one.  Half of us fell asleep.  I cuddled with Jenna on a few bean bags and then when the movie was over I walked her to her room.  We hugged and kissed good night and I went to my suite and went straight to bed. 06252011

I woke up and there were six other guys in bed with me.  I had Freddy on one side and Travis on the other. The had me all tangled up like a pretzel.  I wiggled out of the twist, and then went into the bathroom to shower.  Travis came in and he showered with me then we got toweled off and dressed.  While we were walking out he said “Are you hungry?”  “Yes, and I would like some coffee too.”  Once in the kitchen the chef sat us both down at a small bistro and he kept placing these small plates of breakfast samplers on the table.  He also made us both hot espressos.  “Don’t know about you but I am stuffed” Travis said.  “Yep, me too.”  Chef cleared the table and gave us another hot espresso.  He and I downed it and then we thanked him and left the kitchen. Doug and Ben were walking in as we were walking out. “Hey Boys, have fun see you for dinner.”  “Okay see you, thanks” Travis said. 06252011

Right outside the Villa was a car waiting for us.  The driver got out and opened the door for us and then he shut the door and got into the car, and we drove down the driveway and into town.  He drove us to a huge warehouse, then parked the car out front.  He went to the door and opened it. We got out and then I walked to the warehouse door and banged on it.  Some big guy slid it open and then we walked in and he shut it behind us.  I looked around and then I looked at Travis and he looked at me.  “You ready?”  “I was born ready!”  Guys came over and suited us up, then they handed us our guns and said “Have fun.”  I ran away first then Travis followed from behind.   The place was filled with stacks of bails of hay, and brick walls everywhere.  There were knotted ropes hanging from the ceiling.   Guys were zipping by us on zip lines and shooting towards us.  I would magically block the balls and roll out of the way.  06252011

I watched Travis and he would turn them into balls of feathers.  “Dude that’s so weird.”  “Hey it works who cares?”  We ran through the warehouse from one end to the other taking out as many hostels as we could with our paint ball guns. After the first 30 minutes we started recognizing some of the others who joined in from the villa.  They were avoiding our paint balls with magic too. I was running and I felt myself turn into a statue in mid run then I stopped and a pain ball hit me.  Once I was tagged I changed back into me and I could hear Freddy laughing, while Jenna’s gun was facing me.  “You dirty rats!” I was out.  I slapped Travis’ hand for good luck and went to the locker rooms to clean up then watch the rest of the games. 06252011

Another half hour passed and the teams narrowed down to only two players. Jenna and Travis.  Travis was cunning, and smart.  Jenna was sly and witty.  It took another two hours for one of them to get the other. The final winner was Travis. Everyone cleaned up and met me at the stands.  “So what should we do next?” I asked.  Then Travis asked “How did everyone get here?”  “We came by shuttle” Jenna said. “I’m ready for lunch” Barry cried. “Okay lets go eat at one of the restaurants out on the coast” Freddy suggested.  In no time we were escorted to the restaurant by the sea.  All of us were seated together at the window tables.  “This view is phenomenal!” Rick said. 06252011

“Lunch was amazing” Jenna said.  “Okay guys us girls are all going shopping so we will see ya’ll later.”  The guys and I sat at the benches on the docks and watched the boats, wind surfers, and animals go by.  I said to Travis “You and me, let’s go.”  “See you guys later.” Travis said and we got into the car and left. The driver too us to a famous rock climbing site where we geared up and then climbed a cliff.  We climbed up about 300 meter’s high and then there was a lake at the other side of the alps.  The road circled the alp where we were and cars would drive around to watch the climbers decent and then dive into the lake to cool off.  After that the two of us headed over to the camp grounds where the driver had set up our site and tent.  He unpacked all the camping gear we needed and food, then said “I will meet you guys here tomorrow at noon.” I build the fire and began cooking the food.  Travis set up the tent then sat down next to me on a log and said “I have some hot tea. Would you like a cup?”  “Yeah that would be nice. Thanks.”  06252011

I made dinner and we watched the sun set over the lake and ate dinner together.  I was exhausted and so was Travis.  I went into the tend made up the beds then I said “I’m ready for bed.”  He put out the fire and climbed into the tent and zipped the door closed.  He climbed in next to me and handed me a few bottled waters.  We were out in less than ten minutes.  The activities of the day wiped us out. 06252011

The night was colder than we expected.  So we had to really hold each other closely in order to keep warm through out it.  The sun came up and the tent heated up quickly. I jumped up and ran outside to bath in the lake.  Travis woke up and came out running into the lake too.  After that we got dressed, quickly packed up everything, made some coffee and then jumped into the rented fishing boat and went out with some rented fishing gear and fished all morning long.  We caught the limit and went back to the shore.  Just then the driver pulled in and loaded up the car and our things. “You guys ready to head back?”  “Yes Sir, thank you” Travis said.  I jumped in first then Travis. In about an hour and a half we were back at the villa.  I ran the fish we caught into the kitchen and handed them to the chef.  Then I went up to my room to shower and change.  By the time I stripped off all my clothes I changed my mind and decided to take a bath. I ran the water and then turned it off and got in.  Freddy came in and sat beside the tub.  “Hey, did you have a good time?”  “Yes, we went rock climbing, swimming, camping, and fishing.” “That’s cool.”  He picked up the brush and began scrubbing my back.  “Hey, you don’t have to do that.”  “I know but I’m here I might as well.”  06262011

He finished my back and I said “You’re done?”  “Yes, why?” “Are you sure?”  I smiled and then stood up and pushed him away.  I reached for the towel and dried off then wrapped it around my waist. Freddy left and then came back with some snacks and drinks. “That was fast.”  “I’m speedy Gonzales.” I got dressed and then we went out to the gardens and sad and ate while people walked in and out of the Villa.   Doug and Ben came outside and walked up to us sitting on the park bench and asked us if we wanted to head home with our parents or stay here with them.  I said “Would it be okay if we stayed here with you?”  “Absolutely you know you’re welcome anytime. We will let them know and they will want to say good bye.”  They left us and we got up and looked for all the others. 06262011

Once we caught up with the rest of the group who were playing croquette on the lawn in the center of the garden I asked who was leaving and who was staying.  Basically Freddy, Travis, Barry, and Jenna were staying and everyone else was leaving. After the game we said our good byes and then they all were taken to the airport and flew back to the states.  Melody decided to stay so that Jenna wasn’t the only girl.  Ben let us know we were only staying in Nice for a couple more days and then we would take the Yacht back to Châteaux Bertrand.  06262011

I was hoping to get in some scuba diving before we left and possibly take some underwater photos.  I asked if anyone else was interested in going with me first thing in the morning.  Travis, Barry, Jenna all said they wanted to go.  So we made arrangements to get a ride and the rentals all ready for the morning.  The rest of the afternoon we just hung out in the Villa with Rori, Luigi and Lucas.  The chefs were kicking out the food every 15 minutes and the servers were serving the drinks so we had everything we needed right there. 06262011

By night fall Ben and Doug had the service set up the outdoor movie screen and projector and we all watched a movie on the big screen in the park.  The chef served us hotdogs and hamburgers or nachos.  We had popcorn, candy, sodas, anything we wanted.  I sat next to Freddy and said “These guys are amazing.  A person could really get used to this life style.”  “Boy that’s for sure.”  Then Jenna said “You could say that again” in my ear from behind.  06262011

The movie ended and I was pretty tired.  I said my good nights, then went right to bed.  Both Travis and Freddy came up and got ready for bed too.  I loved my boys, and they loved me.  I laid there in bed thinking about how life would be with out them.  I snuggled up to Freddy and Travis snuggled up to me.  We slept soundly the whole night.  Before the alarm clock went off, Lucas came into the room and sat on the bed.  He lifted the blanked and began to tickle all our feet until we woke up.  “Hi boys, lets get ready to go, we have a great day ahead of ourselves to go scuba diving off shore.  He left and we all took our showers or baths then quickly got dressed.  I met Luigi and Lucas in the kitchen.  The Chef made us all some Italian espressos and we drank them together in the true Italian loving fashion and then said “Salute.”  06272011

Chef brought over home made biscotti and we all grabbed a few then ran out.  We headed to the shuttle where the driver was loading up our gear.  “Do you have a wet suit?” Lucas asked.  “No I was just going to go in my swim trunks. “It might be too cold for that so Lucas has and extra one that should fit you.”  Freddy and Travis walked up with Barry, and then Luigi said, “I arranged for all of you to have a wet suit that fits.  Barry you might have to borrow an extra one of mine.” I got into the shuttle and took my seat, and everyone else wasn’t too far behind.  The driver pulled into the parking lot and helped us get our gear.  I had the boys cover me while I changed into my wet suit and then I covered them so they could get into theirs. Lucas and I were the only two with under water cameras.  06282011

I asked Luigi if he would be my diving buddy and he said yes.  We left into the water together, and then I got my camera ready to take the photos.  It was so colorful and amazing under the water.  There were literally hundreds if not thousands of different species of under water creatures and animals. I snapped so many pictures.  By mid afternoon he and I decided to get out and grab a bite to eat.  We changed together just outside the shuttle from our wet suits to our street clothes and then walked the path into the small village area where there were boutiques, shops, and restaurants.  Luigi held the door open for me to enter a small café and I said “Thank you.”  As we entered there were a couple friendly servers there to greet us.  They seated us and just then Lucas and Freddy came in and asked to join us. 06292011

After lunch everyone met back at the shuttle and we returned to the Villa.  The next few days went quickly and we all went to the Yacht and headed back to the châteaux.  Once there I headed through the garden and to the small cottage.  The door was cracked slightly so I knocked on it and then I said “Hello?”  I came inside and shut the door behind me.  Just then a stranger grabbed my shoulder and I turned to see who it was.  He put his finger up to his mouth and made a shush sound.  I whispered “Sorry I didn’t know anyone was here.”  He replied “It’s okay I’m here to see you.”  “Uh, ok who are you?”  “I’m Emrys, a very distant relative of the Bertrand’s.”  “Oh nice to meet you.”  “Nice to meet you too.  Please come in and sit down.”  He explained to me why he was there and we chatted over snacks and drinks for the next few hours. He told me how he introduced himself to Doug, Ben and Rori.  He also told me about all the things he taught them and that he was hoping to teach me them too.  I said “Why me? Out of all of us why are you picking me?”  “Well, that’s because you are related to me.”  06302011

“Please sit down and allow me to explain.” I sat down in the sitting room where I usually sit when I visit the cabin. Emery came and sat down right beside me where Doug usually sits.  “Doug and Rori are my direct decedents for a woman who I had a brief encounter with when I was very young.  Your family line was from a very different woman.  She wasn‘t from this World. Her name was Sartell.  She and I fell in love and then she got pregnant and had to leave back to her home planet.  When she returned she left her new born son with me to look after and he is your patriarch at the top of your family tree just beneath me.” I just looked at him and I began to see a family resemblance.  “This is a lot to take in.  So how is it that you are here talking to me right now?  Are you some sort of a ghost or something?”  “No I cast a spell to visit you in the future and to help you understand your relationship to me and to Sartell.   06302011

Just then Sartell appeared and she said “Hello Merlin.”  “Hello my Dear.”  They both embraced by kissing and hugging and then I said “Wow, this is too weird.  Why me and not my parents?”  “Could we show you something?”  I nodded yes and then they both took me by the hand and Sartell waved her arm across the room and everything changed.  We were no longer inside the little cottage but we were in a different place.  There were trees, and hills, and clouds, and a few suns, with many animals and people.  “What is this place?” I asked.  Merlin said “This is the planet where Sartell is from, called Miyaniasis.”  “We are the same as you humans on Earth, only we’re from this World.  Our magic is similar but different.  You see, the brain function is just a number of electrical charges and sparks and the soul is energy, pure energy.  That energy is what runs the body and everything inside of it.”  Emery’s said “Imagine your soul as a nuclear power plant and your body runs off that energy.”  Sartell continued “It’s that concept that if you concentrate on it and understand it that’s the secret to harnessing all energy and power that surrounds you in all existing things.”  I was getting a little freaked out and I said “I appreciate that fact that you two are trying to explain everything to me in layman’s terms but I still can’t understand why me and my friends were chosen to have these powers and gifts. 06302011

“That meteorite was the only way that I could think of how to send you the power from here to there and it happened the way it happened for what ever reason, we just have to accept it and not ask why.” Sartell said.  They took me around and showed me everything about her World. All the people there lived life in a completely different way than our World.  There was plenty of Magic and dreams but no money or government or cars, planes, trains, nothing like that. Not even boats. “So why is this World so different than ours?”  “In this World we imagine something and it appears.  Ideas change, imagination grows, so people can just drum up what ever they want that makes them happy.”  06302011

I had so many questions, and so they both placed their palms on top of my head and sent me all the information that they knew about this planet and it flowed through out my body and into my mind.  When they were finished I collapsed, and when I came too I was back in the small cottage up in the bed of one of the two bedrooms.  I could hear people talking so I wrapped up into the nearby robe and headed down to see who it was.  There was Doug and Rori talking with Merlin and Sartell.  “Good Morning, you slept the whole day away. Are you hungry?”  Doug asked, as he began to make something up for me in the kitchen.  “Uh, yeah, sure, thanks.”  Rori smiled and Merlin and Sartell hugged and kissed me then they vanished together.   “Are you okay?”  “Yeah I was just so tired.”  “That happens. It’s information overload, I think.”  Rori said.  06302011

Doug served all of us some food, so we ate together but didn’t really say much.  I did ask what time it was, and then I helped them clean up the dinner dishes. “So are you up to traveling with us?”  “Well, I don’t know that really depends on where we’re going.”  “I was thinking about taking you back to my estate in New York for a couple days and then we would take you to Doug and Ben’s other home in California.  Would you like to see them?” Rori asked.  “I think that would be okay but can Freddy and Travis come along?”  “Sure, of course. I will go get them.” Doug said.  He left and Rori and I sat down and shared some tea.  “My place in New York is very big and there is so much to see and do there all the time.  A few days there and then in Tiburon, California will really do you some good.”  07012011

Doug, Ben, Travis and Freddy all walked in together.  “We’re ready when you are.”  Rori said “No need to pack any bags boys.  I have all the thing you will need there at my house.”  Ben clapped his hands and we all vanished into thin air.  We re-appeared in a large estate foyer that was filled with marble, tiles and dark oak wood.  “Hey this place is nice.”  Freddy said.  I was still in the robe that I had put on when I got out of bed in the cottage.  Rori snapped her fingers and I was dressed completely from head to toe.  “Those are all mine design. Please follow me and I will show you boys to your room.  Doug and Ben went to a different area of the house off on their own.  We went up a few flights of stairs and came to a door where once it was opened there was a huge room that was sectioned off with three beds.  Then down a small hall was a closet filled with neatly folded clothes and shoes, and then a full executive suit bathroom that had urinals, a bidet, toilets, a shower and a bath tub.  “Make yourselves at home and I will leave you alone for a bit.  Please note the time change here, it’s the morning.   If you need to sleep then feel free if not meet me in the reception and I will give you a full tour of the estate at that time.”  Rori said and then left us to ourselves in the room.  “This is a nice room.  I would like to take this bed if it’s okay with you guys.” Travis sat down on it and bounced up and down.  I went over to the king size bed and said “I’ll take this one.”  Freddy smiled and said “That one over there is fine.”  07022011

Freddy said “I could use a nap for a few hours.”  Travis said “Not me I already took one earlier.”  “I’m wide awake. Let’s go see where everyone else is.” Freddy stripped down and climbed into his bed and we said “See you later.” Then we drew the curtains and turned out the light. I shut the door quietly and then someone came up from behind and said in a very deep voice “Everything satisfactory Sirs?” I just about jumped right out of my skin.  “Uh, yeah….sure.  Who are you?”  “I am Valentino, the estate caretaker. If there is anything you need please do not hesitate to ask.”  He said and then wondered off up the stairs.  I said “Come on Travis follow me.”  We headed down stairs and the back to the foyer where we entered.  Then I went downstairs and there was a bottom floor game room filled with electronic arcade games, and a pool table. Travis and I spent the next few hours in there playing all the video games.  07022011

Rori walked in and then she played air hokey with Doug.  I played some pool with Travis.  “Are you guys hungry?” Rori asked.  “We’re growing boys we’re always hungry.” Doug said “What are you in the mood for?  We could either have chef make something or we could go out to eat.”  “I love pizza and I hear New York has great pizza.”  Travis said.  “Then let’s go have some pizza.”  I said “Okay but let me go get Freddy ready.”  I ran up stairs and went into my room.  Freddy was still sleeping.  I climbed on the bed and then right up to his head and began blowing into his ear.  He swatted at the air beside his hear and shook his head.  I said “Freddy, wake up we’re going to pizza.  You want to come too?”  He woke up and looked at me.  Then in a flash he was showered, clean shaven and dressed in the amount of time it took me to slide off the bed and touch the ground. 07032011

“Let’s go, I’m ready.” Freddy said while he placed his arm around my shoulder and we walked out.  “Hey we’re ready.”  “We’re not driving.  I’m going to take us there magically.” Before Doug finished his sentence we were all at the lobby of the pizza restaurant. “Good afternoon,. How many?  The host asked.  “Five please.”  Rori said.  “Hi Rori, how are you?”  “I’m good Yvette. How about you?”  “I’m really good thanks.  Right this way please.”  She seated us at a large table at the front window.  I took the chair beside the window.  07042011

The host left and a server came and poured us our drinks and then he took our order for pizza.  There were video games in a game room so we hopped up and went into play. I put my quarter into the game and then I hit start.  It was a game I hadn’t ever seen or played before.  As soon as I hit the buttons to see what they would control I was sucked into the game.  I called out for Doug and he appeared.  “Hey what are you doing in here?”  “I don’t know but I’m not happy about this.”  “Well, there’s nothing I can do.  Call Emrys and see if he knows how to get you out of here.  We will wait for you.”  Then he vanished.  I screamed at the top of my lungs “Papa!” Suddenly Emrys and Sartell appeared.  “Hi sonny, what’s the matter?”  I said “I’m stuck inside this game and it’s not how I imagined I would be playing it.  Could you please get me out of here?”  “I can but I won’t I think you are here to learn something.  So carry on and only call me in dire need.”  They vanished and I was so frustrated.  07042011

I used my magic to suit up.  I called up a shield, armor and a sword.  I also conjured up a few magic tricks inside a leather pouch and attached it to my belt.  Just then this Valkyrie came up to me and pulled out his sward and so we fought and I eventually killed him and he vanished.  I decided to turn invisible and become undetectable until I figured out what the game was about.  I followed the tails of energy to catch a glimpse of what I would be up against and then mad mental notes so I wouldn’t forget.  07052011

I ran around for the next hour just ransacking the place.  I killed every creature, alien, mythical being, computer generated power source and then I fell to the floor and just threw my hands up in the air and said “I’m done with this!”  At that moment the whole power source of the game and machine entered into me then traveled right through me and I was transported back out side the game and in my old reality.  Travis said “What happened to you?”  I said  sarcastically “Oh this game is the shit you should try it.”  Then I went back to the table and sat down with everyone to some pizza. 07052011

Everyone was debating on what to do and where to go from here.  I stood up and said “I just realized that I have a few things that I need to take care of so I will meet you later.”  I snapped my fingers and vanished.  I had magically gone to the cottage and went into the library to go through the spell books.  I was searching for a spell that would bind games and prevent them from magically recruiting me. In about an hour I was fatigued and my eyes were tired.  I stood up from the chair to stretch and then I saw a pen and note pad sitting on the end table beside the chair.  I picked it up and carefully wrote out a spell that I hoped would work.

What I needed now was a good swim.  I left the estate and headed into town where I found the YMCA.  I showed them my member card and then went to the men’s locker room to change out of my clothes and into my swim trunks.  I ran out to the pool and jumped in and swam a few laps. I came to the end of the pool and noticed that someone else just jumped in pretty close to where I was.  I came up for air and to see who it was.  This was a very tall guy.  Not that old, maybe in his early twenties.  He had blue eyes and brown hair.  He smiled at me and he said “Hey how’s it going?”  I smiled then said “Good, just getting in a few laps is all.” “Cool me too. You want to race?”  “Sure, let’s go!”  We both kept swimming back and forth then back and forth about ten times until I got fatigued, then slowed down.  He touched the wall first them pulled himself up out of the water to sit on the edge of the pool.  I came up to him and he extended his hand and pulled me up out of the water and I sat right beside him.  Just then I realized how close we were sitting to each other.  Our thighs were touching, and when I turned to speak he was right there up in my face. “You have great endurance.  Do you compete?”  “Yeah I do, thanks.” I extended my hand and then said “I’m Frances.”  He grabbed my hand and squeezed it while he shook it.  It was a good strong handshake. “I’m Lance. Nice to meet you.”   07052011

I was finished swimming so I jumped up and then I said “It’s nice meeting you.  Take care.”  He said “Yeah, I should head out too.” We walked into the locker rooms each had a quick shower and then talked a little while we got dressed.  “You live here in New York?”  “Nope I’m from out of town just visiting some close family.” “Ah, that’s cool. How long are you staying?”  “Not sure, after this we’re supposed to head to California. They want to introduce me to some friends out there.” “Man I always dreamed of going out to California.  Sure would be nice.”  “If you’re still around by the time we’re leaving, maybe I could take you out there for a visit.”  “Wow, that would be cool.”  We shook hands and I walked out first.  In the hallway I looked around, and didn’t see anyone so I magically transported myself back to Rori’s Townhouse.  07052011

I thought I felt someone touch me before I left and when I looked it was Lance.  He grabbed onto my shoulder and hitched a ride with me. “What the hell are you doing man?!”  “Sorry I had a feeling you were magical and I needed to see it for myself.”  “Why? Who are you really and what do you want?”  “I’m really who I say I am.  I had magic once and someone placed a curse on my head and removed my powers.”  “People don’t just take your powers with out any good reason.” “They did because they hated me and my family.” I grabbed him by his waste and I squeezed him between both of my hands.  I concentrated as hard as I could.  The bracelet that Rori gave me began to shine bright with energy right in the center where the stone was.  All that energy and power belted from it and into then through every inch of .  He fell to the floor and passed out.  I picked him up and took off his shoes then placed him onto the top of my bed.  I quietly left him there and went down to the kitchen to see about getting something to eat. 07052011

I talked to the chef, and asked him to have the servers bring up the food to my room.  I went to the library and looked for a book to cast a spell to remove family curses.  I found one pretty quickly so I went back to the room and I cast the spell to remover the curse before Lance woke up.  Lance woke up and he sat up and then looked at me.  “So what’s your full name?”  he said “Lancelot Dovay. I work as a bartender by night and a life guard by day.  I also sail and before I lost my magic I was a gifted member of the Search and Rescue teams.”  Just then there was a knock on the door and so I got up and opened it.  Rori and Doug came in.  “Hi are you okay?  You left in such a hurry we got a little worried.” Rori said.  Then Doug asked “May we come in?”  “Uh yeah sure.”  I opened the door fully and allowed them entrance and just then Doug said “Lance, hey what are you doing here?”  “Hi Doug, I was laid off and so I came to New York to stay with some friends.  Frances and I just met at the Y.”  “I wish you would have come to me.  I have other work for you. You must know that you’re a part of our family and if one job ends there’s always something else.”  “I took it pretty hard and I need to get away and clear my head to think.”  I decided to talk to Rori in private, so I motioned for me to pull her away while the two of them caught up.  I went over everything with her and asked her if I did the right thing?  She said “That bracelet wouldn’t allow the power transfer if he wasn’t a good person.  He and my father have known each other for years.”  I felt a littler relieved.  “Okay well I think he’s going to be staying with us for a while so I hope that’s okay.”  “Yes, of course, you guys can work out all the details. I will leave you to it.” 07052011

Rori left the room and Doug finished up with Lance.  “Take good care of him he’s a good one.”  Doug said then left.  “Wow, I am surprised that you know my relatives.”  “Oh you’re related?”  “Yes, very distant cousins.”  The server tapped on the door that was already opened and then walked in with a silver platter filled with foods and drinks and set them down.  He said “Will that be all?”  “Yes, thank you.” I responded and he left.  I said “Help yourself. You’re our guest.” As I grabbed a vine of grapes and then sat back down on the bed. I laid out the spell book so he and I could both read it.  We goofed around with some of the once that seemed to be completely harmless and just had fun practicing magic together.  “You seem to know a lot about this stuff” I said.  “Yeah I was born with it and my parents taught me everything they knew before they died in a terrible accident. Then I ran into the wrong crowd and they found out that I was magical and they didn’t like me, so they cursed me and stole my magic.”  “Do you know who it is?  Are you interested in revenge?”  “No, it’s cool.  I wanted to ask Rori, Doug, Ben or their family to help me but I was too afraid to.” “I believe that everything happens for a reason.  You might not know what it is or why when it happens but later on in life I think you figure it out.” 07052011

I whispered a spell under my breath that took us directly to the source of the person who cursed Lance.  He was so freaked out.  He looked around the place and realized where he was. “What are you doing? Are you crazy! They could take both our powers and curse our families, all over again!”  “No, they can’t. My power source is not the same as theirs and they can’t access it.”  “I sure hope you know what you’re doing.”  I looked around and the place where we were was this really old brick mortar building and what looked like cement floors.  The lights were hanging fluorescents hung by chains and they ran all the way up and down the hallways. I was getting a strange vibe and also hearing all sorts of peoples thoughts while we walked up the hallway. People were terrified, and fretting.  Complaining about the conditions that they were in.  I connected with each of them one at a time and magically moved them our of their cells and into a vacant warehouse that Rori took me to once.  We came to a thick metal door and I could feel the evil energy coming from inside. Before I opened the door I called out to my fourteen other friends, and then they appeared. “Hi Frankie what is this place?” Chantelle asked.  “I don’t know but the people here are not nice and they did something very bad to Lance here. Lance this is everyone, everyone this is Lance.”  Each of them said hi and then I kicked open the door.  Freddy flew in with precise speed and surrounded the main villain who was sitting in the chair. I cast a spell and hit his minions with energy bolts that knocked them out and they fell to the floor.  Others came in and each of us fought them off using our own special abilities. Jenna was lifting them up by their shirts and pants and flying them into the walls. Barry was picking one up and tossing him at the others who were running in to help.  I grabbed Lance’s arm and walked him right up to this evil man sitting in the chair.  He was fat, greasy and smelled unwashed.  I was gagging from the stenchy odor that was emanating off of him. I waved my arm then said  “I smell rose and not dirty toes.”  The foul smell disappeared.  I then took my bracelet and I held it with one hand and I said “Remove the power that flows through him and give it back to where it once has been.” That caused a huge energy blast that knocked everyone in the room down.  I jumped up and Lance was already chasing after the man who was trying to get away.  I said another spell and it turned the man into a statue, that suspended  him right in his tracks.  I magically set him up on a nearby cement block, and then we all left back to the New York townhouse. 07052011

Back in my room, Lance thanked me for helping him.  I said “Hey, it’s my pleasure.  I hope you plan on sticking around, though, right?”  “Oh yeah, if Doug says he needs me then I’m there for him.  They are the best people I have ever known.”  It had become nightfall and so people were getting hungry.  We all sat down and had a nice meal together and then most of the group returned back to the States. Lance thanked everyone for helping him.   Us guys wanted to go hang out in the game room.  The girls wanted to go out dancing so Rori took them along with Doug and Ben to a friends local club. 07052011

Two hours of gaming made me a little tired.  I said my good nights and went right to bed.  Once upstairs I brushed my teeth, used the bathroom, and then got into my pajamas, which was a t-shirt and soccer shorts.  I fell asleep and then I began to dream about Rori and Doug, with everyone at the dance club.  I was seeing everything as it was happening.  It made me feel weird so I discontinued that dream and went off to other dreams.  Come morning I found Freddy on one side of me and Travis on the other.  I got up and showered, then dressed and went to the kitchen for some coffee.  Lance was already up and dressed.  He was sitting at the counter on a stool reading the local paper.  “Hey good morning, did you sleep good?”  I asked. “Yeah I did I took I think Travis’ bed and he slept with you.”  “Yeah we all sleep together often.  We have been since we were like one or two years old.  Slept in the same crib and play pin you know.”  “I was thinking about going to the museum today.  Would you like to come along?  First a good swim, and then there?”   “Yeah let me go get my bag.  Be right back.”  I ran upstairs and grabbed my duffel back and then came back down.  We had breakfast and coffee together before we left.  07062011

There was no need to taxi or catch the train to the pool since we both could magically get there on our own.  This time we went to an all men’s private club, and changed into our swim gear and entered the indoor pool area.  There were six full length pools inside and only one wasn’t being used to we dove in and did our laps.  I finished first and pulled myself up onto the pool side and waited for Lance to finish.  He swam a few more then he finished up and slid out of the water right beside me.  He grabbed his towel and wiped away the water from his face.  I stood up then grabbed his hand and helped him up.  We went to the showers and showered, changed and then left for the Museum.  Once at the stairways to the Museum, he said “After this we can go catch a bite to eat.”  07062011

I walked in first and looked around then Lance walked in right behind me.  The first things we saw were the skeletal structures of huge dinosaurs. One was a Tyrannosaurus, and the other was an Apatosaurus.  As we kept walking then there were what looked like wax figures of other dinosaurs. Deinonychus, Triceraptos, Edmontosaurus, and the Compsognathus.  The last one that we saw was the Pachycephalsoraus.  Once out of the dinosaurs  exhibit we entered the mammal exhibit.   In there they had Giraffes, hippopotamus, rhinoceros, elephant, sheep, goat, wild boar, peccary, pig, whales, humans, squirrels, bears, kangaroos, and so many others.   Lance and I were becoming pretty close.  Not just as two young men who enjoyed hanging out but it seemed like every time we were together we found ourselves standing or sitting so close to each other with out any thought or effort. I began to really consider this and started wondering what is was about him that made me like hanging out with him so much.  I also began to wonder if he exploring the same thoughts himself.  He seemed to have a vast amount of knowledge regarding just about everything we would see in the Museum.  A few times he actually places his arm around my shoulder as he explained things.  I was used to having one on one male bonding with my Dad, and my good close friends so I never really gave it much thought. 07072011

I put my arm around him while we were going over the artifacts that were dug up from Egypt and Africa, because I thought for a while that I wanted to be an Archeologist during the time from Junior High to my second year in High School.  We finished the tour and then were undecided where we were going to have lunch.  Lance asked “Have you ever had Japanese?”  I said “Nope, is it good?”  “Yeah let’s go.”  We magically left the Museum and then arrived at a local Sushi place.  “Whoa you said Japanese not Sushi.  That’s raw fish.  I’m not sure I’m into that.”  I was nervous and he could tell.  “They serve other things besides raw fish.  Don’t knock it until you try it.”  He put his arm around me and with his other hand he pushed the door open for us.  07072011

“Hi, please sit anywhere you like.”  The host said as we walked in.  “Shall we sit here?”  Lance pointed at a small table next to the front window.  “Yeah that looks good” I said.  We sat down and then a little lady came over and asked us if we would like anything to drink.  “I would like water, thanks.”  “I will take some hot sake.”  We placed our orders for food and I just settled for the California Roll.  I wasn’t interested in anything too exotic or raw.  After lunch we went back to the townhouse and that’s when Ben and Doug sprang on us we all were leaving for California.  Before I could think to grab my cloths or say goodbye to anyone, we were all in Tiburon, Ca.  Right in the driveway of the estate.  The foyer was large, and the house was unique.  I hadn’t ever seen the style before.  Crown molding and pocket lighting were through out.  Doug turned on the stereo and classical music was playing on low through out as well.   07082011

“I love this place!”  We were taken on a tour of the house first that had ample bedrooms, bathrooms, living and dining rooms inside and out.  Pool, hot tub, sauna, tennis courts, horse barns and stables, open riding fields, a mall fishing lake, gardens, professionally landscape, and so much more.  “Hey Doug can Frankie and I move in here with you forever?”  “Do you guys like this place better than Châteaux Bertrand, Bayou Delight, or even Rori’s New York townhouse?”  “They’re nice and all but this place is so perfect, the weather is nice, and it just feels good” I said. “Yes, after High School you guys are welcome to come live with us anywhere you’d like” Doug said. 07072011

“We’ve raised most of our kids here, and it’s a good home and area to do business and grow up” Ben said.  “So you guys all go pick out your rooms or share them what ever you like, but just make sure you let the housekeeping know.”  “Okay.”  We said and ran to the bedrooms to find the ones we wanted.  Rori, Doug and Ben all got into their swimming suits and then headed out to the pool.  I wanted to jump on a horse before it got too late, so Lance, Freddy, Travis, Barry and I all ran out to the barns and picked out one that we wanted to ride and some cowboy helped us all load up the saddles and gear and we took off into the fields.  By the time we got to the lake we stopped to let them drink.  “This place is like heaven” Freddy said. “A guy could really get used to this sort of living”  I replied.  “That’s for sure.” Travis said.  Barry was hot so he was the first one to strip down naked and jump into the lake.  It didn’t take us long to follow suit.  We all were splashing and swimming and laughing.  07072011

In no time Luigi and Lucas were in the pool with us and they brought a football so we all tried to pass it around while treading water.  I would go tackle Freddy before he throw it, and Barry would do the same to Travis.  A few hours passed and we all were getting a bit hungry.  We got out and allowed the sunshine to dry us off on the lakeshore.  “So, what are we going to do tonight guys?”  I asked.  Travis said “Maybe we should go into the city?” “Or how about heading to the beach?” Barry said.  “I like both ideas.  Let’s go to the city tonight and the beach tomorrow?” I asked.  Luigi and Lucas got dressed and then left first while we got dressed and rode the horses back to the stables.  “I’m going to go play some tennis” Lance said.  All I wanted to do was go eat, then shower and get ready to head to the city. 07072011

I ate first then I went to my room and showered, changed and got ready.  Before I finished everyone else came in and was getting ready themselves.  We hopped onto the shuttle that took us to the city.  There were plenty of night clubs and restaurants to visit. We hit the pier 39 first and then went to each little shop and checked them out.  Then we took the trolley car.  The fog started to roll in and we were running out of ideas and things to go do so we all agreed to head back to the estate.  Once back at the estate, there was a little party going on.  Everyone was eating and drinking and having a good time.  I went to my room then got into my swim trunks and left to sit in the sauna and hot tub.  The time that I was there nobody else was up until I was just about ready to leave the sauna as Lance was coming in. “Oh hey, I didn’t think anyone was in here.”  “It’s okay.  You mind if I stay a little bit longer?”  “Nope, feel free.”  We didn’t talk much after that we just sat there and then I laid down on the bench and I felt him lay down too with the top of his head touching mine. 07072011

I actually fell asleep just for a short time in the sauna.  Lance I think did too.  I woke up then sat up and he sat up too.  “You heading over to the hot tub?”  “Yeah are you?”  “Yep, let’s go.”  I picked up my trunks and rewrapped the towel tightly around my waist.  I went out first and Lance followed.  At the hot tub I dropped the towel on the step and walked in.  He did the same and sat right beside me.  A server came with beer and water then left the tray.  “You’re not 21 but I think it’s okay to drink here on the estate property if you want.  Doug and Ben don’t mind.  You drank in France right?”  “Yeah, I don’t drink much but it’s nice to have one every now and then.” He opened the bottle of beer and took a sip from it then he handed it to me.  I sipped from it and watched him open the other one and drink from it.  Ben and Doug came up to the hot tub in towels just about a half an hour later and they dropped them and climbed in.  “Hey boys.”  “Hi guys.”  The server came back and opened a bottle of wine for them then poured two glasses.  “Would you care for anything else?” He asked before he left.  “No thank you.”  “So Frankie, what did you think of the city?”  “It was nice.  I would like to go back again.  I’m sure you can’t possible see everything all in one evening.”  “Oh no not at all, there is the theater, the art museums, and so much more you’re right.”  Doug said.  I said “We’re all planning a trip to the beach tomorrow.  Will you be coming?”  “Yes, that would be nice if you all don’t mind.” Ben said. 07072011

I smiled at everyone and then stood up to get out and grab my towel.  Lance stood up and caught me as I tripped and fell.  “I got ya.”  I looked at him and softly said “Thanks.”  I was a little embarrassed.  Doug and Ben were watching every move and when I looked over at them they both had these looks on their faces that I hadn’t seen before.  I stopped then said “What?” “Oh nothing, have a good night. Make yourselves at home.” They both said.  I went inside to my room and showered and changed into my pajamas.  There was a light knock on the door.  I opened it and it was Lance.  “Is it alright is I come in?”  “Oh yeah sure.”  He was wearing matching sweat pants with a sweat jacket. “I was wondering if you wanted to come see my apartment that is in the basement.” I thought to myself, what’s so special about a basement apartment?  Then I thought, hhhmm….I wonder why nobody showed us that in the tour?”  “Yeah sounds cool.” I walked out with him and followed him as he ran down the stairs where it was a wine cellar, someone’s office as well as a full library.  “Is this space Doug and Ben’s?”  “Yeah, everyone shares it though.”  We walked up to a huge door and he opened it.  07072011

“This is all recently remodeled.  They had everything down here upgraded when I told them I wanted it.” In the apartment first thing was the living room.  It had a couch, an end table, plus one chair.  The walls had very little art displayed and a huge flat screen TV on the wall across from the couch.  I noticed right away the dark hard wood floors. “Doug had this put in and the whole apartment is tied into the sound, entertainment system with Bose surround sound.”  “They sure know how to decorate.”  I said, then felt stupid for saying it. Lance chuckled and grabbed my hand and pulled me through the living room then into the kitchen.  It was cherry oak cabinets, Corian Silestone counter tops, with crown molding on the ceiling and decorative molding along the Italian tiled floors.  The appliances were stainless steel and there was no expense spared on anything in the kitchen.  Even down to the single front load washer and dryer combo that I had seen when I was touring Europe. We continued through the kitchen and up to a door.  He opened it and it was a large bedroom with one big bed in it.  Very little furniture, just the necessities.   He said “This is just the bedroom, but wait there’s more.”  He walked up to a book shelf that went from the ceiling to the floor.  He grabbed from what I could tell was the thickest book on that shelf them pulled it out half way.  That book shelf started to slide away into the wall, and the only thing left was a huge circular opening with hanging light bulbs on a wire every ten feet.  “Are you taking me to the dungeon Sir?”  “Huh?  No nothing like that, just come along.”  He pulled me by my hand and I could feel the heat and his pulse coming through his grip.  07072011

It was getting colder, the further away we traveled away from the entryway.  There was a slight breeze blowing by me, it also had a light mist with it. “I’m smelling sea air and water.”  We must have gone about 200 meters.  There it was a cave that on one side of it opened up to the bay, and waves came crashing into the rocky and sandy mixture beach.  I stopped and looked around, and saw flame lit torches on the walls.  There was a natural stone table and matching stone seats on both sides of it.  Lance walked me past the table and along one wall of the huge cave was an altar.  “This is everything that my family has used over the thousands of years, and they gave it all to Doug and Ben to watch over it for me.”  “Why don’t they have their own place in your family’s estate?”  “That’s a good question.  Over the years our estates were lost in Wars, and when some members went into hiding.” “Oh that’s not cool.  I’m sorry.”  I walked up to the altar and this Blue diamond lit up and seemed to be energized by me.  “That’s a Cambodian Blue Hi Zircon called Starlight. It was my Grandfathers favorite gem.”  “It’s amazingly beautiful.”  “You can have it if you want.”  “That wouldn’t be right.”  He picked it up and turned my hand that he was still holding upwards then delicately set it inside of my palm and closed my fingers around it.  Right as he did that I vanished from the cave. 07072011

I began to have anxieties and when I arrived where the stone had magically taken me I fainted.  By the time I came to, I couldn’t remember what I saw last before I fainted. I got up off the ground and I realized that I was inside a force field. I started to panic.  I was chanting all the spells that I could think of, and I was trying to magically teleport myself out but everything I did wasn’t working.  A half hour passed and I just sat on the ground and meditated.  I sent distress signals to Ben, Doug, Rori, Emrys, and Sartell.  I heard someone come into the room and slam the door shut behind them.  I didn’t budge, I just continued to try to communicate to my family and friends. I opened my eyes and this woman was standing there looking at me.  She never said a word she just stood there.  She had white skin and long red hair.  Her lips were red and her eyes were dark green.  Not like any green that I had ever seen before.  She spoke to me telepathically.  “Why do you have that gem?”  I said “It was given to me as a gift from a friend. What is this place and who are you?”  “Never mind that.  That Gem is a special amulet and if it’s not presented to the person who is giving it in a ceremonial fashion then the person receiving it will end up here, and powerless.”  She reached out and touched my hand and then read my mind to see what happened.  After the vision finished she let go then said “Lancelot must have forgot that.”  She said out loud.  “Please accept our apologies, and forget about this transgression.  Walk in peace. Go filled with love. Now and forever!” I watched her as she waved both her arms and I disappeared then reappeared back where I was in the cave.  Lance was tossing book after book onto the table and flipping through them in a panic.  I guessed he didn’t know I was there.  I walked up to him and lightly tapped him on his shoulder and he screamed and jumped up and then down.  “Oh , Jesus! You scared the hell out of me. Are you okay?” “Yeah I’m fine.  You forgot to give this to me in a ceremony and so I got into a little trouble over it.”  “Oh shoot, I did forget about that.  I’m so sorry.”  He grabbed me with both his hands and arms then pulled me in for a very long, tight, strong hug.  07072011

I noticed that after he hugged me someone else had entered the cave with us.  He turned to see who I was looking at and it was Lucas.  “Hi, everything okay?”  “Yeah, we’re cool.”   Then in a short moment Luigi came in after Lucas said that.  “Hey what’s up guys?” “Nothing much I am just showing Frankie here the secret cave.”  “If you show everyone it won’t be a secret anymore” Luigi said. “I know, and something just happened to him after I showed him the cave, so I think this is supposed to happen to him.”   Luigi magically cleared the table of all the books that Lance had taken down and they were replaced into their glass cabinets. “What brings you guys down here?” Lance asked.  “We had some of our family books and items shipped over from Italy today and we were just checking to see if they were put away.” Lucas said.  “The only people who know about this secret place is Me, my brother, Lance, you, Doug, Ben, and Rori.  We need to keep it that way.” “No, that’s not true.” Lance said. They looked at him with a very stern look “Who else knows?”  “Jasper knows, and so does Merlin and Sartell.”  I looked over everyone and was trying to get a read on what was going to happen next.  I couldn’t figure it out. “Okay you interested in playing some Wiccan Poker?”  They both asked us as they sat down at the table and Luigi began shuffling the cards.  “Yeah I am” Lance said.  “Uh, how is this played?  What are we betting with?”  “It’s magical.  You offer powers or talismans, anything that is charmed.” Lucas said.  “I don’t have anything, so I will sit this one out.”  Just then a basket of tokens and things appeared in front of me.  I picked them up and looked each of them over and I recognized that they were from my parents house.  “Are these………….?” “..YES!..” Lance interrupted me.  “Well then count me in.”  While I was being dealt my cards the overwhelming reality hand sunk in.  My parents are magical and I had never known it until this very moment. 07072011

I picked up my cards and looked them over.  I wanted to discard two and keep three.  I set the two down on the table and Luigi said “Two?”  “Yeah two please.”  He gave me the cards and then I picked them up and put them in place. I took a totem from the basket and set it in the center of the table.  Everyone else added something too.  We went around again and I said “Stay.”  After the bids were places and we all stayed with our hands they asked me to put down first.  I set my cards down and I had four aces and one ten.  “Four of a Kind.”  Lucas tossed his cards down.  Lance placed his down then said “Straight Flush.”  Luigi got a big smile on his face then placed his cards down and said “Read them and weep boys Royal Flush”.  He scooped all the tokens up and set them in a sashay tote bag.  Lucas took the cards and dealt the next hand.  07082011

Luigi reached into his pocket and pulled out an Italian Sterling Silver Cuban necklace with a pewter crescent moon designed cobalt glass blue bottle and set it out on the table.  Lucas stopped dealing the cards and looked at him.  I was thinking to myself how beautiful it was and that it didn’t look like something a person would ever want to just bet away on a poker table. Then Lucas shouted “That was Moms and I won’t let you squander it away!”  Lucas said “Everything used to be Mom’s before it was ours!”  He grabbed it before Lucas could and pushed it closer into the center of the table.  Lucas snatched it away and then he stood up and ran across the cave.  There were two granite pillars that ran vertical with each other just about three feet apart.  Lucas ran in between them and a huge energy serge came on and in a flash of a light he was gone. Luigi got up and ran after him and the same thing happened.  I looked at Lance and said “What the hell is that?”  “It’s a version of our magical time machine.  They probably went back in time to see their parents before they died in the accident.  Sibling drama I think.”   07092010

I grabbed my basket of things and stood up from the table then I said “Well this has been fun, but I should get back to my room.  Thanks for sharing with me.”  “Here let me walk you out.”  Lance got up and then we both walked out of the cave down the long hallway and back into his apartment.  “Can I offer you some hot tea before we say goodnight?”  “Yes, that sounds nice.”  We went into the kitchen and I sat down at the table and watched him prepare the tea for us.  07102011

He finished the hot water and brought out two tea cups and saucers then set everything in front of me on the small table.  He slid his chair closer to me and then he sat down.  He picked up the tea pot of steeping tea and held onto the lid and swirled it around inside.  He never took his eyes off of mine while he did it.  His smile came and it was very friendly, warm and sincere.  I couldn’t help but smile back.   He leaned over and reached out for the cup off of the saucer in front of me then he began to pour my tea.  After that he set my cup down and then he poured his.  “Do you take cream and/or sugar?”  “Yes please.”  He stood up and then got out the milk from the refrigerator and a sugar cup then set them down beside me on the table and returned to his seat.  I took two cubes of sugar and poured the milk into the tea.  That’s when I noticed that the tea was already magically stirring itself in a circular motion.  “Now that’s a cute trick.”  I said then sipped the tea.  07082011

He picked up his and sipped it.  “You don’t have to go home right away do you?  I really like your company.”  “No I don’t.  I like yours too.”  “I have a few good movies if you want to stay and watch one with me.”  I sipped the tea and thought about it for a moment.  “I guess I could stay for one, then I should go.”  “Hey no worries.”  He picked up is tea and then put out his hand.  I grabbed my tea and gave him my hand and he walked me into the living room where we set the tea on the end table and sat together on the couch.  The television came on and a movie began to play.  I slipped off my shoes and sat back to relax.  He was right next to me, shoulder to shoulder.  I fell asleep half way through the movie and so did he.  07082011

By the time I had woke up I realized it was morning and we had been there all night.  There was a blanket draped over our laps.  Lance was still asleep and leaning on my shoulder. I carefully slipped out from under his head and shoulders and then I quietly exited his apartment.  I got up to my room then removed my clothes and climbed into bed.   The door opened and then shut but I never looked to see who it was because I was completely cover up under my blankets. I felt someone lift the blankets and slide up under them and then he slid right up next to me.  “Hey, where’ve you been?”  “I was hanging out with Lance.”  Freddy slid his arm under me and the other one over me and we fell asleep like that.  07082011

Barry and Travis came in and jumped on the bed until we both woke up.  Barry tackled Freddy and they fell to the floor.  Travis was sitting on me and slapping me in the head.  “Wake up!” I grabbed Travis hands and threw him to the floor.  He fell loud and hard.  “What are you guys doing?!”  “We miss you and want to hang with you today.” Travis said . “Besides aren’t we supposed to head to the beach?” Barry asked.  “Oh yeah I forgot.”  I jumped out of bed and ran into the bathroom.  After my shower I got dressed and Freddy came out of the bath and he got dressed too. “What beach?”  “It’s a beach called Stinson’s beach.” Freddy said.  07082011

I said jokingly in a way to copy Doug “Babushka!”  clapping my hands and we all were there in the parking lot of the beach.  “Hahahahahaha That was funny!” Freddy said.  “Don’t tell Doug, I’m just joking.” Barry smacked me in my ass and then Travis as they ran by and out to the beach.  I ran after them with Freddy zipping by everyone in a half a second.   The three of them were in the water I laid out a towel and got down on it to catch some more rest.  I wasn’t sure how much time had passed but I was woken up by a shadow that was cast over me and blocking out the sun.  I turned over to see who it was and it was Jenna.  “Hey, what time did you guys get here?”  “I’m not sure because I fell asleep.”  “Well, everyone is over there and we have tons of food and drinks.  Come over.”  I smiled and picked up my towel and the guys ran up to me and asked “Where are we going?’  I pointed and when they realized our whole group was here they all ran ahead of us to meet with them.  There was a small group of people playing guitars, and other musical instruments and singing while others danced.  07082011

I saw Lance Gérard talking to Lancelot Dovay so I walked over to them leaving Jenna and then set out my towel next to Lancelot.  “Hey.”  “Hey” They said.  “I have to figure out what to call you two so we don’t get you confused with each other.”  “You call me Gérard  and you could call him Dovay, dork.” “Or call me Lancelot.”  “I will call him Gérard.”  I said as I pointed at him.   Rori came over and she sat beside me.  “Do you like BBQ’s oysters?  Dad’s making them and he had about eight different dipping sauces for you to try.  Doug and Ben were BBQ’ing and had two portable picnic tables made out with all kinds of foods and sauces and drinks on them.  They were under tents that someone had put up. I said “Excuse me guys.” Then followed Rori over to the BBQ.  “Hi Frankie, you sleep good?” I grabbed the back of my neck and squeezed it while I turned my head back and forth.  “Yeah not too bad thank you.” I looked over at Lance and he was looking at me.  He smiled and I smiled back.  Rori saw it then she said “That’s very interesting.”  “What is? What are you talking about?”  “I saw that.”  “You saw what?”  “You and Sir Lancelot are making smiling eyes at one another.” Both Ben and Doug stopped what they were doing at the instant and looked at me and then him. 07102011

I turned red and was feeling a little weird about the conversation so I tried to derail it but it didn’t work. Jenna came over and asked “What are we talking about?”  “Oh our studly quarterback Frances here is having intimate feelings towards Lance.” Rori said as she kissed me on my cheek.  I could feel the redness fill up my face and neck.  The flush feeling really made me start to feel just a tad bit dizzy. “no way! You mean Lance Gérard?”  “No, our Lancelot Dovay.”  Jenna just smiled and said “I see, this IS….interesting.”  I pushed Jenna then said under my breath “Shut Up.” Ben and Doug walked over then they said, “You do what every makes you happy.  You have our support and blessings.”  Rori held up an oyster after she poured some hot sauce on it and sucked it down then said “Ditto Cuz!” 07102011

“He’s a little old for me.  I’m considered Jail Bait.”  Then Jenna said “Not if you and everyone else says it’s okay.”  I looked at her then asked “You say it’s okay?”  “Are you kidding me?  I happen to think it’s adorable.”  The guys ran up and asked what we were talking about and Rori and Jenna interrupted me before I could answer and said “How you boys are missing out on these fresh delicious BBQ’d oysters!” “I heard they’re an aphrodisiac and they keep a guys wiener hard just like Viagra.” Travis said and all the guys laughed.  “It’s supposed to work the same for women.” Jenna said.  The rest of the group finished playing a volleyball game and came to eat. Freddy stopped what he was doing and looked at Jenna with a straight but confused look. “What it makes a chick hard?” All the girls laughed and I just shook my head. 071002011

I got my plate full of food and just wondered off thinking deep in thought about what just happened and what it all meant.  Before I got too far off Lance ran up to me with his plate and then said “Care if I join you?”  “Huh, what?”  “Are you eating alone?”  “Oh, no, yeah sure… please.”  We both sat down on the sand facing the ocean and he said “You okay?  You seem just a little distracted.”  I cleared my throat then I said “Oh, I just came to realize something very personal about me and I’m trying to digest it is all.”  “Oh, well I’m here for you if you ever need to talk.”  We didn’t talk about that but we did talk about the beach, and the heat, and the oceans waves and what a beautiful spot it was that we were at. 07102011

My boys all came over and sat with us.  “After we eat are you two going to join us in a game of Volleyball?  It’s Girls VS Guys”  “Yeah count me in.” I said looking at Lance.  He nodded while he ate his oyster.  At that moment Luigi and Lucas appeared and they were not fighting like they were the last time we saw them together.  Luigi was hugging Lucas while Lucas was wiping away his tears.  “Hey guys, everything okay?” Lance asked.  “Yeah, we went back to see our parents before the accident and it was a little heart wrenching since we couldn’t warn them or change their destiny in any way.” Luigi explained.  “There’s some great food over there” I said pointing to the tables and tents.  “Thanks” Lucas said while the brothers walked together over to the tent. 07102011

Once we beat the girls team at volleyball the first three out of four games the sun began to go down and so we all sat and ate more then watched the sunset over the ocean.  The colors were spectacular, pinks, oranges, blues, purples, yellows, and grays. Jasper showed up with a few of his friends and he had plenty of hooch to go around.  “Here you boys take this.  I know you’re not at the legal age to drink but technically no one is when it comes to hooch.  Just drink little bits at a time. Be safe.”  He said handing me and Barry a jug each. “it’s not like any of us are driving.”  Barry said and took his swig then passed the jug on.  Rori had magically started a beach fire that was fueled on powers and surrounding energies. I took a swig and passed it off to Lance.  He took a swig and passed it off to Jenna.  She did and then it got passed around the fire. 071002011

Lance stood up then he grabbed my hand and pulled me to my feet and we went off away for a walk together on the beach alone.  He continued to hold my hand and it felt just like it did the first time he held it.  “Do you mind?”  He held up our hands for me to see them and I just shook my head no. At that moment we were watching the same shooting star shoot its way across the horizon and into the dark.  “That was amazing.”  We both stopped walking and it was an area where nobody was around and all we could hear was the crash of the waves up on the shore.  He looked into my eyes and then smiled I looked into his and just froze.  He set his other hand on the side of my cheek and then he leaned in towards me.  I shut my eyes, and he kissed me.  It was a long, soft, warm wet kiss.  I could really feel the love behind it.  I knew at that exact moment that Lance and I had something special. 07102011

I didn’t know what made me say it but nervously I stated that I was going to be turning 18 in only a few months before the Senior year starts.  He smiled and said “I’m 24, so that’s not too far ahead of you.”   “Oh, cool only six years.  It’s nothing.”  I kissed him again and then we laid down on the beach together and kissed and hugged for a very long time.  Freddy came over with Travis and they just froze in their tracks.  They never said a word.  They just watched us as we were making out.  Freddy cleared his throat and I jumped up and said “Oh hey guys, what’s up?”  “Most of the group is heading back to the house.  I was wondering if you guys wanted us to wait for you or go ahead, and we can meet you back there?” Lance jumped to his feet then said “We can go now, it’s cool.   Lance leaned down and grabbed my hand then pulled me to my feet. He put his arm around the guys and walked off with them.  I caught a wink from him as he walked off.  I was wondering how the guys were going to take all this. 07102011

Each person magically transported themselves to the estate.  Ben and Doug had housekeeping arrange the bunk house for everyone.  Boys on one side and Girls on the other.  All the other rooms were given out to the other visitors.  People went to do their own things, like play pool, or go bowling, or swimming, or tennis, or watch movies.  The guys were moving their things from the guest rooms to the bunk house.  Lance and I went to his apartment and continued where we left off.  Nothing in my entire life felt so natural and beautiful as that night did that we shared together.  Come morning, I woke up late and Lance had already made us coffee and breakfast.  I was served it in bed and it was perfect. 07102011

Summer had ended, and all of us were supposed to go back to William Whittman to finish up our Senior year.  We said our goodbyes and thanked Rori, Doug, and Ben for being such perfect hosts.  Before I let go of hugging Doug he whispered in my ear “We are not only family but we are good friends.” I nodded and then said goodbye to Lance in the secret cave.  “Anytime you need me you take that stone I gave you and you think about me and it will call me to you.”  I whispered “Thank you.  I will miss you” in his ear then we all left.  All of our families were moved into the houses in the brand new neighborhood that was built on the Doctors private Ranch, and everything we needed was there in a small town just black away from the houses.  We were shuttled from the Ranch to school everyday.  I began to train for football season pretty heavy and I hadn’t seen Lance much while we focused on that. My parents and I had a heart to heart talk about me and Lance and they were just happy that I was happy.  The guys never talked about it but every now and then they would poke fun at me in the showers or on the field.  07102011

Somehow Luigi and Lucas were hired as assistant coaches to our coach so they attended all our practices and games. The rival High School that was across town was called Frank Leavy Senior High.   That football team had been our worst contenders since the High School was built.   They had been around for 75 years and didn’t like the idea of the city growing and needing a new High School. The preseason game we had was a disaster.  We arrived on their field early and then began playing.  In the middle of the game one of their Line Backers managed to take out Freddy.  I was bewildered because he was so fast, but this guy seemed to know his every move before he made it.  After that happened Barry was out for blood.  I tried to calm the guys down and get refocused and centered but nothing I said or did seemed to be working.  Luigi and Lucas were using their powers of healing on Freddy to try and get him back into the game. That same pit bull took out Barry by the half time.  I wanted to use magic to get revenge so bad but I knew that wouldn’t be fair. 07102011

We lost that game and the rivals never let us forget it while they chanted and shouted and threw things at our bus while we pulled away. Back at the High School a doctor was called in and he took a look at all over us who were injured in the game. The next few weeks that school managed to get a hold of one of our nerdiest geeks and strip him down to only his underwear and tie him to the windshield of our school bus right before another away game.  The cheerleaders were furious. “This means War!”  I took a deep breath and hoped for the best. 07102011

It was mid season and we hadn’t lost another games since the one against Frank Leavy.  That was a pre-season game so it didn’t count.  We were two weeks away from playing them only this time on our own field.  Monday morning after the past weekend I came down stairs to eat breakfast with my parents before school and Mom and Dad were glued to the television set.  “Hey honey did you know this kid?”  I watched the anchorman report a death of a classmate that had been killed in a freak accident.  The kids had tied a rope around his ankles and then were teasing him by trying to catch the other end of it with a lasso to the passing train.  The kid on the TV said “Nobody ever thought anyone would actually catch the train with the lasso.” Then she went off the air crying. The boy was named Henry Morton.  He kept to himself and studied hard and was hoping to become an  Infectious disease scientist at the CDC.  We all thought he was going to become one too.  07102011

This accident put fire into the eyes of every student at our school.  They were plotting revenge in small groups and clicks.  I tried to get people to stop and think about what could happen if this continued but nobody would listen to me.  The leading bully of the group at Frank Leavy was named John Venezuela.  After school one day that week I scheduled a private meeting with him to try and sort things out.  “Hey John.”  “Hey Frances.”  “Is there anything we can do to end this rivalry?”  Not unless you all want to move out of the area.”  I left him frustrated and just didn’t know what else to do.  I decided to worry about myself and football and graduation, and less about this stupid war, but it was close to impossible to do with everyone around me getting involved. 07102011

The grades were up.  My buddies were doing good too.  Once a week the fourteen of us would meet at the clubhouse and talk about this rivalry and what we might be able to do to fix the problem.  “If you ask me, we should just round them all up and then beat the living shit out of them”  Barry said.  “What good would that do?” I asked.  Beatrice spoke up “Then let’s curse them with such bad luck that they can’t think about anything else.”  “That thought crossed my mind a couple of times” Jenna said.  “Mine too” I replied. Pearl stood up and said “They can’t hurt us if we all stand together on this.  Not only us but the whole school.”  “I agree but how are we going to  do it?” Jason asked. Both Rick and Veronica pulled over a white board and began to plot out a plan.  All of us just sat and watched never speaking one word.  07102011

I went to Rori, Doug, and Ben and told them about our plan.  They loaded me up with all the spell book we could get our hands on.  Before going back home I spent the weekend there at the estate with Lance.  He made a suggestion to me and I just let it soak in until I knew exactly what I needed to do.  We didn’t really go anywhere that weekend.  Just hung out and watched good movies.  Played a few board games.  The ones that don’t suck you in and force you to use magic. We also spent time with Rori, Doug, and Ben too.  07102011

The first day back to school it had been egged and toilet papered.  “Really mature.” I said to myself walking up the stairs into the hallways.  Beatrice, Chantelle, Veronica and Melody all grabbed me before my boys could and carted me off to the gym.  “What’s up girls?  What’s this about?”  Jenna walked out and said “I just heard they’re going to target our Prom.” The prom was a few weeks after our next game with Frank Leavy.  I sat down beside her on the bleachers and just spent the next few hours contemplating.  07102011

“I think we should make them think they are going to sabotage our Prom.  Let them think it’s here and really have it somewhere else.  We could have it at the ranch were the property is secure and protected.”  The girls got up really excited and started working on spells that decorated, and conjured up ghostly bands and DJ’s. I went to class late and after I explained what I was doing with my teacher she excused me. 07102011

I met with the group after school in the gym and I explained to them my idea.  “These guys have relatives who have passed away and used to attend Frank Leavy.  I say we conjure them up, and then convince them into having one last prom here at our school.  Then when our rivals try anything it’s really happening to their ghostly relatives.  The theme could be the roaring twenties.”  Jenna magically produced a list of the Frank Leavy Senior High School graduating class of 1921.  We went down the list and called every name off of it until their ghost appeared. They all stood there looking at us and looking around at themselves.  “Hi, some of you may know me or none of you do, but my name is Frances Torrelo.  I am the quarterback here at William Whitman Senior High.  We magically summonsed you to ask you if you would like to have another chance to relive your Senior Prom of  1921 here.  Maybe some of you have regrets, and wish you could have done something different?  Or perhaps there were no regrets and it was such a blast that reliving it would be a true blessing?  Either way, this  is an offer you couldn’t possibly ever pass up.  The main reason is because it’s an offer you will never have again.  So, I ask you…..how many of you would like a second chance? Please show by raising  your hands.”  It was unanimous.   I cast a spell that I made up right off the top of my head.

They all went back to where they came in a cloud of dust.  “Dude, you really need to work on your spell writing, it sucks”  Freddy smarted off.  I just laughed and put my arm around him then I lovingly punched him in his nuts. “Ouuuu………. You dick.” I kissed his cheek and then we walked out of the gym. “You want me to massage that for you?” I asked as we were walking out to the parking lot.  “Yeah, would you?”  We got into my truck and I drove back to the Ranch. 07102011

Although Freddy lived right next door he always stayed with me when I was home.  He actually stayed in my room even when I wasn’t there.  His parents were nice and all but parents were both doctors and when they weren’t sleeping they were running out the door to go work at the hospital. My parents got used to the idea after the second grade.  We parked the truck then ran inside.  “Hey Mom Dad, we’re home.”  We both ran upstairs to my room.  I was needing a shower after football practice and so I stripped down and jumped into the shower while Freddy turned on my PC and checked his e-mails and facebook. 07102011

Dad came in and said “Hi Freddy.”  “Hey Pop”  Freddy responded.  Dad came into the bathroom while I was in the shower and was telling me about dinner.  “Uh yeah Dad, we’ll be down there in just a few.”  “Okay then….”  He left the room with a little smile at Freddy.  Freddy used his hand to solute Dad as he usually does.  I walked out with my towel in hand and dried off.  While I was drying off, I turned on my lap top and sat down on my bed to check my e-mails and facebook page too. 07102011

I set the lap top on the end of the desk and got dressed into my sweats.   “Come on let’s go eat dinner.”  We ran down stairs and met Mom and Dad at the dining room table.  “Hey boys thanks for joining us.”  “Thanks Mom.” After dinner we all watched a movie together, then the local news, and then Freddy and I went to bed.  “Good Night.”  We kissed them and went back upstairs.  Freddy got on the computer and the web cam and was web chatting with some friends.  I got into bed and started reading a good book.  07102011

Freddy wrapped up his video chat and then he got undressed down to his underwear and jumped into my bed.  I turned and looked at him with a mean look on my face then I said “Don’t you have your own bed?”  “Uh, yeah but…”  I just laughed and pinched his nipple a little.  “Just kidding with you.”  I set the book down and turned off the light and then said “Good night Honey.”  Freddy said “Sleep good Dear.”  07102011

I heard something I wasn’t used to hearing in the morning.  It was a bunch of noise and banging downstairs.  I jumped out of bed and ran down stairs.  By the time I got to the living room I was knocked off of my feet and I hit the floor, hard.  It nearly knocked me out.  Freddy came running down like lightening and he was trying to stop the intruders.  Mom and Dad were magically fighting off three men and one woman.   I came to my senses and then I rendered myself invisible. I ran up and I grabbed the fireplace poker and came up to one of the guys and I struck him over the head with it as hard as I could.  Then I cast a spell and he turned into a tiny little puppy.  I ran over to the other one dripping the poker by accident and he blasted me with an energy bolt that made me fly over the couch.  Freddy had whacked him over the head with a huge cast iron skillet, that knocked him unconscious.  Mom managed to get close enough to the woman who was attacking Dad and she shrunk her into a half an inch tall. Then she picked her up and tossed her inside her pajama top pocket.  Dad, in that time got a hold of the other guy and he drug him by his hair out of the house and into the back yard where he changed him into a worm then grabbed the lid and tightly sealed him inside. “Are you okay Son?”  “Yeah just a little head ache is all.”  “Freddy you okay?” Mom asked.  “Yeah I’m good thanks.”  “Mom what’s going on?”  “These seem to be parents of some of the kids at Frank Leavy Senior High School .  Mom said.” “It would appear that the rivalry has spread to the adults” Dad said.  Dad got on the phone and then hung up.  Just then a very old man appeared.  He looked like someone I had seen before only different.  More hair, longer, everywhere, and white.  He round up the trespassers and then he vanished.  “Oh Jesus Christ!” “Watch your mouth!”  “Sorry Mom, but what is going on here?  This is insane!”  Dad said “I have to go I will be back before dinner.”  He snapped his hands and vanished.  Mom magically picked up the house so it returned to it’s original state.  “Boy’s sit.”  We both sat at the table while Mom fed us breakfast.  She explained that the adults have been rivals at the same school long before our new school was built.  All of the sudden our little problems were so tiny compared to the problems we all were facing after this. 07102011

I told Mom about the other kids from the other school.  Freddy and I explained to her what we had done and what we were planning to do.  “I think it’s brilliant.  I only hope that the adults don’t decide to get involved.”  “But how would they know?”  “I don’t know, sometimes they are psychic, and other times the relatives from the other side might tell them.” Freddy ran upstairs and brought down his backpack.  He opened it and reached in then he pulled out a book with an old leather cover.  He set it on the table and opened it.  “Right here, it’s a spell to block all seeing, that would take care of just about any source of soothsayer or psychic.”  Mom turned the book to her and read the spell out loud:

“Okay we need to get ready for school come on Freddy.”  We both ran up stairs, and I said to him “Dude you let my parents see you in your underwear.”  “What was I supposed to do get dressed first?”  “Uh yeah!  You’re like the Flash!”  We both showered together and then got dressed, grabbed our backpacks and said bye to Mom and drove back to school.  07102011

Back at school everything seemed like it always did.  Before Freddy and I could even get out of the truck my boys were surrounding us and all talking to us at the same time.  “Dudes, I can only hear one conversation at a time!”  I was so irritated after the morning we had.  Gérard and Barry started to mess around with Freddy and  Travis , Jason and Rick pulled me aside and asked me if I knew anything new about the boy who got killed?  “Not anything more than what I heard on the news.  He was a sweet kid and he certainly didn’t deserve it.”  I got an idea so I said “Guys go on in with out me.”  I vanished and reappeared in the cave at the time machine.  I walked in thinking about Henry Morton.  I appeared at the exact moment the kids had tied his feet up and were tossing the lasso.  I used magic to catch the rope on fire then we disappeared back through the time machine.  We hit the floor with him on top of me. “Hi, are you okay?”  “I’m a little freaked out but yeah.” I said “I’m sorry I would have come sooner had I realized I could have helped with the time machine.”  “It’s okay the important thing is that you came and I’m alive now. Thank you.” I helped him to his feet and then I grabbed his hand and we went back to the campus. I walked him up the stairs into the halls and people who saw us just froze dead in their tracks and watched us as we passed them.  I took him to the counselors office and then went to class.  07102011

What Henry Morton didn’t know is that after I saved him he became magical.  A fraction of my powers transferred from me to him and they would grow over time.  I knew nothing bad would happen to him after that. I opened the door to class and sat in my seat.  The principal and counselor entered the room and interrupted class with Henry.  People were whispering and talking about him being alive and then they asked if they could see me.  “Mr. Torello, please.”  “Excuse me.” I grabbed my back pack and left class.  They walked me back to the Principals office and then they asked me to be seated.  I sat down in the empty seat next to Henry and he looked confused. I winked and smiled at him and that’s when my Principal began to really lay into me. “Now, Frankie what’s your version of the story?" Just before I finished the story both my parents and Henry’s parents walked in together.  They ran over screaming and crying then embracing him.  He vanished then reappeared then vanished again.  I looked at my  Mom and Dad and they had really confused looks on their faces.  07102011

Henry reappeared only this time he was standing alone against the book shelves in the corner of the office.  “Henry, calm down please. Everything is fine. He’s not the same because now he is magical but after he learns about it and how to use it things will improve.  You…”  I pointed at his Mom and Dad “…need to be there for him and support him.”  Then I turned to the Principal and Counselor and asked “Now is there anything else?”  “No that will be all, thank you.” He said.   I walked up to Henry then I grabbed him by both of his shoulders and said softly “You are not alone.  There are more of us here and you really need to hang out with them.”  Then I left with my parents.07102011

I put my arms around Mom and Dad, and everything I did was transferred to them in memory.  They stopped and asked me “How do you know if you didn’t alter the present in a negative way by interfering?” I said “I don’t know but my heart and gut tell me everything is okay.” My parents walked me back to class and said bye.  After school everyone was trying to get my attention and find out first hand what I did to get Henry back. I just laughed it off and said something like read about it in the school paper folks.  Freddy and I got into the truck and drove home.  At home I got into my sweats and Freddy got into his and we worked on our homework together.  Mom knocked on the door and then slowly opened it “Frankie, Freddy there’s someone here to see you.”  She slid the door all the way open and it was Henry he was standing there with his back pack, and looking a little bit shy.  “Hi Henry come in sit down.  We’re just doing our homework.”  “Do you want to borrow a pair of my sweats?”  “Uh yeah sure that sounds nice.”  Freddy got up and handed Henry a pair of his sweats and Henry went into the bathroom to change.  “He’s a little bit shy.”  Freddy whispered to me.  I just laughed and shook my head.  07102011

Henry came back in then sat down beside us on the floor. He reached into his backpack pulled out a book and then started working on his homework.  After we finished our homework Mom came up and asked if Henry was staying for dinner?  Before he could answer I answered for him “Yeah Mom, he’s staying.”  I put my books into my back pack and set it aside.  They did the same.  “Okay Henry, the first thing I am going to teach you is how to magically teleport yourself.  This is what you do.  You clear your mind then concentrate on the place where you want to be, and in no time you will appear there. So for starters try to teleport to your bedroom and back.”  He closed his eyes and whispered “home.”  He vanished.  Freddy hit me and said in a panic “How will he get back here? You forgot to tell him that!”  “Sssshhh just watch!”  A few minutes passed and Henry was back sitting in the exact same spot where he was before.  07102011

“Very good Henry.  Now the next thing is try to move things with your mind.  I grabbed a soccer ball and then sat back down on the floor.  I opened my legs and then said “You guys do the same. Our feet should touch.” I carefully rolled the ball to the center and watched it come to a stand still.  “Okay Henry concentrate on the ball.  Make it move from the center of the space to any one of us.”  The ball wiggled but nothing happened.  “Henry, imagine the ball weightless as if it was a single feather or a falling leaf.”  This time the ball moved.  It rolled from the center of our legs right into Freddy’s lap.  Henry began to make the ball go back and forth then repeat over and over.  He started laughing and Freddy said “What the fuck!?” He grabbed the ball and tossed it away. “That’s not funny.”  I was laughing with Henry and said “Like hell it isn’t.”  07102011

Mom came up with Dad and they said “Boys dinner is ready.”  We washed up then ran down stairs.  Dad had changed out of his work clothes and into his sweats too.  Mom was already in hers only covered up with her apron.  “I hope you like meatloaf.”  She served dinner to each of us then sat down and we said grace.  “Dinner is delicious Mom. Thank you.”  “Oh it’s my pleasure son.”  We went back up to the room and hung out for a little bit longer.  I gave Henry a few old journals of spells I wrote down to memorize. “Take these and study them. You just never know when something inside them will come in handy.  We all hugged and said goodbye then he vanished for home.  07102011

Freddy and I got into bed and I asked “Freddy who are you taking to Prom?” “ I don’t know, who are you taking?”  “I don’t know and I don’t even know what I’m wearing either. I think we should go after school tomorrow and pick something out.”  “Sounds good to me, if we can’t find dates maybe we should go together.”  “Yeah that would be fine.” I said as I shut off the light and went right to sleep. 07102011

I woke up early but didn’t move. I just laid in bed thinking about stuff. Freddy was sound asleep and snuggled up to me as usual.   I lifted up the covers and realized that he wasn’t wearing a stitch of clothing.   His hand was resting on my stomach. I could feel the heat coming from it, and it really felt good.   I squeezed him in both my arms and pulled him into me.  That’s when he woke up.  He looked up at me and whispered “Hey”.  I responded “Hey.” I moved one hand down the back of him and pushed his body into mine. “Good Morning sunshine. Did you sleep good?”  “Yeah” he said lifting up the covers to see if he was naked. “I’m naked.”  I laughed and said “I know.”  “How did that happen?”  He leaned over to look on the side of the bed at the floor and all his sweats and stuff was sitting there.  “Oh I must have got too hot or something.”  “yeah, probably” I said.  He laid back down on me, face down with his legs straddling mine. “What about you? Did you sleep good?”  “Yeah I slept fine, thanks.”  We both got up and showered then dressed and went down stairs to eat breakfast.  Dad and Mom were already up and dressed and had eaten.  “Good Morning boys” Dad said.  I kissed both him and Mom and sat down at the table.  We ate a bowl of cereal and then got our things and went off to school.  It was only two days before the big game against Frank Leavy. 07112010

The few days passed and it was Game Day.  Freddy and I met up with the rest of the team in the locker room and coach with Luigi and Lucas were giving us all a pep talk.  The team went out to the field and then we started playing the game.  The first half went pretty smoothly, but the second half got really intense. We were bind and need to step up our game. By the end of the game we won and that’s when all the trouble started.  Their team and cheer leaders were picking fights with everyone out in the parking lot.  I was already suited down and in my street clothes and most of the team was so we ran outside to see what all the noise was.  Our team and cheerleaders began pulling their team off our classmates. It turned into a big brawl.  The sad thing was most of us were using magic against them and after they realized it they all  quickly loaded up onto the bus and escaped the powerful wrath.  After this was all said and done we felt like such winners.  We had beat them on the field and off.  We also realized this was only fuel for anger, hatred and revenge, and we were ready! 07112011

The fourteen of us agreed to partner up for prom.  Then we all went out and picked out the tuxedos and the girls went together to pick out the dresses. Rori offered to supply all the clothes providing they were from her clothing distributor.  Rori took them to England and also his factories in France, and Canada before bringing them back home to the States.  Luigi, Lucas, Doug, and Rori, all judged us guys in our tuxedos before we could pick out the ones we liked, they all had to agree. I thought I was being sneaky by secretly having Lancelot decide on mine but everyone knew why he was there. The Good Doctor with the help of Doug and Ben really made the property look pretty spectacular over the next few weeks.  They had decorative streaming lights everywhere.  In all the trees and bushes were clear glistening lights.  Every post and street lamp was decorated with a huge ribbon.   They had flowers, and colorful plants brought in from all over the world in potted ceramics made by Doug and his kids. They got the horses decorated on the last day and buggies or carriages decorated for transportation from one event to the other.  07112011

Meanwhile back at William Whitman Multipurpose auditorium we were busy magically decorating the place for the big event this evening.  That’s right tonight was the night everything was supposed to go down.  While we were all having a blast celebrating our senior proms the imposter prom goers would be sabotaged by the Senior Class of Frank Leavy Senior High.  I asked the other thirteen to come along with me at some point in time to check up and see how things were going.  Everyone agreed that 9:30 PM was a good time to check in. So I asked Jenna if she would go with me and she said yes.  Then Freddy asked Betsy, and she said yes. Chantelle asked Rick and he laughed and said yep. Melody asked Travis and he said maybe and when she hit him he said yes. Barry asked Veronica and it was a go.  Jason asked Beatrice and she said well sure.  Pearl avoided everyone until all the guys but one was taken then Lance asked her.  Lancelot took us guys out and had us pick out the corsages for the girls.  Rori took the girls out to pick out the Boutonnières.

The group of us had all our other alumni get familiar with the Ranch and all it has to offer as they arrived through out the day. We separated the girls from the guys and so the guys hung out at the local pub, where they served us root beer and soda.  The girls all gathered in the local café which was closed to the public for the day. It was getting close to 6:00 PM and the ghosts were arriving in human form and getting their party underway. Jenna and I went to see how things were coming along.  Everyone had a job and it went off just as  smoothly as it probably did back in the 1920’s.  Our party was starting, and Rori recruited her band to play for us.  Me and the guys walked from the pub to the café and picked up our dates then got in the horse drawn carriages and rode to the Prom.  07112011

The band was rocking and we were having such a great time. Everyone was happy and in a great mood.  A few hours passed and Jenna and I decided to go check on the other Prom.  We got there and it appeared to be going smoothly up until the band stopped playing and the Quarterback from Frank Leavy got on stage with the microphone and he started talking smack about William Whitman.  The people stopped to listen but didn’t seem to respond at all to what he was saying.  I called each of the others over a couple at a time and we stood in the back of the auditorium and watched.  More of the FL class showed up and they were throwing eggs at the Prom guests as well as hitting them in the faces with shaving cream pies.  I got out one of the spell books and slowed down everyone in the room except for us and the FV class.  Each ghost was moving in slow motion but still reacting to the chaos. Then Jenna cast a spell to have cow troffs filled with slimy worms appear behind each FV as we walked by and pushed them inside of them.  Barry was tackling the Quarterback on stage and he along with Freddy and Travis hog tied him then left him face down.  Some of the others were magically stacked on top of one another in a plank position then roped together.  We managed to single out all of them and place them out into the football field then we turn the sprinklers on them and left them all there. Before I left I handed the Frank Leavy Quarterback my Cambodian Blue Hi Zircon called Starlight, then whispered in his ear “So long!”  He vanished never to be seen again.  Jenna removed the slow motion spell from the ghosts and they finished their prom night uninterrupted.  We returned to ours and had the time of our lives.  My Cambodian Blue Hi Zircon called Starlight magically returned to me and I knew the rivalry was finally over.  07112011
